  3. Sorry... I have found the instructions in the Raven One Guide: "I" is Anti-Ice, "R" is Rain in the Windshield Anti-Ice/Rain switch.
  4. Hi Baltic! I swear I was looking for the info here on YT, on your page. Currently playing R1, M08. I try to use the new trigger (space bar button) but have no clue what is I/R? I am sure it is so banale I will be shamed to get to know but even whatever I try I cannot find out. And I also realised even if you push the spacebar the image stays there...
  5. In mission 4 I seem to fail the LATT task (after the 2 intercept task), which is kind of okay. Here unfortunately the restart option proceeds the actual scores. When I get the unstatisfactory score I no longer able to restart the task. I have to fly the whole mission. Is there a way to change this? Thanks!
  6. Hi there! I'm testing a mission where multiple SA-6 batteries are placed with 4 launchers and 1 Kub radar. I dropped over 10 CBU105 on them and for me it seems the radar is never targeted by the cluster like it would not be visible for them. I'm using openbeta, F16, Syria map, single player during night. Anybody experienced this? Thanks
  7. Hi Guys! I wonder if it is possible to let Iceman drop bombs when sitting in the RIO seat and lasing targets. I usually jump back setup the lasing and jump forward to drop the bomb, which is kind of okay but sometimes when I jump forward Jester touches something and I am unable to correct it in short notice. It would be nice to have for Iceman two commands: Fly to Designated point and pickle when ready/told.
  8. Yesterday on the latest openbeta I was flying in single player (caucasus) with my B. I was practicing GBU 12/LANTIRN. I was jumping between the pilot and RIO seat. I set the laser, designeted the point and jumped front to turn in and drop the bomb. After the first back and forth switching the Lantirn picture on my VDI was blank and could never got it back. All the symbology was there but the picture itself was blank. Tried to play with the VDI contrast and brightness but did not solve the issue. I jumped back and on the TDI the picture was okay. I will do some other tests later as well. If anything would help to identify the problem just let me know! Thanks a lot!
  9. I have the same issue but not always. Sometimes launching the game with MT the game starts in desktop mode. Nothing fixes the issue, I have to restart the computer. Than it works. Approx 3 times out of 10 happens to me. Very annoying. I'm using ReverbG2, SteamVR. Everything standard no messing with OpenXR.
  10. I hade the same case. Paco was supposed to contact ground but never did. To be fair I messed up the landing, after the first touch somehow I lifted up again, did a "second" landing and overrun Bravo. First exited on alpha, went back to Bravo twice but no joy. Taxied to original spot, also no joy. I had to exit.
  11. Mission 1 | Play 1, Codename: Total Disaster! Before anyone asks, I read all the documentation before even launching DCS. It helped a lot, but not enough! The intro, the spin-up, the message from Paco was spot on. I felt like "alright this is really it, no messing around this time, needs to be lazer focused, expectations are skyhigh". I was so nervous, I felt myself like when I was flying the Cessna in real life. I remember I had in the simulator several thousands hours, driving 737, 747 etc. and I was proficient. Then I sat in the cockpit of the real Cessna and I was lost, even did not know what to do after engine start, how to find the oil gauge etc... After a good engine start I immediately had a hickup, turned left instead of right, I realised half of the taxiway that I was taxiing to the wrong direction. To my defense the whole package of kneeboards confused me. Maybe 100 pages on this mission which contains layout approach and departure charts of every airport in the area, wow? I wish I could change the sequence of the kneeboards because the button I assigned on my joystick will be weared off at the end of the campaign Flying to the range was okay. Paco is a very good teacher. Of course when he asked about the flat spin I chose the wrong answer, I am mad at myself because I knew the procedures I even did a training video on that topic.... Again, too nervous. [there is a small misstype in the F10 menu. The B) answer starts with "A)"]. Flying the manouveres are no joke, they are extremely hard with the Tomcat as there is no correction from the aircraft you are responsible for every feet you make whether it is up, down or right, left. My first in-level turn was - as Paco said - sloppy. And he was right, I was everywhere but not on the numbers.... My second try was okay. The rest of the manouvers was okay. Maybe 2 other one I had to repeat. The squirrel cage manouver gave me hard time because I could not remember which manouver is what I was lost a little bit what comes after what. Too bad the manouvers are not repeated on the Kneeboard. The low speed manouver was a complete mess however Paco said it was okay (I was slow but I was everywhere...). After the Mach run I realised I had 1600 lbs fuel and we were 30 nm from the peak. I ran out of fuel just when I turned on final... Other learning: If you are too used to rely on Jesters call you might find yourself in trouble if he "forgets" to watch things instead of you. But I do not know if I could abort the tasks and telling Paco we are Bingo. Don't get me wrong, the mission is absolutely outstanding I am blown away by the immersion. I can't wait to try it again and to make new mistakes ! I really felt myself as I would be in a RAG and the stake is super high and if I do not complete the training with success I need to uninstall my F14 and cannot fly with it anymore! Real cudos to Meagen, it was nice to hear her again!
