ah ok so in the case of a cold start or restart after repair i MUST do the at minimum the short alignment in oder to avoyd the horison secure case? do i understand you right?

in the options i preset that alignment should be not neccesary or done i will check that and after that i ll run the complet long slignment we will see what will happen ;-))

At first, thaks for the tip. I tried that out so far but: ASI and ADI are sill caged ad the head u display provides me with no further information then altittude no speed no climb ladder or course indicator, i did that after engin start and with external power so that i cm to the conclusion that there must be something mor or different to do---- best rgards for germany gerd

i´m running mad every time i start from parking lot or even after repair (you have to shoot engine down) I will not be able tostart with normal head up display oder second instruments because "horizon secured" I witched any switsches in all thinkable pisition no improvment all time the same is it a bug or am i too stupit to handel if anyone has any idea i would bei glad to read about if you like i will give you full acces to my computer via teamfew so you may check everything in the settings.... thanks for help

Hallo Leute neuer rechne alles neu runtergeladen und installiert. A4 Skyhawk runtergeladen und in den Aircraft ordner kopiert. Icon ist da A4 fliegt ...nur leider ohne mich denn ich gelange nicht ins cockpit. Diese frage hat es bestimmt schon 1000 mal gegeben.....hat jemand einen tip füt mich? LG Gerd

Hello to all the scooter jockeys and cockpit builders I NEED HELP The problem: The trim in A4 skyhawk is supportet due to cooly hat on the stick. BUT with the adjustments that i am able to make will never trim the aircraft in an acceptable way (I know that a certain trim will only work under the giver conditions changing in speed altitude ect spoils a given trim and leeds to re trim. In horizontal fly in a constant altitude without de or acceleration the trim will automaticly run along the longitudinal acis so that i have to retrim aileron or it will change transverse axis so i have to retrim ruder. Aditional the trim will run away as soon i jettison all external pylons and it will not trim also not after neutralise all trim settings with trim reset it wil allways wander up and down....i have no clue why The intended solution I thought ok a potentiometer might do the trimjob more sensitive more precise so I bought a Leo Bodnar BU0836X plus potis type P260 and connected it as discribed withe the BU0836X only to realize that potis are only bendable to axis controls. The cooly hat is no axis.....ok no solution Did anyone has an idea how to solve that problem? Is there anyone around here who has drawing of A4 instrument panels with measurements? My name is Gerd and my callsign is glider, because ißm a glider pilot. mymost used aircraft in dcs is the scooter and the f15 for air to air....i would like to fly with you together, practice and execute combat mission wich i would like to set up for us....i´m 62 years old and from germany. flying real planes since 1988 an dcs since 3 years. my hardware is not the best one i5 32 gig and nvidia 1060 so i will not be able to host missions but i like to develope and send by email to a member that is able to host...so far so good.....best regard from good old germany gerd glider henseler
