When watching a track I noticed that the "IAS" on the (bottom info bar) was indicating some 190 km/hr whereas the airspeed indicator was indicating some 380 km/hr!! Should there be such a big difference between these? I thought that the airspeed indicator in the cockpit reflected the "indicated airspeed"? I must say, in the above case the airspeed felt far closer to the 190 km/hr than to the 380 km/hr!! Would be interested to hear your views on this. Thanks

correct as-is agm-65 IRR Targeting Bug (Targeting Ground)
Darkxv posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
I've been having problems with the AGM-65 maverick flying the f-16. I recorded tracks of me demonstrating the issue. It seems the seeker likes to lock the ground below/infront of targets. Here are the tracks attached below The first, where I just leave it to do its thing and auto handoff the target with the TGP. Youll see the agm-65 does get a lock but for some reason its locking the ground below and skewed off to the side of the targets... there are two targets I fire agm-65's at, and they completely miss and hit the ground. and a third target i drop a laser guided gbbu-12 on. the second track, is where I do the same exact run, but this time manually adjust the agm-65 track by slewing it above/behind the target and then hitting tms short/lock. I do this with both the first and second targets, get direct hits.. and again drop gbu-12 on the third target. This is not the only case of this. I've had the same experience in other instant action missions, other missions, custom missions, and even from ground starts where i boresight my tgp with the agm-65 seeker heads. It absolutely needs to be fixed if it is a bug, or if its just me and my installation and files that need to be fixed then please help me figure out how. Not all targets are easy to make adjustments on like these. Instant Action - Precision Preemption - No AGM-65 tgt adj.trk here is the second file below where I manually correct it by targeting above/behind the target to get an accurate lock Instant Action - Precision Preemption - with AGM-65 tgt adj.trk -
I checked back a few pages, didn't see anything on this topic. When I switch fuselage lights on, it lights up the tail. When I switch wing/tail lights on, it lights up the fuselage. Is this backwards, or is my understanding of these switches the issue here?

Just flew the P-51 for the first time after the latest update. This use to be bad... I mean BAD, then gradually became manageable, but still overly sensitive. Now, it's as if we've gone back to over ten years ago. Did someone click on the wrong button or something during the update? Because this engine cooks off again if you even look at it wrong. I flew it in Max Continuous with the Rads in Auto - Engine ate itself. Then MaxCon with the Rads manually opened all the way... it ate itself. There's a reason they call it MAX CONTINUOUS. Using WEP? Forget about it.. the damn thing spikes to red line in no time at all. Can we get a look at this please? I've got videos of Kermit Weeks flying his Pony and running it through its paces at all settings - the man never takes the RADs out of AUTO and the engine stays in the green the whole time. V

Just to have a question or wish...there not have an auto trim on F-16C,it's a fly by wire aircraft and as i read on it ,all the series on this aircraft have a auto trim function. The cockpit is the workload in mind for the pilots.I never read that a pilot have to trim this aircraft unless the autotrim is damaged. It's a fourth generation of fighter...

Hello, I have noticed when pushing nose wheel steering button / key in the air (gear up) it opens the communication menue (#). Is this a bug or a feature? I´m using latest stable version. Regards, Carlo

The Manual says, Max. allowable time for Take-off / War Emergency Power (1.4/2700) is 3 minutes. When I test this in game, I can WEP the whole flight long until I run out of fuel. 45 Minutes pure WEP. That is a 42 minutes difference. Shouldn't something have happened to the engine within those 45 minutes or am I missing something here?

Whenever i pull my joystick stick on BF-109 in game, it never pulls stick fully backward. There is some kind of lag in elevation movement of stick in game which doesn't happen for joystick in real life. If it is matter of actual physics of plane then will you consider to give us special option to disable this feature cause out of character you can pull the stick in real life with your joystick but in character in game you are not pulling the stick which making it virtual and artificial. Do you think there must be option on controls like stick limitation override in su27 and mig29, It will add more user experiences like takeoff assistance which is already there in special option etc.

