This doesn't break anything, I agree. But the floppy cover annoys sometimes and detracts from the overall impression of the cockpit.

The absence of the flashlight is really annoying considering there are no floodlights in D-9.

Agree on that, It helps a lot in F/A 18C, would be cool to have this feature in the MiG.

I also think that gauges should have some kind of luminescence applied. Will try to provide a photo of a 52 cockpit at night.
