Pilot SAI Cage Knob, command for adjusting reference symbol not working(LMB) Pull to cage /(MW) Adjust aircraft reference symbol A DCS-BIOS user reported a problem not being able to adjust the aircraft reference symbol. In DCS-BIOS this control is split up to two different controls, one for pulling the knob, the other for adjusting the reference symbol. "PLT_SAI_CAGE" & "PLT_SAI_PITCH_TRIM" In the AH-64D clickabledata.lua the command is listed as 3002. Changing this to 3004 made the command work again. I also tested this directly again DCS API and 3002 was dead whereas 3004 work. But looking at the -- Standby Attitude Indicator elements["pnt_619"] = default_button_axis(CREW.PLT, _("SAI Cage Knob, (LMB) Pull to cage /(MW) Adjust aircraft reference symbol"), devices.SAI, sai_commands.CageKnobPull, sai_commands.CageKnobRotate, 620, 619) it clearly states the command is 3002. (sai_commands in commands_def.lua) What am I missing? edit: Is the CageKnobRotate and CageKnobRotate_ITER doing the same thing?

reported U22/A Pod incorrect MOTVERK indication (2 issues)
Snappy posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
In the current latest version, after the big update, the U22/A pod doesn't seem to indicate correctly. In mode A ( silent recording) the MOTVERK light should flash to indicate signal recording . This doesn't happen. The light stays out. In mode B-E (active emitting) MOTVERK light should illuminate steadily (same as it does with older U22 pod) when the aircraft is illuminated from the front by radar and the pod is actively jamming. This doesn't happen. Instead the MOTVERK light now flashes in MODES B-E , when the pod is jamming. I attached a short track and its related mission file which demonstrates both issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- U22Ajam.trk ShipJam2.miz- 1 reply

Hello, Lat/Lon coordinates on TGP are wrong. MGRS grid and elevation are OK, though. See screenshot -- yellow circles are correct values, red is wrong. South Atlantic map.

I'm unsure if this is accurate to the real thing, but all alphabetical keys on the Keyboard Unit enter into the scratchpad on key press - except for one: the "A" key. The "A" must be pressed then released in order to enter it into the scratchpad. Startup Apache or enter a hot start one Wakeup the Keyboard Unit by pressing any key Press any alphabetical key aside from "A" and note that they are all entered on PRESS Press the "A" key on the keyboard unit Expected Results: "A" should be entered into the Keyboard Unit on key PRESS Actual Results: "A" is entered into the Keyboard Unit on key RELEASE

I assigned the Command Menu Next, Previous, Select and Return commands to a hat in my Warthog Hotas Joystick using a modifier on the stick itself. The binding works perfectly well the first time I use it. From the second time on, the yellow selection remains stuck to the first command menu voice, neither Next/Previous/Select/Return will work from that moment on. Steps to reproduce: assign the Command Menu Next/Previous/Select/Return to a HOTAS hat with a modifier on the HOTAS (e.g. button 4 on the Warthog stick) bring up a radio command menu (e.g. UHF) navigate through the radio commands, select a voice (e.g. "ATC Ready to Taxi" or "Ground Crew Rearm & Refuel") bring up the same radio command menu a second time try to navigate to the radio commands Thanks

reported S-300 has no mobile search radar
Buzzer1977 posted a topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
The S-300 (SA-10) units lack a mobile search radar, so a S-300 site isn't mobile. All other necessary units are movable, like the LID-B tracking radar. Would be nice to have a mobile search radar to reinforce SAMs in game. -
reported S-300 Missile Flight Path Issues
Shadow KT posted a topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
When defending against HARMs (I suspect the result will be the same against other weapons as well), the SA-10 consistently flies its missiles substantially higher than their target. Meaning the SA-10 missiles arc high, when engaging incoming AGM-88Cs (difference between missiles and target altitude increases with range). The delta can be in the tens of thousands of feet. I've attached two tracks (with stationary and mobile radars), as well as an example Tacview file. Hi all, Since the latest patch, if using the IAT to track a target, and another track becomes dropped (either destroyed or otherwise lost), then IAT will stop tracking the IAT track it was on. I've tried to record a track file of this, but the track replay did not accurately represent what I was seeing live, so I've uploaded both the track file and also a video of me recording that track file. Key thing to note in the video: Have both IAT Tracks 1 and 2, actively tracking Track 1 Target of Track 2 is destroyed by a hellfire, which after a few seconds results in Track 2 being dropped BUG: When track 2 is dropped, IAT also stops tracking Track 1. Track 1 isn't dropped, but IAT stops actively tracking it. IAT Tracking Bug.trk

Wanted to report this some time ago cause it really rips my ears, so when throttle is pushed to all the way to mil power when it hits the AB wall there is no sound but when its pulled back there is a sound that should be there when it hits that wall. Further more when it goes over to AB it will make the sound it jumped over but when it is pulled down from AB to mil there is no sound. F-16 throttle mil power stopper klick sound.trk

Current 2.9.3 build, default cockpit livery as-seen in the ModelViewer. Both left and right side consoles appear to have a glossy, almost wet appearance with a noticeable partition towards the outboard walls when viewed in shadow.