So I took off yesterday perfectly fine Then today I'm trying to play a user made mission, where you take off from England and bomb a workyards in France, you take off from a drit aerodrome. I taxi to the end of the field, lock the tailwheel, hold the wheel breaks. put down half flaps, put the MF to 30 and release the breaks and throttle up to 55MF. But even before I get to 30, the engine breaks, sounds like a lug has gone loose and is ratteling around the engine. I've tried to throttle very very slowly, but nothing works, before 30 the engine breaks. Sometimes I manage to get it up in the air but either I get almost no power or the engine just stops. And yes the Cowl flaps are open. I follow this guide to the letter. The engine just dosn't want to get to 30 manifold pressure. I've tried with or without the boost attached.

Hi everyone, I am wondering if this is a feature that doesn't exist in RL or that I have just not yet discovered... The question is the following : when you release an ordonance on one wing only, the plane center of gravity moves on the opposite and it tends to roll, something that you can correct by manually triming the plane. I am just surprised that an automatic triming function would not exist in such a sophisticated plane... It sounds raisonable to me that the rolling rate could be analysed by the computer and trimed acordingly after pilot action. Did I miss something ? Thanks

With the LITENING, I sometimes use the IR pointer (MARK) to point at stuff during night missions. I don't see this function in the current ATFLIR though. Is it something that will come eventually, or is it simply not a feature on the real ATFLIR?

...still is very unpleasant, like 5fps.

The offset cross of AAQ28 you could normally make appeared pushing the TDC depress when in ATRAK in the center of reticle cross does not appear while it is there in the stable 2.5 version….so you cannot move your first target easily to another place. In PTRK, offset cross does exist but reticle does not visually rally the shifted point when TDC depress is pressed after offset cross moving. You need to go back to OPR then return to PTRK to see that move on the cockpit display. However, the diamond and ASL does move immediately on HUD even without going back and forth. Hope fixing this in update….

correct as-is IA Mission - train strafe no longer working

Train strafe IA Caucasus mission no longer working. No white smoke and no train! -
In this short clip I had the bandit locked in STT. I brought the L&S close to the gimbal limit and switched to ACM (bore). Shouldn't L&S be maintained into ACM track? I used WACQ mode to re-acquire the target.

Hi, I got myself the Anton and it seems like the auto rudder is always on. When I land, I can see the rudder pedals constantly moving left and right. This is not an issue with my rudders, it only happens with this aircraft (I have verified that with the Mustang and Tomcat, both are fine). I assume this is the auto rudder option because the aircraft remains stable when this happens. I tried turning it on to see if the setting was just inverted but I didn't notice any change. I don't know if this is new for 2.7, I got the aircraft after updating.

Not sure if this has been raise before but for me and squadron mates, the P-47 is nigh-on impossible to wheel on. It doesn't seem to matter what speed and descent rate is used, it just springs up into the air as if you have hit a trampoline and given the majority of landings that I have seen in real life have been wheeler landings, it makes me/us think something must be a bit off here? Can you take a look? Sent from my SM-G780F using Tapatalk

Hello, I think it's a pity that the following buttons are already activated by default in the cold and dark startup: ENG FEED, C&I, AIR SOURCE, I think it would be better to leave them off and let the players activate them Thanks

After the last update, Litening pod zoom behave likes atflir zoom, like in steps, but in a "laggy way", not on the "smooth way" as it was before the update.

At the moment, I can only pick up fighter radar for contacts, (both large and small) from about 50 miles away even though they are hot. Before the update, I was able to bug targets usually over 80 miles. Was this change intentional or is it a glitch?

Am I doing something wrong? When in TWS (manual mode), the scan will not follow the TDC cursor. It only moves when I press the tdc designate target button ( I think it is called TDC depress).

Hi - coming from the Harrier to the Hornet, the HUD on the Hornet seems a little less smooth ... as if the update rate is 20 FPS v the equivalent of 30 or more for the Harrier. Is there a reason for this - am I missing a setting?
