  1. The exhaustion gasses hiting against the frame of the launcher
  2. Throttle idle is a button AFAIR, but I'm not at home now, so I can't confirm that. Anyways, in the windows game controller manager you should see extra buttons lighting up when in the idle position and turning off when non-idle.
  3. Do you have any ctrl/alt/shift/scroll lock keys assigned somewhere that for some reasons are permanently pressed? I assume you split the stick into zones with ;,./ buttons assigned? Do you keep enough room for dead zones? I figured, it's best only to use the top10%-20% of a zone and leave the remaining 80% in between clear
  4. on my warthog I use the friction slider. On my old X52, I used the slider on the throttle. However, this too was quite jerky, so what I did was I setup zones top 10% = zoom in, bottom 10% = zoom out, the 80% in between were kept empty... and I think I had one of the buttons there to 'reset zoom', but I don't really remember, it's quite a while.... Anyway, the point is, if the axis are too jerky, try splitting them into zones and working with key assignments for those.
  5. Am I assuming correctly, that this bug is still there? Because for me, this limits the game quite a lot, since I can actually only start missions from midair or from the ramp, when I use manual shortcuts for the armament panel. But this is not a nice way to do it IMHO... Also JTAC coordinate inputs, changes to the HUD, emergency procedures, etc.... all not working without appropriate mouse support. Also (I think due to softTH) in my case alt-tabbing doesnt solve the issue.
  6. Hi! I was wondering if the slew 'stick' on the warthog hotas is modeled after the original. I find it hard to believe that such a tiny little knob would be used in a real aircraft especially if pilots were wearing gloves. Could it be, that on a real live throttle the entire part that holds that stick is the actual slew controller? Does anyone know anything about that? ...and if my assumptions are correct, has anyone ever thought about a mod to make if behave more like the real one?
  7. Thanks, MTFDarkEagle, this was exactly what I was looking for. Not that I wouldn't have used the search function, but searches like button off, button released, etc... all turned up with hundreds of results. So a very little LUA "coding" did the trick and now I can use the APU switch for my landing gears. Just in case anyone is interested, here's the exact line: {combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN20"}, }, down = iCommandPlaneGearUp, up = iCommandPlaneGearDown, name = "Landing Gear Toggle", category = "Landing gear panel"},
  8. Thanks, but that doesn't really help me that much... Maybe I should rephrase and simplify my question: Can I assign a "Button Released" Event to a function, or only button pressed events? I guess there is a complex (LUA coding?) way, since the APU for example can be turned on and off, but apparently this works only for very limited inputs (namely, exactly those required by the default warthog layout). So far I have not found a way to remapping them.
  9. hi! Can I assign the APU Off Button to lower gears directly in A10? It's no problem assigning the APU on button, since this is an actual button, but the APU off switch on the warthog is actually just APU-on not-beeing-on. So it's not a real button to assign. I've initially undergone a lot of a hazzle to configure all relevant keys in TARGET, but that again causes troubles with the Flaps, since than again I can't assign buttons exactly the way (toggle down/toggle up) in the A10 Options anymore. So if anyone knows of a way to get the flaps working 'as intended' with TARGET, I would be happy too, since than I would simply go back and do all assignments in TARGET. (The APU switch for lower/raise gears works fine with TARGET) TIA for any help.
  10. I would buy it, but not via android app store: they require credit card payment, which I don't own. However, I've seen many apps that allow upgrades to the full version via payPal payment or similar payment systems. So, if it comes (which I hope) then please consider alternative payment systems to google checkout.
  11. In my case, I just went to my brother, logged in there with my account, he entered his CC info and everything was done.
  12. thanks for the guides. I'm actually amazed that I really understand what you're talking about. Especially the posts from DocSigma and nomdeplume... I think if I show these posts to anyone else in my office and try to explain my colleges what it's about, they will ask me if I'm mad. :)
  13. Ok, so there is no direct 'make the red triangle my way point' button, right?... :)
  14. 1.) thanks a lot! that really helped! 2.) how do I hook the tad to the location linked in the received message? I get the triangle and use it as a rough reference on the map to look where I have to fly/shoot at, but I can't set an actual way point or slave the Maverick/TGP to that location.
  15. Well, I'm running an old (~Year 2007) machine here: Quad Core: 4x 1.6GHz and on A10 I have no CPU running at more than 30% at any time.... Still the application is quite low on framerate (usually ~20, often below) on a brand new ATI Radeon HD 6870 So A10 is definitely working on the GPU a lot more than on the CPU... hope that helps...
