Loaded up a mission at 19:00 as an air start. Light knobs are turned on but cockpit is completely dark. Even turning the knobs the interior lights do not turn on. Can't see the MFD's either and DED is very dim as well. Marianas map if it matters. -
Hey yall, I think I have encountered an issue with cold starting the F-86. Doing my standard start up procedure, the engine now stalls at roughly 20% power and does not spool up further. This also appears to effect the AI, which will begin to start up, but then not be able to move and take off even though their engines are running. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so does anyone have a fix?

In the interieur few "F1" the guns are mute. They do fire, but there is no firing sound inside the cockpit. In the exterieur few however, the firing guns are audible. I already deactivated all modes and performed a cleanup and a "slow" repair. The fxo and shaders folder have also been emptied. Maybe related: Viggen is missing some interior textures "engine nacells".

Hello, I wanted to test my F-5E in the Arcade mode (activated in options) I already assigned the controls, but when I wanted to start a mission, it seems it has the controls of the F-5E Sim. Anyone got an idea how to fix it?

I've tested the new Markpoint feature and tried to create 4 different target's. In my first try i tried to fire 4 Mavericks on markpoint 26-29 created with my TGP and i noticed that the Maverick is slewing 200m short. In my second try, to be shure that it is not a Maverick seeker slew issue, I used 4 GBU38 on 4 Markpoints also created with the TGP and also the Bombs fall short. Markpoint Off Target.trk

hello everyone.I've been flying in DCS for about 1 month..I have dora.I bought K 4 on sale.but the trackir cockpit images are disastrous.I can't see my back and surroundings very well.i have never had a problem with dora.how can i deal with this problem.

Dead DCS Team, there seems to be a bug that is month old and did not get fixed. Can you look into it please? It was not posted in the bug section, so you might have missed it. In the P51 Landing Training the tutorial does not recognize when you set the RPM to 2.700 revolutions. -
Starting in the air, pressing the AG-button nothing happens. No ground radar, no change of stores in SMS. Only AA works. HUH?! DCS version 2.7.7.15038 Open Beta What I do: 1. Start a mission in air. AA radar default to on. 2. Payload: 2x AGM-88C HARM, 2x external tanks, 4x AMI-120C 3. Set Master Arm to ON 4. Press the AG button. (nothing happens) What did I do wrong? Why no AG rarar, and why no AG mode? My setup: - HOTAS Warthog throttle & stick - Saitek rudder paddels - HP Reverb G1 VR. See attached my test mission: Syria. So I was flying on Hoggit and people were complaining being shot by "invisible" missiles fired by AI Tomcats. Initially I discarded that to human error (leaving RWR off), unawareness of RWR blind spots or just unawareness in general. Until it happened to me. The Tomcat shot at ~20 miles and immediately turned around to evade an icoming 120C. The Phoenix still tracked and hit me with no RWR indication whatsoever except for the initial STT launch indication which quickly ended as the Tomcat did a 180. Problem is, I can't reproduce it on single-player. No matter what I do the Tomcat launches in STT but, once it turns around to evade an incoming missile the Phoenix goes dumb. I tried engagement ranges between 40 to 15 miles with the same result. I have the MP track and the TacView from the Hoggit session, but the MP track is large (172MB). I have no clue how to run a MP session so if someone could try to replicate it, or at least help me it would be appreciated. People also say that it happens in the Hornet, but I was flying the Viper. I wonder if this should be fixed on the Viper side or on HB side? -
Hi Hornet lovers, hope you can help me with this strange problem: I can't seem to be able to move the crosshair on the SLAMer pod display. Been trying to get an answer on the Hornet fb page but they couldn't find a fix. I've been watching a ton of tutorials, followed every step, tried the realistic/unrealistic slew mode. Everything. But nope. it won't budge. Everything seems to be in line: Pod goes active, I get a video feed, the MFD is selected, I depress the TDC and try to slew - no response. The X stays fixed, the "designate" bar doesn't appear (as it does in Wags tutorial and others). It doesn't seem to be stick problem (have TM Warthog stick - no throttle) because the MAVs and TGP slew just fine. Just the SLAMers Any chance of an idea here? SB11

Hello, i am using on the same mission GBU-38 & CBU-105. Both gps guided bombs, and more or less the same release procedure. I'm using the TGP in Pre plan mode to localise the target, make a visual ajustement, "point" it with the TGP and drop my 38 without any problem. With the 105, same procedure but when i keep the weapon release button pressed in the drop range indicated on hud, nothing drops. Any idea? Thnks for your help.

