  1. MSAA x4 and SSS creates shadows glitches as well, no upscalling on 2D 4090 here
  2. Upon further testing @Flappie if you open the "Mission_2_8", delete all the units in the file (plane, statics, etc) and then save as to a new file like "Mission 2.9 tests", open the new file add an F18 slot, then there is no crash. The crash seems to relate with some unit after saving the mission with 2.9. In case that helps you narrow down the problem. If I get more fine grain details on what type of unit causes the weird "after save" behaviour I'll send an update. Cheers
  3. The same happens when putting a slot in already HOT started on Air.
  4. Opening a mission created in DCS 2.8.x that used MIST & DML causes crashes on F18s. Both HOT and COLD. When from COLD the crash happens when cranking the second engine. When HOT when entering the cockpit. On the same machine, other missions work fine. The same mission, if not opened on the mission editor and re-saved works fine when running 2.9 both on single player and multiplayer (local and dedicated server). Find attached multiple reports and 2 mission files (1 Saved on 2.8 and 1 Saved on 2.9) Steps to reproduce. 1. Run the "Mission_2_8" mission, occupy any F18 Slot and start up - Mission works fine 2. Run the "Mission_2_9" mission, occupy any F18 Slot and start up - Game crashes to desktop 3. Run the "Mission_2_9_empty" mission, occupy any F18 Slot and start up - Game crashes to desktop "Mission_2_9_empty" is the same as the previous 2 but with all the units, triggers scripts and anything else removed. FYI the slots are cold and empty. Refuel before starting up. Creating a new mission from the Mission editor does not have this issue, at least to our tests so far. Please DM me if you need further information logs or steps to reproduce. dcs.log-20231019-204430.zip dcs.log-20231019-203816.zip dcs.log-20231019-203314.zip dcs.log-20231019-210208.zip Mission2_9.miz Mission_2_8.miz Mission_2_9_empty.miz
  5. @Flappie I am guessing the fixed was not released on the latest update today, correct? Same issue can be replicated in the MT build today. Not present on single thread. Cheers
  6. This has been happening a lot lately. Got no small track to post and is already acknowledged. Any news on a fix? Thanks.
  7. Hi, Please see the attached tracks and Tacview recordings. I know the damage model of the bomblets of the 154A has been raised before, but I think it was marked as fixed in a previous release. I think the problem is still there. Compared to the 105 the damage is minimal and doesn't seem realistic for such a munition. In my tests with direct targeting the SA-6 radar sending a single JSOW, failed to kill it 3 out of 5 times let alone the minimal damage in anything else in the path. Also I noticed (Tacview, as I forgot to save this track and didn't happen in the one after) that sometimes while I set it go side by side, they flight path the JSOWs follow is that of a line. They do however, land in what seems to be the correct azimuth. Tacview-20211117-113702-DCS-ClustersTest.zip.acmi 154A_BUG.trk 154A_BUG_single.trk 154A_BUG_single_little_damage.trk

  9. I am trying to get the SLAM-ER to follow an angle for 85 degrees in the terminal phase and seems to ignore it. I will try to get a single player track explaining that soon. Is this a known issue? Something introduced recently? I am also using 1 WPT before the terminal phase.
  10. Thanks a lot dude! that's great! If you can send me the Fusion 360 files will be totally awesome as well, as I will need to tweak them a bit. Cheers
  11. @Terry DactilPlease please please can you share your stl files or design files for the Force sensitive assembly you have for the cougar stick? thanks in advance!
  12. Hey all, selling a Thrustmaster Cougar Stick as it is no use for me right now. I bought this second hand as I wanted to mod and use the throttle and so the stick is up for grabs. Price £80 or Best Offer UK only (Blame Brexit for that) It comes with a few extras and a few issues. It is great for modding or your main stick, if you replace/clean the pots or the gimbal. All the issues below are based from wear and tear of the previous owner, Cougar bases are well known for those issues. See below for details. Condition Base: Used Visible marking on the base Slight centre play (I have minimised the existing play but there is some remaining) Slight spike in the pots (Replace or clean is easy) A couple of the base screws are missing, no functional issues with that Condition Stick: Used Visible wear marking, stick will be cleaned as best as possible before selling Replaced DMS hat with the 3d printed "Castle Hat" (newer blocks) Replaced some of the buttons as the old ones were failing All buttons now work great, with good as new feel DM for details and more photos
  13. Echo that, that would be a much wanted feature.
