Anyone here going to pull the trigger on this? Don't be shy, speak up :) I'm REALLY interested in what it's like with DCS. If it makes the cockpit gauges and text a lot more readable, and allows visual acuity of more distant aircraft, I'll buy one.

Day 0 for me, my favourite aircraft of all time! Seeing one of these doing a high speed pass in person makes the FA-18 look like a toy in comparison.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but Windows forgets calibration settings for my CH combatstick after every restart. Is this normal? If so how do I lock it in?

I can't even get 2.0 to load with the Mig. What am I missing?

Huey module is missing from my module manager also (v1.5), and it's not installed. It does however show in 2.0. How do I get Huey to show in 1.5? Link above was no help whatsoever.

Well I wouldn't say it's essential, I find it easier to fly without the use of trim.

Of course it was, fixed wing aircraft fly themselves for the most part. Welcome to the wonderful world of rotary wing aircraft :) Keep at it mate, you'll get there. Took me a few days but I now can land successfully and in control 100% of the time. Make sure you're using a joystick with a soft spring action. Changing from the Warthog TM stick to a CH combatstick made one hell of a difference for me.

I would like the copilot to take his hand off the stck when I have control.

It's also a pre-order for the full version. When it's out you don't spend another cent. Some of these comments are unbelievable. It's $49 for crying out loud, not $490.

Nah, its a bargain. The UH-1H is easily the most engaging flight sim experience I've had. Well worth the price of entry imo.
