  1. Have you tried any other games/software? Do you have the same problem with them? In the PimaxXR runtime i'd try turning off the "Enable Quad Views". Reboot your computer and try again. Almost sounds like its running as Fixed Foveated Rendering. Cheers!
  2. you go to your DCS World Icon on your Desktop and right click to find your properties.
  3. schepper - Is your point that the mirror is really small? Gunfreak - Cloud on Ultra? Try setting that to standard. Lens effect need to be set to None. This interferes with the Quad Views Stuff. From the Quad Views Wiki DCS World DCS World has two modes of operation: the single-threaded mode, and the new experimental multi-threaded mode. Due to a bug in the game with single-threaded mode (cursor renders double), you must use the multi-threaded mode. In the DCS World settings, you must disable 'VR' -> 'Bloom effect' and 'System' -> 'Lens Effects' as they produced poor visuals when using foveated rendering. A bug in DCS World causes bothersome visual glitches when using NVG. You may use Tacca's NVG mod for a more usable experience.
  4. have you checked your setting vs what I have set? Are they the same or do you have something else set? Are you running the Pimax Crystal with a extension. I know some people ran a longer Display port cable.
  5. You adjust your resolution in the OpenXR Toolkit. (see picture)
  6. You actually have a better system than me (I have a I9 13900K with a RTX4090 running older RAM at like half your speed) and I get 80 to 120 when playing an instant mission P51D furball vs FW190 A. Do you have MSA turned on in the settings. I turn off all Anti-aliasing, due to the high resolution of the Crystal. Yes motion smoothing sucks. However with your system, I don't think you need it. I just checked and I am running DCS at 3684 X 4359. Do you have Turbo turned on in the OpenXR toolkit?
  7. Do you have Smart Smoothing set in the Pimax Play? Or do you have HAGS turned on?
  8. what are the specs of your computer? And what resolution are you running at?
  9. could be a conflict with some other piece of software. It should have installed without errors, I've not experienced this. Perhaps contact Pimax support.
  10. It sounds like you have everything you need. I'd install the Pimax Play first. Then when you get the Pimax headset, simply plug it in and see how well it connects. Do things in small steps. People normally get into trouble when they try to get everything working all at once. Kinda goes for any headset really. I've had my Crystal for several months and I'm on the team evaluating the beta release for Eye Tracking/DFR. When that gets released, DCS users will get a nice boost. Cheers!
  11. Hi Greekbull, I've been doing some tests as well. I found this combination worked for me. Power: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07YD9V3VZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 10 ft USB A to C Cable: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08GM3RCFK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 However, when going to 16 ft, I read it was a good idea to use an active cable. 16 ft Active Cable: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08FVCNX14?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details This cable didn't work as well and I noticed a slow discharge of the battery. For sims like DCS, I'd recommend a smaller non-active cable of 10 ft. Considering this cable is plugged into the power brick, it can be plugged into a wall socket closer to where you are setup to play. Just my 2 cents!
  12. had no tracking problems....... is this helpful. From my shortcut. "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR Have you tried any other games to see if there are any tracking issues?
