  1. Thanks guys. Lt Jaeger, I think you nailed it. I have a bad habit of leaving the air off. The noise annoys me...lol That's probably what happened. Reflected, I took your suggestion too. There's no need for to me to have the spacebar bound in a mission that requires frequent spacebar use. I never use it anyway. So, it works now. I had a ball in mission 1 and landed with 800lbs of fuel
  2. I bought this campaign quite a while ago and am just getting around to flying it now. Imagine my disappointment when I got the F-5 in my sights in mission 1 and squeezed the trigger and.... nothing. I checked my bindings and tried to shoot with the space bar. Still no luck. I backed out and loaded one of my own F-14A missions and it worked just fine. I went back to the campaign and reloaded the ammo before start up in the event that maybe it didn't load correctly. Didn't work. I loaded a Pair of AIM-9s and they did fire correctly. I also noticed some strange responses from Jester during startup. He acknowledged me in the affirmative after I put the right throttle into idle and again when when I turned on my HUD. Something seems askew. Any thoughts? No mods are installed and a campaign reinstall was done as well as a DCS repair.
  3. Upon attempting to start up the dedicated server it appears to progress normally for a bit and then I get the attached authorization error. When "ok" is clicked the program closes. I do not own the maps listed in the photo and have not used them in a free trial. Any thoughts? I am able to properly log in to DCS OB with no authorization issues.
  4. Is the Detent Calculator still being supported and updated? I'd love to get my F-15E dialed in perfectly like this calculator has done for everything else. I've got the Strike Eagle close but it's not perfect. Edit: After putting my mind to it I did manage to get the detent sorted out. I used the F-15C in the detent calculator software and played around with the detent location values. Normally my detent location is 31 with a Thrustmaster Warthog throttle. After a lot of trial and error I managed to settle on a detent location of 21. A large difference but it did work for me.
  5. I had to unsub to Spud a while back. Couldn't stand listening to him anymore.
  6. That video is like 3 years old. I've seen it many times. I'm looking for documentation for the changes made to the cues in the latest update. I'm getting the toss cues but I wish to drop in level flight. I select CCRP but I get a mode that keeps giving me toss cues. It has changed. Where are the changes documented?
  7. This....I can find no documentation regarding the new CCRP cues. The only place I have seen them mentioned is in Wags video regarding toss. But NO explanation is given for dropping LGBs from level flight at 24000 ft. It has changed (or it's bugged) and the manual isn't updated. Hasn't been in quite some time. It's a little important for us to get instruction on what's changed and not only what's just been added. Please, where is this documented? And if it's not please do so. I've just wasted my morning trying fly and use LGBs but can't get them to drop. Maybe it might be a good idea for Wags to do a quick vid on this.
  8. Thanks for responding. And no. The folder is empty. Thanks for responding. I have no visible autoexec.cfg file. I did run a repair this morning and there has been no change.
  9. I seem to have better luck by keeping their time on station to around 2.5 hours. If I let them go to bingo it doesn't seem to work. I've never tried a 90 minute refuel time tho. I set my wpts as follows, tanker orbits between wp1 and 2 for 2.5 hours and lands at wp 3. It refuels and then I have it fly to a new wp 4, near wp 1 at the same altitude you want at wp 1. At wp 4 I give it a command to switch to wp 1. Been having pretty good luck with this. But it doesn't seem to be 100%. Another way I got around this was by making a trigger zone at the end of the runway on which your tanker/ AWACS is going to land. You can trigger another to take off this way when your tanker lands. You could also trigger another one by setting a trigger for your tanker that spawns a new one when the first is below a certain altitude. The first would need to be an airstart above this altitude. Hope this helps. Good luck.
  10. You can load up a track file in VR and just let it play while you just ride along. I do it all the time. If you already have a VR setup you can do the same thing.
  11. Does anyone know why my track files are no longer appearing for replay after a mission? I've searched my entire machine and they are just not on it.
