  1. Either 6 for ripple multiple (so 6 drops of pairs= 12) or 12 for ripple single (again 12 drops in total)
  2. Hi, I know it is still WIP and it may is already reported but I couldn't find it anything there. The way the canopy closure lowers the outside sounds is unrealistic. The lowering of volume of the external sounds heard is following a linear and proportional level, whilst it should have been a reversed hyperbola type reduction: In example (hypothesis that final sound is 50% from original volume) From 100% open to 20% open canopy position the volume should move from 100volume to 80volume and then from 20% to 0% open canopy position from 80volume to 50volume My point is that in reality even the half canopy be closed should bear any noticeable effect while at the last portion of its closure should absorb any sound it means to absorb.
  3. Use CDIP * Single Ripple x 12 x 990 ft * Nose tail and release above the threshold of the runway (keep it pressed) . DO NOT rely on aiming circle. This does the trick on most runways (it covers more than the half of it)
  4. My then girlfriend told me the same thing (4 times I think) and now we are married with two children
  5. Is there going to be any option for those who like the whole map in LOW fidelity? Within my trial on Syria -for example- as I have a 10 year PC , I had some serious performance issues. And I don't want to buy a map I would never use in MP. I mean ok let's buy the first part of the map in preorder and early access. But in x years time I don't want that part to be in HIGH and the rest 2 parts in LOW, I want all to be in LOW. Would that be possible? (i.e. in settings to choose the lowest setting on the map part you own?)
  6. Make sure your mission weather is set for altimeter 29.92
  7. Thanks so much for your replies. As there is no other option available I will go for it. What I actually need is to be able to fly smoothly (smoothly for me is at +35fps) and to see the high quality textures with some Antialising. That's all I need at the moment. Thanks again, Babis
  8. Hi to all. New in DCS (and this is my first post actually) with my old PC an i3 3220, 8GB RAM and a tiny GT640 2GB Nvidia... (DCS on SSD, Windows 7 x64) I quickly found out that my system is below minreqs or at least marginal. Single player, simple missions, 14 to 20 fps, max 25... Almost crap as you imagine. And this at .... "Ultra-low" settings. I want to see the quality I see on those youtube videos or near that and actually manage to play some multiplayer which is no-go at the moment so I want to upgrade those components using as a tiny budget as possible since I am a poor man. New system at around 700 Euros is out of the question now. The best CPU my mobo (Asrock H77M) accepts is the i7 3770K @3.5MHz , and I am thinking of adding 8more Gigs of Memory to make it a dual channel 16GB RAM, plus a used GF 1080 at 8GB. I can get all those around 200Euros which is my budget at the moment. (All used/refurbished ofcourse) The question is.... Is that enough? Is it possible to have a stable 40fps+ on max settings with this "new" setup? Thank you in advance for your replies and help! Babis
