We obviously fly under very different conditions. This thread is a request to enhance DCS World with a mapping for the "Ready Pre-Contact" radio command, to allow HOTAS. Based on my experience, in VR with wake turbulence, and most nights banking with desync, I strongly believe this would benefit players of all skills, and so I endorse this request. Also, it is an enhancement that would ultimately be optional. I see little point in arguing against such a request. Thanks.

No, formation flying needs HOTAS, don't kid yourself you can fly without hands that close to another plane.

I agree, "Ready Pre-Contact" would benefit from a keybind, especially in VR with wake turbulence. HOTAS compatible menus would be cool too... cursor, up/down, etc.

Marianas low-level coastal flight in Huey uncovered a lot of invisible walls for me, and yes I agree, some tree hit boxes extend far to high above the graphics.

Of course I could be wrong, but I thought the 3D scene (ground, sky, objects, actors, lights) was only processed once and then rendered once for Screen or twice for VR. I don't think that is 3x. I do, there is no other experience like it. The system requirements for DCS High (outdated now) and/or DCS VR are not much different to the specs required for other demanding AAA games/sims.

Reverb G1 user here too, also with TM WH sitck and throttle on the desk. I had tracking issues until I increased the power of my main room light. I fly with curtains closed, a 100W equivalent LED main room light, and a basic LED desk lamp (from a popular Swedish outlet). My RGB keyboard and lamp do not appear to cause issues with the G1 sensors. I did disabled the WH throttle LEDs though, distracting!

One thing to be aware of is that trees are not individual objects but rather groups, the entire group will be removed. I have only tested with Caucasus and the groups north of Kobuleti are not too big.

Ah yes, I see the same bug. The scenery remove objects option appears to only remove squares and ignores the shape (including circle).

I did some more testing... Test One I created a circle with radius 8000, switched to quad-point, edited and moved the corners. I flew down the right of the runway, turned 270 degress and fly over the center of the runway, the trigger failed. I then flew outside the 8000 and came back in and the tigger worked flying directly over the runway. Test Two I created a circle with radius 20, switched to quad-point, edited and moved the corners. I flew down the right of the runway, turned 270 degress and fly over the center of the runway, the trigger worked as expected. Please note that moving the corners does not appear to change the radius.

I have a rectangular trigger zone over the runway that works as expected. I can fly to the left and right without triggering it. There may be issues with very small zones.

Click the "Edit" button next to the "ZONE TYPE" drop-down to reveal four yellow boxes that can be dragged with the mouse...