  12. You're the man! The deletion of the extra folders did the trick. Just loaded it up to check but didn't play. Like many of the other users you mention, I have never used the Prepare mission option. I write em, save em and play em. I take it you are suggesting the extra step of checking to be sure there are no extra folders in the missions before I play them or put them up on my server? I checked other missions but didn't find any with extra folders. I believe the reason I had so much trouble with Syria is that one mission was the basis for several that I wrote. Saved with changes and under different names. So it seems my problems were unknowingly saved by me over and over again in different missions. All on Syria. I had much difficulty in editing some of those missions. The ME crashed repeatedly upon saving giving me a Constant Table Overflow error. It only happened an hour or two into editing after the mission began to take shape. The save failed, the ME crashed and the file was rendered useless. It wouldn't load after that. Could the extra folders be causing that too? Thanks very much for your prompt help. I very much appreciate it.
  13. Track is attached. I also included the log for the session where the track was made and the mission file used. Of note, just before making this this post I generated a fast mission on Syria. The DTS upload was successful in this instance. CMS programs were not. I included the mission because it seems like something in the missions files I've made might have become corrupted. 14. I posted the following in another thread but thought I should put it here. I'm going to need some help figuring this out. Jumped in the A-10C II today on a MP mission I made for Syria. The DTS Upload failed. It was a cold start. Next I tried the same mission but offline in SP mode. Same thing. Tried a different Syria mission. Same result. Then I tried missions on other maps. Loaded perfectly. All failures came in Syria in both MP and SP in missions I made. Curious... Edit: I just went back to the ME and gave my client A-10C IIs full loadouts and hot starts from the ramp. The planes had their hot starts and full weapons loadouts when the mission started. A check of the DSMS page showed nothing but red. And of course I tried to upload and it failed. Even more curious. I thought for sure a hot start with a loadout would fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas? I think I'm going to have to move this topic over to the bugs reporting thread. I don't know if the A-10C suffers from the same issue. Didn't check. A second issue has come up. While attempting to enter programs for the CMS system it will not allow me to scroll left and right with the CMS switch on the stick. The program "A" just flashes a bit like it's trying to move to another program but remains on "A". The CMS failure came on a PG map mission.

  16. Yep, I will if the reinstall doesn't work. Thx for your attention and help.
  17. Well, it just happened on a very large mission in the PG. Is it likely someone from ED will pop in here and lend a hand or should I submit a ticket for help? May have to wipe it out and uninstall and download it again. There's something in there that shouldn't be.
  18. I will. Just not today. Had enough frustration for one day. lol Time to fly.
  19. Well, I'm out of ideas. Same failures in stable. I didn't copy and paste at all. Syria just doesn't like my computer. I've been doing a lot of editing on PG and NV with no issues. I guess I just can't use Syria.
  20. I'm trying the lengthy repair and cleanup this time... And if I don't get it working I'll try a new mission on stable. I tried it before but I was attempting to load a broken file and didn't realize it. I'll start from scratch again. Hopefully whatever error I have in OB isn't in stable as well. I also have both versions of DCS loaded on the computer I use as my server. Could try that too. Not the best machine for editing tho. Edit.. Didn't work. Starting from scratch on stable. I think the "map already has user object" issue must be referring to units I'm placing on the map. I used a lot of copy and paste and I just wonder if it's also copying the unit number instead of having a new one assigned.
  21. Maybe I should just try using the ME on the stable version?
  22. I was cutting and pasting units in the ME. Could it have something to do with that? It's referring to maps and objects. Don't know much about that. And no, nothing external.
  23. ummmm... nope. Just crashed again. Same details. dcs.log
  24. Ok thanks... The VPC mod has been deleted. Do I need to physically delete the others if they're disabled? I have created the new MissionEditor folder and have begun editing. No problem doing that yet but I was hours into it last time before it happened. But I think it's still not right. I was able to save a new scenario I was working on in Syria. I've only added a few groups and routes so far. While the ME did save my work it did not save it as a .MIZ file. There's no extension at all. They're just described as File and 0File. Photo attached. Those files will load in the ME. I had to change the extension so that they were visible. Edit: It seems I've been able to get the ME to save the files as proper .MIZ files now. After the mod removal and creating the new folder and a reboot of DCS they are saving correctly. I think. The effected files were a loss. Couldn't even save over them. Will let you know how the editing goes after I get deeper into it. Thx for the help.
