  1. 15.7 did not work for me in Win10, it stopped CCC from being shown. I installed 15.7.1 and now everything in Win10, appears to be working. Both DCS and BMS work in Win10-64. Frame rates are good at 60 hz, will try to set my 3-1 eyefinity to 120 and 144 tomorrow to see how it is working.
  2. Mark, I have no information on Sheldon anymore. However, Raider has started building sim-cockpits using some of the original parts from SC Simulations in Europe. His website is www.VIPERWING.com and he might be able to help you. Lumper
  3. I have a powered hub with my WH and MFD's connected to and only have to use target if I loose power to reset the LED's. As for not having working LED's I would suspect a USB port is not providing correct power. This is why I went to a powered hub for full time use. And if you get a hub, buy a good one, as there are some really cheap ones on the market that are not that do not distribute power that good.
  4. Garage Nothing that insulation, a/c (not a portable as they are useless), and an internet access can't solve.
  5. Smarter Showtime, I see you are getting smarter with bribing of the women folk when it comes to your sim pits. Keep up the good work. Juicehead, I know how you feel about Jedi's version of the AB pit. I have a 32" on my desk about two feet away and no real problem. After the super bowl, will hit Sams/Wal*mart for one of there open box flat screens which are usually a great deal. We picked up a 45" Vizio just after the holidays for less then half price for one of my daughters. I saw when they took it out of the box a week before as a demo model and it had been put up out of reach of most people so was in really great shape.
  6. Nice one with the AB pit. You really needed to look at the Jedi AB modified plans for an A10 cockpit as it seems to fit the warthog better, I think. Link: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=78417&highlight=jedi
  7. Thanks, someone always has to be first to test the waters. I did not get the update notice yet, but will be upgrading if it works for you.
  8. Qantas has had several serious accidents, but no deaths since 1951 which was in a prop aircraft. They have never had any deaths in a jet aircraft. They had several problems in 2008-2010, especially with Airbus 380's.
  9. The last time my group tried that was back in Feb 2006. We had the worst winter storm for that month ever recorded, but the few that showed up did have some fun. There really is a good group of pit builders here in Texas. I know most thru the F-16 viperpits group, but some are doing other types. Showtime817 is doing a blackshark and is on this forum (he has move from the state, but he is still one of us). Machinegun keeps planning on a Mig cockpit and he is in the Houston area. In the past we have tried to hold a LAN meet every year, but have missed the last couple of years in the DFW area. Several of the guys went to cockpit fest last year in Kansas.
  10. A good website to find out information about military stuff is www.viperpits.org it has been around several years and it has some of the best builders of F-16 cockpits. It is also great to find a local that is a pit builder like yourself. In San Antonio there is Sagrzmnky who is 40 years old and just started building a couple of years ago. You can look him up at viperpits and pm him I am sure he will be of some help to you. We have several builders up here in the DFW metroplex also.
  11. Since the ACESII goes up and down, I think you need a better datum line to base a cockpit on then seat height.
  12. Looking like the best that you have ever done.
  13. Welcome to the retired roll. Helios is a program made by Gadroc that allows to use a profile on a touchscreen that allows you to use the switches, knobs, etc. It is an more realistic than using mouse to click switches. There are several prople that have made layouts that interface between the flightsim and Helios and these layouts allow for button pushes for the mfd's and also download the video seen on the mfd's. The Thrustmaster mfd's are hardware that allows you to push the mfd buttons, but do not have the video are the center screens are not there. Lighting made a program MFDE (a program designed for the Falcon series) that allows one to capture the mfd video on a video device mounted behind the TM mfd's. DCS allows you to get the video thru a lua configration file again displayed on a video device mounted behind the TM mfd's. All of this is done to provide added realism to a sim. If you are just getting started into modern jet combat sims I would first become proficent in flying, as you become more at home flying, then start getting items that will help you become better. The first item of equipment is a good stick, followed by a hotas system. Because this transition comes fairly fast, you might get this item at the start. From here you can think of other items that make things easier and improve your flying, rudder pedals, track ir, mfd's, more monitors, etc.
