  1. Just erase that whole section from the shadow layer. No need to blend if its not there anymore. Or rip the AO channel from the roughmets and use that as the shadows. Alternatively, turn all the shadows off. They are way too strong anyway.
  2. Find the layer that has that bit of texture and erase it or mask it out.
  3. Don't plan on releasing them? they were in the User Files section this morning. I had to kindly ask the admins to remove them.
  4. So were you going to give me credit for all the artwork you lifted from my skins or were you just hoping I wouldn't notice?
  5. Again, without seeing a screenshot of your work its really hard to make out what is wrong and what is going on. There is a livery discord for this sort of thing. https://discord.gg/GqaAGuGJ
  6. Apache roughmets use 4 channels. AO (R), Roughness (G), Metallic (B) and Cavity (A). Without seeing a screenshot of your work, I'd say you either messed up the AO or the Metallic channels. Both of those can alter how light or dark the skin can look. The way I go about making my roughmets I usually open up the default ones and keep the Red channel intact. I will then edit the Green and Blue channels to my liking. In reality if I'm only altering the material properties or getting rid of decals from them I will only edit the Green channel.
  7. Your texture isn't 2048x2048 so DCS doesn't recognize it.
  8. The culprit is line 203 set to true when it should be set to false in the description.lua:
  9. TU95MSBody_roughmet.dds and TU95MSWings_roughmet.dds Litterally all you need. But they have to be in the textures folder where all the default textures are located. Not your livery folder. Once you have them in the Textures folder you can add custom ones to your own liveries. Both of these are roughmets.
  10. Its not loaded as spec. Its loaded as a roughmet. Here's an ED secret for you...If the main texture is renamed to have the _roughmet at the end of the file name, it defaults to it and the game will load it as a roughmet, not a spec. Once you have maintexture_roughmet.dds, the game ignores everything else, even if there are lines for spec in the lua.
  11. Its a roughmet, trust me. Put this in bazar/textures/avionicscommon where the default textures for this model go. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xdftYaQB4D8-eXMsOul_zD7dgdHAibWc/view?usp=sharing
  12. Fixed the roughmets.
  13. I wanted to give this a try, and I figure that there would be a long wait for the shaders to recompile, but how much of a wait are we talking here? I set this up and it just hangs there forever. When I check task manager it says that DCS is not responding, so I end up killing it. Should keep waiting longer?
  14. 3rd submission: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3322127/ 6-17 Cav G Troop Liveries to include Bad English, Bad Larry, Ban Hammer, Bigg Thirty, El Cuco, El Patron, Meat Tornado, No Diggity, Rico Suave, Snake Eye, Tyrone Biggums, and Wanda. Thats 12 in total for this squadron/troop.
