Steam is just another platform thanks made available
At times its cheaper and more affordable in steam however comparing to standalone there could be some limitation on steam
Just imagine if you're selling a product you may not only sell on Amazon but might sell on etsy and eBay as well
Well known products always available cross platform
It's always best to do some research before commit to buy something

Why anyone in the world would prefer steam over standalone when come to DCS
If this because personal preference then don't complaint about pricing

I agree, specially the damage model badly need a work out, imagine dropping GBU on a tank a soldier stand next to it compare to IRL he's the superman

Tbh @ED is one of the Game Developer out there pumping with updates so much more often and something we all should take a moment to appreciate it use the time to learn what needed while waiting next one

On your HSI use precise to program your waypoint, when 40nm out from Target use waypoint designate on your FLIR Pod will make it easy to find target

I played multiplayer for years now and after lot of testing just figured issue was with my IP for some reason, Those servers I never joined was not able to join as well, I switched to VPN and that seems to resolve the problem, I assume in this case could be NAT settings on my router or issue from ISP end

using open beta can't join any server, 2 out of 10 server I can join, the rest will kick me out back to server browser page
log shows this error NET: Connection failed with code -10061
uninstalled all mods
did clean and repair
same issue

i fly the F18 and sending a Harpoon over to the ship is useless, Started to drop GBU on it and most time I dodge 6-7 SAM before dropping 1 on it and yeah I fly with my wingman and most time he got targeted as bait :P

The damage model of bombs is really bad for some weapon specially on F18
Bombs hitting ground target example a tank and soldier stand next to it and didn't die, Compare dropping a bomb in IRL Impact is big with radius and if this Simulated properly will be geat

I dont find option for FLIR Zoom in command list

So I assigned Axis Command Zoom view to zoom in and out cockpit to my slider key but then my zoom on DDI for FLIR is not working, How do I assign FLIR DDI Zoom in and out to my Joystick Slider?
