  2. I wonder if any third party developers might be willing to take on Just Flights Vulcan and bring it over to DCS? The modelling and detail looks stunning! I can imagine it would be a very popular addition to those who enjoy playing the South Atlantic maps! Any thoughts?

  4. You might be surprised how far out you think sense of speed should be. Things do not feel as fast as you would expect when up in the air!
  5. Are all the sites and HUD systems fully operational now? Including the backup for copilot?
  6. Hey folks, simshaker sound module and the "for aviators" module. I am just getting a constant buzzing atm with little else. Anyone know if there is an issue? Just to add, all tests work in Sound module, the buzzing starts as soon as I sit in the cockpit..
  7. Sepecat Jaguar, 100%. Also plane captains on Carrier for the F18 so you get the spinning arms on engine start and tests for speedbrake etc lol I think ground staff running around your aircraft while starting would mean so much to emersion... Would be awesome!

  9. Once you've had your butt kicked in DCS the world feels strangly dead without it!
  10. Hey folks, scratchpad has stopped working for me in 2.7. It still loads up, but in the map I tick the box then press the button and nothing is saved. Tried re-installing the files. Anyone else had this issue?

  13. Yep I agree with this. Immersion is all so important with sims like this, and the current A2A is basic, at best!
  14. I do, but I am certain the Wipeout is done and only then do the cat folks raise their hands.... It's a final check before launch!
  15. Trouble with this is all the folks who taxi round the deck with all light blazing lol... ED should have them bollocked by the chief for doing this! I agree though little things like this will go a long way!
  16. As per the title really, I would like to see a controls wipe check before launch... It can't be that difficult to implement, and the other day being in a rush, another player spawned and nudge my aircraft, no errors showed up but just before launch I did such a control check and nothing worked! IMO this should be a requirement before launch! My other request would be to make it a little harder to line up on the caterpault, with more accurate guidance from the ground crew. As it stands, you can be quite far out and he is happy for you to come forward. Seems to spoil the immersion for me!
  17. Because Ed probably has about two programmers overseeing the entire game elements. It is a bit embarrassing that someone can make such an improvement on a game that is not open source. Imagine if ED folded and people cracked and improved like they have with BMS!!!
  18. This is great, however, I do wonder if simple on/off comparisons is quite enough. Combinations could make cumulative effects and in that case the combinations could be endless!
  19. Come on DCS, your basket physics look antiquated and are embarrassing compared to BMS!