Hey all. I've just been flying with wingtip mounted AMRAAMs and I noticed that the wingtips are flexing in the incorrect direction during roll. In fact the reverse of what they should be. If we look at the jet in the picture above you can see that the jet is initiating a right roll. Notice the following things, on the upgoing wingtip (left wingtip) the leading edge is being bent down, on the downgoing wingtip the (right wingtip) the leading edge is being bent up. This makes sense from a physics point of view because the AMRAAM protrudes a long way beyond the wingtips and as such the centre of mass of the missile is near or even beyond the leading edge of the wing and and will naturally bend the leading edge in resistance to the roll direction. If you look at the tip bending in DCS with AMRAAMs fitted (can't comment on empty or Aim-9) its going the opposite way from above and to me doesn't really make much sense. Thoughts? I can try and get some screenshots from DCS Tomorrow.

Since my update to DCS 2.9.0.46801 the Supercarrier deck crew has no light wands during night operations anymore! See attached screen shot. The light "shadow" ie. green and red or yellow light sheen on the deck crew body is visible, but the actual light wand is missing. This makes it extremely difficult to see the deck crew hand signals at night. Any ideas??

Nowadays... "that" new glass tech still not being implemented. Also is more annoying than ever after 1 and a half years from the closure of the original thread and nothing has changed in no one WW2 warbirds. This full opacity layer is unreal and 200% put you out of immersiveness. We all know spotting in DCS WW2 is "special" but these kind of details make it even more "special". Flying in the mustang is like if you were all time in an eternal 06:00 am London Foggy day inside your cockpit (a bird cage model would be better than our bubble canopy), and the worst of it is when you feel it in an overcast map, in a scattered sky in summer time, at dawn, at dusk, no matters what is your relative possition respect Sun (light incidence) or in the FOV zoom level you are, etc,etc.,etc.,... ad infinitum. Meanwhile we're waiting this new tech implementation..... Could it be possible in any near future update to get any kind of interim official (*)solution? Just fadding the oppacity of the dds file in the ingame default textures file (as simple as that), please? (*) I said official before anyone would come and tell me there's a mod that works pretty well for him/her/it. I'm looking for an universal solution for all WW2 DCS users not for a local mend for a few. null

When cold starting the F16 could we have the chocks in as default? Might help in some situations where people have alignment issues where the jet has moved a small amount either by rearmament or a cracked open throttle rolling the jet forward.

Is there any information as to why the A-10A NWS is all jacked up? Been this way since install of DCS FC3. All of my other aircraft work just fine, just this one. Thanks.

Since updating, lasers aimed by other aircraft do not appear on NVGs. First encountered in multiplayer with a player using lightening pod - confirmed laser was ON and IR pointer was ON, did not render in my NVGs. Next encountered in a multiplayer server using CTLD JTAC. prior to update, CTLD JTAC had laser visible on NVGs, now it is not. Created a test mission with an MQ9 as AFAC lasing targets using inbuilt AFAC - confirmed that missiles tracked AFAC laser, but pointer never appeared in NVGs - tracks attached for this occurrence showing behavior in both MT and ST versions. YouTube video showing the problem at As a side note, it appears that the AFAC cannot hit the broad side of a barn in MT. All myhellfires missed in the MT test, but they all hit in ST. laser spot mt.trk laser spot st.trk DxDiag.txt dcs.log laser spot mt2.trk

Difficult to see in this VR screenshot, but: - with LOD set to 0.3, the center of the Apache disappears at a center distance. - the apache in the front is fully visible. - the one in the rear only shows the rotor and two (gear?) elements.null I was expecting to see the entire Apache at distance, though will less detail.

Since recently (somewhere during the last month), there is an issue with train tracks. They seem to now be interrupted every 1-2nm by road crossings, bridges, sharp corners, etc., and trains can only drive in these short sections. If you place a train waypoint along a longer section of tracks, the train will fail to spawn. This issue is also apparent in the mission editor, train waypoints that could be placed a month ago will now not snap to the track anymore if they go past an intersection. Attached is a mission showing the waypoint snapping behaviour in the ME between train waypoints that are not working anymore, and short sections of train tracks that are still working. As a comparison a screenshot from a train target that we have successfully used in the last months. Train bug.miz

It would be nice if someone could check and adjust weather (clouds) settings for UH-1H training lessons. This is training landing solo practice (clouds on ground level, airfield with zero visibility): Weapon practice training (strange flat clouds): Also some of the Caucasus instant action missions have weird cloud settings: Free flight (again clouds on ground level): Target practice (like above): Oil rig landing: This is a minor issue, yet these missions acts as a showcase for the module and it's a pity that currently they look like that considering how visually stunning DCS can be with the new clouds system.
