If you have a Meta Quest Pro and are annoyed by the link cable you could consider to buy the ASUS RT-AXE7800 router from me. Be aware that the router should be located farely close to where you use the Quest Pro. I had it located 10 meters away with a wall in between. Also it is recommended that you connect your computer via cable to the router so the data does not have to go twice over the WiFi, which can limit the available bandwith for the Quest Pro. Ich versteigere momentan eine neuwertige Meta Quest Pro, unter einem Monat alt, mit Rechnung, auf eBay. Wer Glück hat, kann die VR-Brille vielleicht für um die 900€ schießen: Meta Quest Pro ----- Hätte auch noch eine vollfunktionstüchtige Reverb G2 günstig abzugeben. Sie hat einmal auf der linken Seite geflimmert, weswegen ich dachte sie wäre defekt. Lag aber nur an einem temporär überhitzten Netzteil der Brille. Habe sie eine Zeit nicht am Strom gehabt und jetzt funktioniert sie wieder einwandfrei. Bei Interesse gerne PN. Gruß, Migo

Make sure the controllers are really powered off (by holding the menu button on them for 10 seconds), and not just in standby. Because in standby the LEDs are off, too, but the controllers still can get activated by minimal movements and then you get the pop up again.

Did you try to run the tool as administrator and see if the values persist?

Hi, this is what I do: Have the controllers powered off from the beginning (make sure no lamp is on on them) Put on the headset Use hand gestures to link to the computer (you can do this by clicking on the clock with hand gestures, this opens the quick settings with the link option) Start DCS There you go, no annoying popups

I got inspired by you guys and when my G2 started to have a flickering issue on the left lense I ordered a Meta Quest Pro and tried it yesterday. I am impressed as well, also I am running the Quest Pro at the highest resolution in the oculus settings and cranked up the FSAA setting in DCS to 4. I have a RTX 4080 and though my fps are locked to 36 most of the time, it is a way smoother flying than at 45 or 90 fps which always stuttered a bit on my G2. So thanks for sharing your experiences here.

I have it running on pretty high settings with an Ryzen 5 5600x and a rtx 4080 on a Reverb G2. My fps are locked at 45 now and nothing I tried let it drop below that which is nice. The reduced loading times are cool as well.

Thanks for the hint Templar. I have found the right spot for me now. ASW off, fps capped to 45 with OpenXR Toolkit and I also turned down textures from high to medium and reduced chimney smoke density from 5 to 1. No ASW artifacts anymore and it's very smooth.

Alright, I found out that the FPS can be capped with the OpenXR Toolkit . I am now going to test this and report back later.

Hey everyone, I have bad microstuttering in VR on my Reverb G2. I already searched the forum and tried some things but with no luck this far. HAGS is off, and Holographic Shell is disabled by one of the newer Win11 updates as default. I am using the OpenXR runtime and I can fly pretty smooth with ASW capping the fps to 45 but I get pretty bad artifacts then. So I would be really glad if someone has further ideas or was in the same situation. Here is a screen of my frametimes: I think it would also be a good solution to limit the FPS to a value of 45 without ASW, but I haven't found a software to do so, yet. I would have tried Rivatuner, but it seemed to have disappeared from the net. You can set a maximum fps value in the Nvidia control panel, but this didn't cap my fps in VR unfortunately. Ich habe auch schon streckenweise mit dem Problem zu kämpfen gehabt und vor einiger Zeit ein bisschen dazu recherchiert. Laut dem HP Support, wird der Ton über den Kontakt mit der Schraube übertragen mit dem die Lautsprecher an der VR-Brille befestigt sind. Es soll helfen die Schraube zu lösen, einmal zu reinigen, und dann wieder festzuschrauben. Habe es aber selber noch nicht probieren müssen. Quelle: HP Support Forum Thead

Have you tried to start with every setting at its lowest and look at the fps? You can then start to increase one setting after another, checking the fps at each step, until you reach your performance goal. If your fps are still bad with everything low, then its not DCS, but something else causing the issue. I usually follow this procedure as this gives you the most information and in the past I was surprised that options like water quality or civ traffic affected my fps the most. Also install the latest Windows update, which improves game performance (https://forum.dcs.world/topic/313913-holographicshell-fix/) and turn off Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows settings. Hope you achieve an improvement!
