Is there no manual for the Hind? I've downloaded the free trial and am enjoying the simulation of the Hind. But why would I want to purchase the product without the manual? It needs one. It's not a pair of shoes we're purchasing.

I guess the lesson from this is turn off your jammer when engaged with a M2000!

Here is a Tacview showing a 530D being launched by an AI and tracking and hitting it's player target despite the launch aircraft breaking lock and even firing 2 other Fox 2's after the intial missile. So is the 530D actually a Fox 3 and not a SARH? Is this a bug?

I'm getting constant Markpoint updates in Multiplayer Any sure fire way too turn it off? I've already tried the DL settings to no avail

Not showing for me either when I put them on the ME they don't show in game.

I repaired it by taking to a electronics shop and paying out of pocket. They offered to send me a new one if I removed this post. I said go to hell Ass***. I feel we as consumers need to know about this crap. Once ordered our money is gone...we've got no leverage with a company overseas. If you have ordered one check out the USB connection when you get it and please post if you see it has alot of play in it....ie wiggles side to side. I actually got so frustrated I wanted to shelf DCS for good and forget flight sims.....no reflection on DCS I've been a fan since before DCS was DCS (Flanker) Spending 800$ on a HOTAS system that you have to junk after 5months, well that's pretty demoralizing. Back to the original topic of this post which was the poor quality USB connection on the Winwing products. Brand new the Joytstick and Throttle came with very loose connections with a lot of play in the USB housing. The USB socket on the Orion Throttle completely came out of the housing and the throttle was out of action till either I chose to repair it or junk it. I did this initial post because I thought that Winwing did a very very poor job. I was left no choice but to put some scathing reviews on Reddit and the DCS Forums. This was my 2nd post on this topic >>> I'd suggest you email Winwing "info@winwing.cn" to ask them about this and that you're concerned it may fail down the road . It would be terrible if this is a structural weakness that's affecting all their products and have others go through the same grief as I am. <<<< It IS A STRUCTURAL WEAKNESS. The Socket is now Vice Grip tight. There is now NO PLAY in it. The technician said there was no reinforcement. Poor solder or soldering technique was used. He said he placed some extra tie ins to the board. Winwing made a mistake making it a removable USB connection and they compounded the mistake by doing a half assed job making the USB fit firmly to the Board.

Simmo; I'm not comfortable opening it. I'll take it into a shop to get it looked at and fixed if I have the time. Otherwise I'll have to order another throttle. It was ironic that while I was searching out Discord Channels for other Throttles to buy I came across your HOTAS Discord server from a forum post; http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?t=3132 Low and behold I go joint the server to research some HOTAS and I see Tony the US rep from Winwing posting pics of my emails to him on the #Winwing Channel. MustangSally; They sent me a picture of this 5$ part and said to go ahead and solder it myself. Sorry.....not gonna happen. If it was out of warranty I may try, but this is 4months old and covered under warranty.

Here's a link to what my USB was doing. It was getting worse and worse till finally it just fell out of the housing. Which other controllers out there have a removable USB? It seems they set themselves up for this problem. Now they don't want to deal with it.

I simply unplug it when I'm done flight simming because I use my desk for work. It's a great idea that it's a detachable USB but I guess this is the weakness of having that feature. No . If it was 50$ I'd still say no. Total crap. I have the HOTAS and I can't use it now at all. Very unhappy. Probably the worst $ I've spent on a product in my life.

I've posted a couple of times on the topics below regarding Winwing. If you are thinking about a Winwing purchase be prepared to not have a usable product 4 to 5months down the road. On my Orion Throttle the buttons don't work and now the USB socket has completely detached from the slot making it unusable. Pictured here. Does anybody else find that the USB connection is quite movable inside it's housing? It's like I took the 650USD and threw it into the fire. They're refusing to send me a replacement.

Just my experience; They sent me the part I requested that was broken....the grip on the Orion Throttle because button 14 was broken. At first they didn't want to without me sending the whole grip back to them first. They were adamant I send back the old grip back first. But they relented and sent me the grip after I promised to send it back. They did repay my shipping on the credit card I used to pay for the HOTAS. A bit of games though on their part....'oh i'll get in trouble with my boss if i do what you ask, etc' So in general I think Winwing is honest and not out to rip anyone off.

I'm having problems myself with what seems to be shoddy assembly and parts from Winwing. I bought the Orion HOTAS. While I love the feel and the axis works great there are issues with quality and build; 1. Button 14 which is the 3 way on the throttle. Didn't work right out of the box. Had to replace. Then had to replace it again..this time I don't even want to bother replacing it because it's just going to fail again. I asked them to look into re-engineering it. 2. The USB connection keeps disconnecting on the throttle. Both throttle and joystick have very wiggly connections. At first I thought yeah this is great since it prevents the pins maybe from getting stressed. However now I'm thinking it's just shoddy workmanship. The throttle keeps disconnecting and they don't want to replace it. They recommend I go to an electronics store and solder the PCB myself. While I like the feel and movement of the HOTAS workmanship really needs to take a step up. At least they respond quickly. Not sure if I'd buy this throttle again.

Is either of the guard channels working? ie. listen in on 243 and 121.5? According to the Harrier manual it should work but testing doesn't show that it does.

Is the ability to enter frequencies for FC3 aircraft still working? I tried it according to the instructions for the F15 and no luck.

Here's the track file. the first lock works. 2nd lock takes multiple depresses. the third attempt you see the tracks disappear from the hud when I depress. only when I finally use the ENTER key does it lock. mig29s locking binding.trk

Yes. More info on the problem; For Target Lock. When I first depress the button it works. After unlocking and trying to lock again it won't lock. When it is pressed the radar contacts go blank on the HUD. I have to use ENTER key to get lock.

There seems to be a problem with the bindings on the MIG29S...maybe the other MIGS too although I haven't tried. When in game the bindings on the Jostick / Throttle don't work 100% of the time. eg. radar lock, chaff, flare When I go into bindings I notice that it's not showing the Mig29S but instead the Mig29C. Even though I rebind it goes back to not working and I have to end up using the keyboard. Is this a bug? Thanks
