  1. @Devil 505Just out of curiosity, what are you using for your controllers? I tried to map my TM Warthog to the Brand X flight sim, but I have a difficult time getting things to operate as smoothly as they do in DCS. Thanks for sharing the Intruder. Seen it, thought about it, but wanted to wait until I had conducted some research on it.
  2. It is now July 2nd.. I ordered on 30 March. Is there a Point of Contact that we can reach out to regarding this issue, and will they respond?
  3. Really looking forward to it!
  4. Sometimes my view in the cockpit gets a little wonky... Usually when I'm trying to look at a switch panel that's down and behind me, such as the F-4 or Viper, and sometimes during a spirited ACM bout. When the VR does go off center, and my view is outside of the canopy, my only option is to exit to desktop and restart, which is quite time consuming. (Due to work/ family priorities I *might* get 5hrs a week to play) Is there anything in development or already available that allows you to recenter the view, similar to how you press the spacebar in that 'other' game?
  5. I started having issues about a month ago...I have since uninstalled/reinstalled DCS. I now have sound but only while I'm in the cockpit. Upon game start, I get no menu music, but the Buttkicker is making my teeth chatter. In the cockpit, I get Master Caution/Advisory warnings, training Instructor, Jester, and voiceovers. But nothing outside the cockpit comes through the headphones. If I select the headset to be the default audio, then I lose *all* game audio. I have uninstalled the Windows Sonic Sound Suite, just to make sure it wasn't the conflict, and nothing changed. I've also updated the drivers for the headset. If it helps at all, I have the same issue when I watch Youtube videos. I can have the Buttkicker, or I can have audio. I can't get both to work simultaneously.
  6. Absolutely.... Numerous potential roadblocks in play. Just simply agreeing with the idea is all.
  7. I'm a nobody in all of this..but as much as I would absolutely *LOVE* to hear Mr. DeFoe make wise cracks about the Phantom sh*tte* leaving his signature around the Carrier Ready Rooms, as well as going downtown, and SAM City, he will need to live to the young age of 150yrs to be able to assist HB with Voice overs. But my fingers, toes and arms...are crossed for this to come to fruition.
  8. @Silver_Dragon @Bailey: As a single player, is there anything that I didn't list that you would consider relevant?
  9. Thanks @Silver_Dragon. I should have added that I play single player at the moment, but hope to progress to MP/a squadron soon.
  10. Planning on cooking the same tomorrow myself! Looks mighty tasty!
  11. Is there a current list of all of the currently maintained 3rd party plug-ins for DCS? If so, do you mind providing a link? Examples: SRS Viacom Voice Attack TacView etc? I searched here in the forums and on Google but couldn't find any lists. I play mainly single player at the moment. Just wanted to see what was out there that maybe I'm not aware of to upgrade the QOL in DCS. Thanks in advance!
  12. Here in Oklahoma, the NG uses them for dropping hay as well during extreme weather events..such as massive flooding/extreme drought. They are also used for combatting wildfires. A Bambi Bucket/Wildfire mission would be cool to see in game.
  13. @BIGNEWY @Chief_Bivand all- Problem solved. Did as Chief_Biv stated... Not sure how, but all JHMCS aircraft were placed in "right eye only" status. How does that even happen?! Thank you kindly for taking the time to look into it... Much appreciated.
  14. I don't recall ever being on the proper page, let alone actually changing that setting, but I will double check that and attach screenshots when able.
  15. @FizzleCan you elaborate on this a bit? I am having similar issues, and have very little experience dealing with the lua. FYI: I have uninstalled/reinstalled DCS in an attempt to rectify the issue and was not successful. I have sound in-game but only while I'm in the cockpit. Nothing external. I'm running Windows11, and a Buttkicker. Upon game start, I get no audible menu music, but the Buttkicker is thundering away.
  16. @Flappie Will do! Thank you!
  17. Not sure what happened to cause the issue. Was working fine up until a few days ago. I crank up the brightness in the respective aircraft (F-16/F-18) and it's barely readable, and right eye only. And it just so happens that due to an old eye injury, I'm left eye dominant now. dcs.log

  19. @Flappie FYI: I have since uninstalled/reinstalled DCS since my post above. I now have sound but only while I'm in the cockpit. Nothing external. I'm running Windows11, and a Buttkicker. Upon game start, I get no audible menu music, but the Buttkicker is thundering away. If I select the headset to be the default audio, then I lose *all* game audio. If it helps at all, I have the same issue when I watch Youtube videos. I can have the Buttkicker, or I can have audio. I can't get both to work simultaneously. Thank you very kindly in advance for at least looking into this. Much appreciated. dcs.log.old
  20. Wow.. I've tried to repair several times. Removed all mods and still no luck. Interesting...
  21. Just wondering if you were able to get this issue fixed? I fly in VR.. Pimax Crystal, but I removed the Pimax audio, because of the lower quality audio compared to Hyper X Cloud headset. My Buttkicker works, and in my headset I can hear Cockpit notifications/Jester/Instructor, but I get no menu music or any sound outside the 'pit. I have Windows11 Pro as well, and have my Buttkicker ticked as the default audio, w/ my headset ticked as Speakers for Game and comms in the audio drop down in-game menu... If I tick my headset as default, I lose the Buttkicker entirely. Everything was working great, F-4 menu music was going through the Buttkicker and my headphones, simultaneously. World audio, jet noise from passing aircraft, etc., all was working...it was fantastic. And then Windows Updated. Now I can't even get headset audio watching YouTube, but the Buttkicker is thundering away.. (?) I uninstalled the AMD Sonic Studio to see if it was the culprit. No change. Not sure what else to do other than uninstall/ re install literally everything...
  22. Even working a completely silent 'civvie' ramp, once the helmets were on, crews had no idea you were even talking unless you were actually went up to them. Even then, they had to pull the respective side of the helmet away from their ears to hear you at anything less than 10ft.
  23. Those that have sworn to fight, with everything they have up to and including death, defending a cause that is for the greater good... wil never understand that you can't just 'let it go'. Why? Because it's been "all about him/her" and what they can get from day one. The words 'selfless sacrifice' probably have never been uttered from themselves, or others speaking of them.
  24. Ordered my shirt on 30 March, as of 18 May, no joy. Anyone have a general idea on the wait time? Thanks!!
