  1. Thanks Mikhail, I received my K-51 Collective yesterday afternoon in Perth Western Australia. From notification from the courier (and yourself) that it had arrived in Australia in Sydney and was awaiting inspection, to receiving yesterday, it was only 5 days. All up from the time it was posted till the time arrived including Australian customs was only 2 weeks total. I have been most impressed with the entire process, thank you very much. No hassles with customs and extremely well packed. It is a great piece of kit and certainly adds a whole new dimension to Helicopter flight. The bracket was fantastic and made it very easy to fit. I have even built a new Helicopter simulator chair and set-up to fly Helicopters exclusively. I put it together yesterday, it was recognised by Windows and DCS and I was up an flying within and hour. Absolutely fantastic and love it thanks very much. I will post a more detailed review when I have time. Thanks again Mikhail, you've made my day....and year. Bracket fitting for the Collective made it very easy to fit to ant chair.
  2. Hi K-51, Read a review on you collective, very interested. Please add me to your list Shipping to Perth, Western Australia. Thanks.....compuway
  3. Nice work Bullen. Great footage and matched perfectly with the music track. Superb job.
  4. Thanks very much Chuck. Such an enormous amount of work and fantastic quality as usual. Cheers!!
  5. Thanks for the reply Rudel, I am currently away at work for a couple of weeks but will give this a go when I get home. It has got me thinking and could be something to do with my display settings?? Cheers Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  6. Hi folks, I updated to DCS 2.5 last week but I have not been able to start DCS since then. I had both 1.5.8 and OpenAlpha 2.2 installed previously. The error I am getting is a generic Windoze Error ( DCS,exe Application Error).(attached) It goes through the updater sequence but then crashes each time with the same error. I have run Windows /scannow from powershell and it reports all .dll files are intact and operable. I have run the DCS_updater.exe cleanup and DCS_updater.exe repair several time at it says it has been successful each time. I have also tried running DCS 1.5.8 again and it comes up with the same error. Is this a Windows system file issue or is it a corrupted DCS componet? I have attached my updater log and the only dcs.log in my saved games directory. I am presuming in is not actually getting into DCS because there is only the one log. I have spend the last 3 days on this and tried a miriad of things and fixes...all to no avail. Any help most appreciated. dcs.log.txt autoupdate_log.txt
  7. Like to add my thanks as well Chuck. Very well presented. Thank you.
  8. Hi Andre, I have been following your threads (SimShaker KW-90X and SimShaker for DCS World - Sound Mode Expansion) with avid interest. I have a Gametrix KW-908 which I got through Tomas Zahradka in New Zealand which I must admit has added another dimension to my flight siming experience and in particular DCS World. (Tomas has also been a wonderful help in providing assistance and guidance). I have built my own Block 52 F-16 Cockpit which I had fitted a couple of Aura base shakers to the ejection seat. I have them wired through an amp off the onboard sound card and although providing some tactile feedback do lack that certain oomph!! I have just donated through the Dream Sim Team website and am definitely interested in helping test this great enhancement to flight siming. Look forward to assisting in the testing. Cheers...Wayne
  9. Thanks cichlidfan, Gave that a try but no luck, same result. I have also tried without actually mapping the views to the Hotas. The "F" keys all work fine in the control panel set up but again in game only the F1, F5 & F10 keys are the only ones that work. I have had a look at the default, keyboard and joystick.lua files and they seem to have the correct entries for the F keys and associated views. One other thing I noticed today is it doesn't matter which aircraft I load and fly, whenever I come back to the options screen in the control panel it defaults to the UH-1H control set. Even though I may have flown the F-15C and afterwards exited, when I fire it back up it defaults to the UH-1H again. I am wondering if I just reload the whole damned thing and all my modules?
  10. Hi folks, I have a bit of a strange issue. I have DCS World, A-10C, BS2, P51, FC3 and UH-1H running two different machines, one on a MSI GT60 laptop and on a PC. Both run Win 7 Home Premium. On both systems I have a TM Warthog and Track IR. No mods on either system. On the Warthog I have mapped the F1, F2, F3 and F4 keys to the DMS switch in the DSC Control Panel (not in T.A.R.G.E.T.) All has been working fine until one of the final 1.2.7 updates when the views on the PC stopped working. The laptop still works OK. F1 on the keyboard still brings up the cockpit view but the other view "F" keys don't work, either from the keyboard or from the Warthog DMS switch. Everything works fine in the DCS Control Panel. I have cleared them several times and remapped and all appears good including in the Windows Devices properties. Once you get in game they don't work. The F10 map key works fine as does the Track IR. This is the same for all aircraft in all simulations so it must be a common DCSW issue. I have recently upgraded to 1.2.8 hoping that this would fix the problem, but alas it has not. It all seems very strange that it would affect one machine and not the other. The only thing that is different with the two is the laptop is running a single screen where as the PC is running multiple screens. (1 x 1920x1080 plus 2 x 800x600 TM Cougar MFD's) I have tried comparing .lua files but cannot see any difference there. I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything.(YET!) Any ideas or solutions would be most welcome before I contemplate a reinstall.:helpsmilie: Thanks...Wayne
  11. I have two. Just greedy I guess. Joystick: 00825 Throttle: 00922 Joystick: 00963 Throttle: 00909 Perth: Western Australia. AUSTRALIA
  12. Thanks shu, Still learning but these charts certainly make life easier. Very professional.
  13. All modules are activated and I can get into DSCW. Prior to upgrading to DCSW 1.2.1 everything worked fine but now it doesn't matter what I try to load it will start with a transparent cockpit. When I go to fly the aircraft explodes immediately. In the training mission the transparent cockpit just hangs vertical in space with the wind whistling through. Switching to external view the whole rendered aircraft appears but it is hanging vertical in the sky. I have uninstalled an reinstalled several times now with the same result. Wierd thing is last night out of frustration I installed DCSW and modules onto my Dell XPS laptop with 8Gb RAM and Nvidia 2GB GTS-540M. Same result "Transparent cockpit that explodes when I go to fly". How can that be??? 2 completely separate machines with different hardware. This has to be a software issue. How can I tell whether the software is corrupted as it all installs OK and gets into DCSW fine? DCSW version updated yesterday to 1.2.1.6288. I can run LOFC2 and Falcon BMS 4.32 fine with no issues. I have seen the post on the RAM issue but it is pretty much null and void now. I am pretty frustrated to say the least.....Thanks Wayne
  14. Thanks MemphisBelle, woked a treat. Would have taken me forever to figure out. All reloaded and I can get into DCSW 1.2.1, but still have the transparent cockpit and crashes immediately. Have tried to load a couple of training missions but the aircraft explodes and crashes immediately I press Pause/Break, then the wingman appears in a full aicraft and flys around no issues. Still at a loss as to what it is. All worked fine in DCSW 1.2.0. Thanks again...Wayne
