  1. Anyone got the B-2 to work? It just spirals into the ground at the waypoint with the bombing task. This is using JDAMs

Trying to edit the Tomcat over Caucasus to have some units on the boat as the carrier the tomcat resides on is completely empty, edited the base miz and generated a new mission as well as tried to restart using first mission to no avail. Any idea as to why it might not be responding to the edits in base mission file?
  4. Awesome campaigns so far, absolutely loving the F-18 PG campaign. The one question I have is, how hard would it be for me to change the campaign to spawn at a field instead of the boat?
  5. Awesome will look into use of the zones to define detection. So the only thing I noticed and this my just be an AI fault, I've specified an engagement zone as well as several patrols. Immediately on take off the 6 blue fighters fly across the channel and engage the Russian fighters immediately. Then all blue fighters RTB as well as surviving red, however on the next takeoff they all go to their patrol zones and CAP. No it would seem you don't need to be very knowledgeable as long as you understand what some of the things you're trying to achieve are. I used one of the CAP missions as a template and reworked it from there adding in more aircraft, more CAP zones etc. It didn't take long once I figured out the structure required. Although I imagine I could make the code a tad more organized on my part haha.
  6. I think the appealing thing of GCICAP for some was the simplicity to edit a few variables and call it done. That being said MOOSE seems to provide far more flexibility. It's been challenging to learn LUA coding but slowly it's making sense. I like the idea of having a dispatcher and the ability to utilize AWACS or EWR stations. I've currently got a mission in 2.1 I'm learning moose on and now have 5 groups of aircraft repeatedly capping separate areas. When you say polygon zones does that mean I can make a border much like an engage zone with a unit and it's waypoint on late activation?
  7. Ah ok, was just curious as GCI CAP doesn't work and I thought it relied on that, sounds like something pertaining to GCI cap. Although Automan is dead too but that I don't think relies on MIST, I could be wrong I don't know too much about the coding side of things.
  8. Experiencing similar issue, loaded with rockets and then came back and grabbed 75's, thought maybe was an issue with 75's alone so I grabbed 75B's instead to see and no dice. Bug?

  10. Yah I regenerated a new mission 2x and also deleted out SLmod as I was getting an error regarding a script when exiting the mission. I thought that may be part of it. But alas no luck. Maybe I can just adjust the spawn location to a different ramp then after generating the mission?
  11. Anyone else running into an issue where they can't get into the jets? You join the slot but you are unable to actually enter the jet. We tried on 2 separate people hosting and no luck.

  13. I'd love to see these working, would be great to use on our server. I tested the script for fun and got the same parallel universe issue.
  14. Yah at one point I had 2.5 as the PD in the DK2 but my frames took a big hit. I think I might go the route of the Rift. Mostly seen raving reviews about it in DCS

I'm torn between getting a CV1 or a warthog (X55 ATM), I've tried the dk2 from a friend and found not the greatest frames to be had (expected), but the thing I'm more concerned about is instrument legibility. Can anyone give a definitive answer on that? I fly CAS mostly and some CAP so being able to read instruments is kind of a given haha.

On the F99th server we have a script made by one of our guys that actually sets you up as a FAC in a certain plane or helicopter, through menus you can switch it out to the laser code you need to drop on. Regularly we will have someone flick from 1113 for SU25's to 1688 for mirages if there are no A-10's around to buddy lase. Unfortunately like others have mentioned it's set on mission editor and there's nothing you can really do unless you have a script mentioned like the one above. This is also player controlled mind you by the pilot in the FAC aircraft.

  19. Hey guys, looking for some advice regarding the skin template for the IL-76/8. After downloading the template and skinning pieces of it I noticed that a portion under the wing will not skin, no matter what. This area also seems to include the engines as well. I looked into the LUA for the skins of other aircraft and tried hunting down the other files to figure out where it is and just can't seem to find it anywhere.
