  1. Hello there! Was wondering if there is a list of which liveries the Tomcat (A & B) comes with as default. Searched for it. Might be an easy way of finding out that I missed. Thank you for your time BR/ Nick
  2. Hi Have the same problem, targeting moving target with the Lantirn, DCS crashes. Above workaround doesn't work for me BR/ Nick
  3. I’ve been looking forward to this campaign since it was announced! Expectations were really high considering how great the first Raven One campaign was. Expectations were meet and then some! The missions are very varied. For the first 3-4 mission I don’t think I fired any weapons other the odd warning shot. I flew the whole campaign in VR, it was super smooth. No performance problems at all, have experienced that with other campaigns. The voice overs are amazing!! What a bunch of talented people! Fantastic job!! If you ever need a swedish guy…... Baltic Dragon, Kevin Miller and Jell-O really raised the bar with this one. Fantastic, amazing job!! Thank you! Now, can we have a Tomcat campaign…? /Nick
  4. If you think you're in for a nice intro mission, you're wrong. You're off the deep end right away! I love this! Great first mission! The atmosphere is great, weather, radio chatter all of it!! Awesome job!! Been looking forward to this campagin for a long time. Feels like it's totally worth the wait!! Again, awesome job!!
  5. Don't know if you've seen this.. Great mission anyhow. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313266/
  6. Nah, definitely a formation landing.
  7. Never seen this one before. Either the LSO never waved 203 off or 203 never saw the waveoff.
  8. I’d say that the only ”unrealistic” in this campaign is that the casual chatter moved from the ready room to the intra-flight radio. The flying is top notch with cold and dark cockpit, checklists, comms, Case I-III procedures.
  9. Fear The Bones Campaign If you like story-driven campaigns this one’s for you, if you love the F-14, this one’s definitely for you. Set in late 80’s, you’re an F-14 pilot deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt on a cruise in the Mediterranean when your port of call to Athen gets cancelled and you’re suddenly headed to the Black Sea to help out the USS Valley Forge that has ran into trouble. You’re immediately thrown into action, with the first mission being a night carrier qualification and also a tutorial mission for how the campaign works. Most mission are air to air since the Tomcat wasn’t cleared for air to ground work until early 90’s. The mission are varied, from Alert 5 launches to planned CAP missions. There is a LOT of radio dialogue during the missions, a lot of reference to 80’s movies. Some might find the language offending but I think you have to treat this for what it is, entertainment, like you’re watching, or you’re in a movie. This is an awesome campaign and Reflected really raised the bar with this one. I really recommend this one! If you have the Zone 5 campaign, this is a must! Fantastic work, Greg!! Nick
  10. Have this problem too, seems you have to turn back over the deck a couple of times to trigger the yellow shirt to wave you forward to the cat. Might have to do with multiple cats launching aircraft and you mess up the launch sequence when you taxi forward on your own accord. Had this happen both in multiplayer and single player campaign. I'm sure you work this out. Cheers!
  11. Jester calls Bolter everytime I trap no matter what.
  12. Just finished the Zone 5 campaign by Reflected Simulations. It’s been a dream of mine to fly the F-14 ever since I walked out of that movie theatre in the summer of 1986. But since I’m not american and I have some physical disabilities that prevents me from being a fighter pilot, I had to simulate my fighter jet experience. Now I can go to TopGun, thanks to Reflected Simulations(and Heatblur and DCS). If you love the F-14 and flying it in DCS, this campaign is right up your alley. It takes you through a training program much like TopGun with increasingly difficult mission, starting with 1 v 1 to so many planes in the air that they create an overcast from the missile smoke. I’m speaking from a total amateur standpoint but the immersive aspect of the campaign is fantastic, radio comms, briefings by Dave ”Bio” Baranek, taking off and landing procedures. My formation flying improved too. I couldn't find any negatives besides that the AIM-54 seems to be "broken", almost avoids target, but that's not on Reflected Simulations. This is a solid 10/10 from me, I would gladly pay double for this campaign. Included are some pics from my experience.
  13. Finally finished the campaign. After playing Raven One by Baltic Dragon this felt a bit meh in the beginning but it really grew by the mission. Would have liked more cold start missions instead of just shot off the cat, better and more info on the kneeboard. The voice overs were really cool, had a bit of trouble hearing who's who but that might just be me. All in all, a great campaign!
  14. Greetings and a Happy New Year! I'm on my 4th play-thru in this campaign and I'm currently on mission 9 and encountered this loadout(see attached pic) Seems a bit asymmetric... regarding weight distribution and what not. I'm 99% certain that the previous times, the loadout was; 2 GBUs, 1 Maverick and 2 wing mounted fuel tanks.
