  1. Congrats!

    Congratulations to 373VFS_Crash!

Please enjoy the 12 months that you will have the trophy on your book shelf or desktop.

Would be nice to see some photos here in this forum once the trophy is with you and you added your name to the engraved list.

  2. How to add an XP Mode Virtual Machine to Windows 10 (or 8) using Hyper-V

Have not tried this, but like in Win 7, there is a way of running XP and software made for XP under Win 10:

"XP Mode was introduced for Windows 7 (Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate) users as a way to run software designed for XP in Windows 7. "

  3. Hi R-22

now I understand your dilemma. You would have to find somebody who gives away his purchased activation code and who will not play FC2 anymore.

Technically, duplicate activations (two installations on different computers using the same activation code) is not possible. Each FC2 installation generates it's own "signature" based on the hardware and software combination, which - as far as I know - is transmitted back online in the activation process. Changing of major parts of the computer hardware requires a new activation. This limitation was intended to counter software piracy and to deny multiple activations of FC2 based on the same purchased code.

So, again, I could sent you my code that I bought, but that would not help you as long as I have my FC2 installation activated. You see the problem?

  4. I tried to But FC2, without success.

I E-Mailed and the response said "We no Longer sell FC2".

Was Advised that Maybe someone from the FORUM could Provide Me the CODE.

My Machine is XP & meets the Hardware requirements.

I can't afford to Upgrade High enough for the DCS series right Now.

I'm no Freeloader! Just want to get back in touch with Flight Sim.

Can forward E-Mail Response from Support@Eagle.R.U. if it would help.

You can download the english version of FC2 here:

    http://lockon.co.uk/en/downloads/software/lock_on_flaming_cliffs_2_english/

However, it still requires online activation.

  5. Same here - I find it very frustrating when cockpits are not clickable...

"I fnd it very frustrating when the screen resolution is no more than SVGA (800x600px)."

Complaint by an unknown gamer in 1989.

It is a matter of expectations. 2D-games were OK in 1984, non-clickable cockpits were OK in 2005.

  6. You would have to study for some years, become a talented software engineer, and finally you would have to have access to the software tools of Eagle Dynamics which are used to compile files like .scn or .sup files.

Good luck, tell us in 5 years from now if you had success. :music_whistling:

The answer is: You can't, for the reasons explained before.

  7. Jet Thunder: Lead developer Steven Dobbs passed away 23 May 2015

Dante of the Jet Thunder developers team posted this sad news:

    http://combatace.com/topic/86175-steven-dobbs-has-passed-away/

"It is with deep sadness that I inform that our beloved friend and lead developer, Steven Dobbs, passed away this last Saturday, victim of a terminal cancer. He was battling this illness for a long time, which caused the silence and distance to projects such as this one, since he had a much larger priority at hand.

However, he instructed us to move forward regardless of his ultimate fate, and we will do so, to keep his memory and to fulfill his wish.

    Steven will be greatly missed."
