  1. But doesn't that mean, that the current displayed burst altitude, which is totally wrong as compared to the previous patch, is a bug? why is this a wishlist item now? I agree that the fuzing improvements are a wishlist item. more options etc... But the displayed burst altitude being completely wrong and totally misleading should remain as a bug tbh.
  2. it's the other way around. when you set the radio to "Both", you can be on any frequency and still hear transmissions somebody makes over guard. so if you want to hear awacs, no matter which frequency you are on, you have to set avacs to 243.00
  3. yeah looks like since the latest patch you need to keep the hardpoint power off until the store is loaded and the jet has power before flipping it to on, else the TGP never powers up. Haven't tried with rearming a running jet yet, maybe you'll need to flip it to off prior and then back to on after rearm is complete?
  4. There‘s a hotfix planned for the 12th. now let‘s just hope it includes fixes for those things actually
  5. all the JTACs are likely also useless if they lase anything other than 1688
  6. yeah, it is called "Manual Pitch Override Switch"
  7. CZ sets it to the steerpoint, so it will be off target if you have INS drift.
  8. What year is your mission set in? If its before a certain date, GPS wont be available and you‘ll encounter INS drift. I think the key date is March 28, 1994. Anything before that has no GPS
  9. If doing a normal alignment, remember to confirm your position within the first 2 min of alignment (press enter on lat/long/elev lines on the INS page) else you‘ll have a bad alignment
  10. The code in the jet on the DED and on the first kneeboard page are identical? If not, set DED codes to the same as you find on kneeboard.
  11. Is the laser code in the jet the same as the bomb code indicates on the first page of your Kneeboard? if not, adjust the laser in the jet.
  12. There‘s a thread for this in wishlist, although ED seems to be lacking evidence so far.
  13. they shoot at you when you are outside max range if you fly straight at the SAM, as it'll intercept you pretty close to max range, inside the ring. Notice how they barely shoot if you fly at an angle to them, you can even fly through the ring without being shot with the right angle
  14. Just remember, you can overwrite ypur stpt 26 if you use markpoints very frequently
  15. WP 0 is sadly not a thing, so you'll have to manually plug it in on the DED if the mission maker hasn't put down a waypoint at your starting position/airfield
  16. True. The only really annoying part is the current behavior where the mav locks on street lamps instead of the tank driving next to it however. The lamps aren‘t even visible on the WPN page… and yet, the mav prefers them over the hot vehicle next to it.
  17. any building works. I usually boresight them on a town on the way out. or if i head out to sea, i circle the AF once and use a hangar or the tower to bsgt.
  18. Thing is: how would i know if i need to reset the seeker if it either is in break lock or locked on the wrong thing, when the wpn page isn‘t open for me to even verify? While it may probably work in an ideal scenario, 1 lonely target in the wide desert, this doesnt sound safe at all for employing a weapon. It‘d make sense to have the wpn page open for employment in any case, and with dms left/right you can access the other pages instantly after weapon launch anyway.
  19. while that is true, AUTO handoff mostly fails at or close to max range of the mav, leaving it in break lock stage and requires resetting the seeker. or it locks up the street lamp next to it. The Auto handoff is rather useless therefore
  20. Which bindings are you using? I have this knob on a rotary and haven‘t had any issues so far. i bound CW and CCW binds for that knob
  21. with large clusters or columns, I tend to shoot at the ones furthest apart if shooting multiple mavs. just to avoid the missiles interfering with eachother, like blowing up because of another one impacting close by or similar. Usually only set the TGP once in the rough area of the target and the rest is manually adjusted on the MAV page as soon as the next video feed is up. well boresighted mavs have very little deviation, so you shouldnt need to adjust the TGP at that point.
