these are my specs, I really love this sim please help :pilotfly::joystick: im getting horrible lag when alot of stuff starts happening, I can understand low fps that does not bother me, but the stuuuuuuuuuuuddering has to stop.

a program that turns off background process for this sim. I know that it effects this sim from what I have heard, can anyone recommend a good program that works well?

well I seem to get better performance in 1.0. after I patch it the game seems to calculate more or somthing its wierd, I get more stutter after I patch it to latest patch, I really want to hear what you have to say about that. lol just admit this sim has horible programming, phenom 2x4 955 oc@ 3.7 8 gig corsair 2x4890 crossfire X-Fi XtremeGamer sc

that is bs game seems to calculate more when you crash in the latest patch, if I install the bare 1.0 that does not happen at all for me, I have a duel core,

I have phenom 2x4 955 8 gig ram corsair just bought a new soundcard specially for this sim, that does help noticed the difference, what else can help with reaction time, I do have crossfire, should I try disable all my cores where its just one core? not even sure if thats possible. :cry:.

all the tweaking in the world is not going to stop the stuttering people are having its part of the game. thats all I care about, I can play with 30 fps it makes no difference to me,

I did that and it is alot smoother for sure, I think that was one of the reasons why I was having some stuttering also,

I had my res at the highest I took it down to the native res and the problem is gone now, wiered,

yea same here, in mp if I try to look around its if i loading? after that its fine no problems,

yup thx for the reply, in some other games you can rename the EXE and will make huge difference in the actual FPS. like arma2 renamed to fear.exe and I can get like 100 fps with settings maxed, but im not able to rename the exe for bs because the sim will not run is what im meaning.

just a small questions, is it normal when the mission first loads to get stuttering. when it first loads if I try to look around it will stutter really bad in mp, feels like it has to get in mem first or somthing. not sure, anyone have any ideas why it does this? I know that in some games you have to rename the exe. in some of my games I renamed them, crossfire works great, I tried with dcs game will not launch. I guess its just not possible with this sim?

when I installed 1.0 it works great, when I installed lateast patch 1.0c I beleive. I can really notice a difference in performance. studdering, had no studdering in 1.0. whats the deal. why is it worse with the patch. I dont get it.

I figured this out, for DCS, I have high end pc, fps was around 40-80. limited my fps to 30, smooth as a babys but now,

:pilotfly: thank you sir, I will try that but I have done that already, have fraps and it still goes up to to 200 fps. unless im typing it in wrong, ill try agian, thx, isnt there a tool or somthing I can get for this as well, it probley does the same thing in the cfg doesn't it?

I have searched in the forums, finding maxFps =, I have tried this for flaming cliffs and it does not work. does anyone know how to limit the fps for flaming cliffs? want to limit to around 30 for smoother gameplay.
