It appears that the farp icon cannot be moved over steep terrain... hills. EDIT: Sorry, I should have said I tested and confirmed your finding. This is normal because farps cannot be placed on the side of steep terrain.

Thank you guys. My concern is that Steam does not remove files officially removed by ED. The only mod I use is fholger's OpenVR_mod, which I remove/test/replace after each OB update.

I am a Steam OB user. Steam allows verification of game files but does not remove unofficial files. Is there a way to identify unofficial files in the DCS game folders without a complete reinstall?

DCS simulates an optical zoom and so would not pixelate the image. There is a nasty problem with distortion when moving your head though. EDIT: nasty = nausea inducing

To me, the zoom is more like using binoculars or a small telescope.

Thank you Binary, and thank you for ScratchPad! Kudos! I too migrated away from adding buttons to the ScratchPad window but then workflow frustration kicked in while designing dialog layouts. Finally managed to get require("DialogLoader") to work inside a dynamic dofile though. It is a shame that there are no sendKey() or getWindow() functions.

I tested adding a few on-screen keyboard buttons but could not find a way to obtain the cursor "column" position, only the "row". An "append-only" keyboard would be confusing. EDIT: Solved, coding resumes.

This is also my experience (VR), although it has been this way since I started. I can make one "complex" module change before I need to reboot the computer (e.g. Hornet -> Viper). The same happens if I use F2 view too many times.

I find it very hard to believe that ED are actually considering adding more to the already exhauseted VR pipeline.

This is how the F/A-18C looks like at night in HP Reverb G1. All other aircraft lights are fine. NOTE: Not a screen-shot, the mirror does not look the same.