Ts & Ps in the green, (warmed up, pressures in range). Supercharger lever locked to the throttle mapped to only one axis, which is my calibrated HOTAS, and no keyboard keys. On takeoff, it's popping and surging like it's about to quit, raspy sounding, like a Briggs&Stratton lawnmower engine that's burning oil and too lean on the pilot jet. So then I make sure my cowl flaps are closed. And the canopy. Because it sounds horrible. After that, the engine continually goes VRRRROOOm vruuughm VRRRRROOOm vruuughm .... and with every surge, the aircraft yaws back and forth, the nose pitch switches, and it's terrible to fly. This is a change I noticed from about three updates ago. The Jug has become a bug to fly for me, It's like trying to ride a crotchety cockroach. Has anyone else experienced this? -
cannot reproduce SC night lighting tanking my frames in 2.7

As per thread title. Anybody else noticing that the night lighting on the super carrier is tanking their FPS since 2.7? I enjoy night carrier ops and haven’t had an issue before now but in 2.7 my frames take a big hit, this happens in both screen and VR and is of course more noticeable in VR. Cheers D -
Hi, some of my controls keep being reassign and have to re map them after a game crash. Perhaps it a 2.7 thing because some of my friend are saying it's the same with the Anton

cannot reproduce FPS drop when using AGM-65D/G FLIR in VR

When using AGM-65D/G FLIR on the WPN page the fps drops significantly. The TGP doesn't have this effect. Edit 1: I just tried it on SP in mission editor and it runs fine. It was on the hoggit Georgia at War server where I have the issues. -

Spitfire Spinner disappears when up close in F2 view then reappears when you zoom out. In fact I also notice an issue with the spinner on the FW190 Dora, where (presumably) the LOD changes when up close to a general black one, and further away its striped or spiralled. Pre-2.7 I never noticed the spiiner disappearing, or is it just a detail setting on my end? -
when flying multicrew if copilot gets disconnected pilot gets message ' you have control' but no input from controls is possible. -
Guys the baked in reflections are shocking. Please can you remove them on the next OB patch - the Huey at night in VR all you see are static pilots and reflections. Add in the new rotor wash and you literally cant see out the windscreen at all.

I'm having some strange issues with tuning the Radio when flying multi-crew as co-pilot: - Frequency Band selection: 5 times out of 6 a single click on the the freq band selector results in two band changes - tuning itself: turning (via mouse wheel) the tuner wheel to change the frequency causes random forward and backward tuning, making it incredibly difficult (not to say infuriatingly so) to set a frequency correctly since even if you do hit the correct frequency, some additional random tuning impulses (up or down) will de-tune and cause loss of frequency - Once I have tuned correctly and ADF is working for me, the pilot's instance (on their computer) may not be tuned to the same frequency, making their ADF indicator not work. Is this a known issue and are there recommended remedies? Kind regards, -ch -
It seems that I cant launch any a2a weapon on f18c, aim9x, 120b/c, aim7, neither of them. I checked my radar lock, the master arm, and air to air mode select. It seems everything is ok. But I just cannot launch a2a weapon. The air to ground weapon is fine, rocket, bombs, harm, they are good. I'm using keyboard, i change the weapon release button to left alt + space. When I press the button, I can even see the animation on the stick, I can see the red button is pressed down, but no missile is launched. I also check the other plane, f5e, p51, they are good. I'm not sure whether it is a bug, so I just post it here and hope some nice veteran can help. Thank you! I even review the 120 tutorial mission. And I can't launch it in that mission!