  12. Hey Reflected and Paco! First of all, thank you very much for this excellent campaign! In a lot of aspect this is a unique campaign and I think no better could happen to the DCS Tomcat community to have this! If you do not mind I would collect here my thoughts and experience mission by mission! I just feel the need to share my experience because this mission set is truly remarkable! So SPOILER ALERTS! A little bit of myself. I'm a 20+ years flightsim player, in real life I had a PPL (not current anymore unfortunately). In DCS I started with A10, F18 then F14. I considerED myself as a quite good driver of the F14..... until now. Carrier landings are routine now, formation flying, AAR no problem. We have a small F14 virtual squadron where I use to write procedures so I know fairly well the NATOPS. I use to fly as RIO, radar management with ease, LANTIRN love. Than this campaign came. Oh man...
  13. This came up (white mountains) to me when the Kneeboard is opened. When I close it then it is gone.
  14. I had the same issue yesterday evening. All shadows, not only in the cockpit but in outside view were off. E.g. if you had a plane parking on the ramp its shadow was 40-50 meter away. I played in single player Nevada map, the speed and angels campaign F14B, Mission 1. I was using the latest openbeta with MT, in VR (SteamVR). I can add a track later.
  15. I totally agree. Sometimes when the target is close and in an urban area where it is difficult to make a difference between the buildings I look out of the window to orientate myself and on my CPG IHAADS symbology a Cued LOS Reticle (crosshair) would be extremely helpful, to see where my TADS is looking. I watch my tads on the TDU and I switch off (tune down) the TADS feed on the IHADSS. Is it not modeled or even the real one did not have this feature?
  16. Hey Baltic! I recently completed the campaign. I was first day buyer of R1 and also first day buyer of R1DF. I cannot decide which campaign I enjoyed the most, both of them are masterpieces. R1 set the bar high, but R1DF set it even higher. The storyline - side storys and behaviours of characters - in R1DF was not so prominent as in R1 but the additional expertise, procedures, realism fills the gap. I think nobody knows what tremendous job you had to invest to create this campaign, I salute you! There are here and there some issues but 99% only "standard DCS AI issues". Salutation to all the voice actors as well! What a job! It was nice to hear "familiar" voices here and there! The difficulty of the campaign was high but not impossible. Please do not tune it down not even by an inch, it is perfect as it is! Thank you again! Keep up the good work! Cant wait for the next one! Regarding the M15. The only thing I have found that on the way back, Sluggo and Blade has teh same SA page name (SE21).
  17. Nothing is impossible Actually I forgot to tell that the way I knew that he is attacking the other group because I have seen it in the SA page. He had dotted lines towards the North Group.
  18. On thing I have realised in M13. At the first engagement WEED is not helping I order him to engage the group in front of us (South Group as sorted from CAJUN) but Weed turns to North to engage the other group.

  20. I dropped the MK82 with VT300 just next to the ship (very close but not hiting the ship), if I remember on the starboard (opposite side where the fast mover was) and they stopped. On first try I dropped the MK82 on the ship, it started to burn but did not sink. On second try she sunk
