Been playing for a few weeks now and have noticed that the throttle inputs are delayed. With the engines on I have to move the Throttle nearly a 1/3 of the way forward before it registers any RPM movement on the EFI. It’s especially noticeable when trying to fly the ball and land as it takes 2-3 seconds for the RPM to spoil up by which time I’ve lost the velocity vector completely in the e-bracket. I’m running the left HOTAS on a USB 3.0 powered up. No delay in any of the switches though. Any ideas? Any axis commands I can tune to help with this?

Yesterday I got everything binded and working on my HOTAS and even got to go flying. Today however when I went to do my cold startup procedures I am getting ghost inputs from my binded Left HOTAS. The APU and Battery switches turn off, the throttles are moving all by themselves and other controls I have binded to the left HOTAS are just randomly moving. Any thoughts or ideas on how to fix? EDIT: I am using a powered USB 3.0 HUB

What a goon I am. That did the trick. As a former F-18 mechanic I started countless A/C and knew this to be the case but I was trying to do the throttle lock. Never occurred to me to have the throttle in idle before starting the engine.

Hi guys. Brand new to DCS and have ran into a puzzling snag. I got all of my controls binded and configured and everything appears to be working except the Left and Right throttles won't move in game. I have watched at least 20 videos on configuring, read many many discussion threads on the topic and still no avail. The controls page on the Axis commands says it is binded and when I move them back and forth I see movement on the bind key but in game when I move the throttles in the F-18 nothing happens. I even removed the device from my system and re-installed them both. Every other switch, knob, and button on the left HOTAS works fine in game just no movement at all from the throttles. Any ideas at all?
