Hi there. There is an issue with the flood mode in the F/A-18. After selecting the flood mode to guide the Sparrow, the radar switches back to TWS after a few seconds for no reason, completely trashing the missile. Aim7 flood mode.trk

Hi There - almost 14 years ago I created the 2 Serpent missions included with the A-10C. I see they have been given some love with new Voice overs which is fantastic, but the New weather system has created issues for one of them. I've edited the Weather and Mission time on the Serpents Head mission to make it actually playable now, while retaining the Claustrophobic vibe originally intended. Attached is the updated mission. The tail rotor does not casts shadow anymore. If the engine stands still there is tail rotor shadow but if it has minimal speed, the disappears completely. That was no prob earlier. There where shadows all the time. Have attached some screens frome the actual version and some older ones. Actual DCS Open Beta: earlier versions:

reported Lock tailwheel control using axis does not work

If I assign the tailwheel lock to an axis it doesn’t move into the cockpit. Same axis works for other controls like flaps or landing gear. Assigning keys makes it working. -
Down below is a list with locations where houses are missing their roofs and where the trees disappear the closer you get. I've checked the locations without mods installed and a fresh repair. This is currently broken from what I can tell. If I have an AIM-120 (B or C) I can't select BORE on the SMS page for AIM-120. The OSB button for Slave/Bore doesn't toggle between these modes and only Slave is selected. I've even tried doing the training mission for AIM-120C on the F-16 and the part where it teaches you about this mode isn't possible to do anymore. I've double-checked with the stable version, and the Bore-mode is selectable on that version.

I don't know if this have been reported yet but there are no threads about it going back to at least June. While working on a livery I noticed 6 errors in the model that appear to be slight misalignment in the polygon vertices. Confirmed it is not due to the normal map or roughmet. Pictures attached from modelviewer darkviper livery with low light (late evening/early morning with nose pointed roughly into the sun so the light hits the model at a low angle.

I tried this on both Persian Gulf and Cacusus. I have a group of 4 BTR's out next to the airfield, they always seem to suddenly pop-in into the radar image at exactly 10 nm away. This seems strange to me when the airfield equipment that is of roughly similar size is showing up brightly on the image from at least double the distance. This also means it is incredibly easy to spot targets as you have an immediate before and after image as soon as you cross the 10 nm mark. Video and track attached. Weird A2G radar behavior.miz.trk

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this behavior so far. I'm on the MT client, haven't started trying to replicate this consistently yet so no tracks yet, an early inquiry basically. Sometimes during a mission I just randomly seem to lose my ability to contact anyone via the radio menu system, including ground crew. Even if initially I am able to contact the ATC for startup, I might not be able to ask them for taxi or takeoff after I finish the startup. And by "not able to contact" I don't mean like I have the wrong frequency or the cockpit is closed for the ground crew, I mean that selecting the options in the menu doesn't do anything, not even trigger my pilot's line. Today for example I landed after exhausting all my munitions, taxi'd to parking, opened my cockpit and asked the ground crew to refuel and rearm me. Usually I'd hear the "requesting refueling" and "requesting rearming" lines, which the ground crew either copies or says they're "unable to comply", but I don't get anything, just silence. Same when trying to contact ATC or AWACS, my pilot stays silent and there's no response either. This doesn't happen always, and never at mission start (I have so far always been able to at least contact the ground crew enough to rearm and take off the wheel chocks), but sometimes between a few minutes or even an hour I just lose the ability to communicate. Anyone else run into similar issues?

I thought the previous one was the same issue but it appears to be several issues from too long ago. These missiles are lofting downwards since the latest update and are basically rendered useless unless launched from a dive to something almost directly below. Something changed them because they were working fine before the update. They just go down into the ground. Two of them are passive radar, the third is optical, but all 3 are behaving inverted. I checked the hardpoint for other things like fuel tanks and gun pods, but they are not mounted upsidedown or anything like that. The track file provided shows a 25T firing vikhrs at first to test smoke lag, but later gets into a new 25T within minutes to throw some 58's at an SA6.

This has been a problem since the very first version of DCS World. Colour me shocked that you were unaware of this problem. It is incredibly well known in the DCS World content creator corners of the internet. I have attached two missions showing the issue, the AI doesnt even make it over the bridge one. No Scripts, just DCS Ground AI doing its best, hopefully now that we have brought it to your attention we can get this fixed. If anyone has simple examples of these AI Bridge problems please post your examples here. Try not to use scripts, keep the missions as simple as possible. BridgeStuck_01.miz BridgeStuck.miz

When in a multiplayer scenario, and you request control as CPG, and you find yourself in a situation where the pilot can't accept or deny, the blue box with the text that you have requested controls does not go away. For example the aircraft gets destroyed. To make it go away, you have to request controls in the new aircraft and then the pilot has to accept or deny it. To reproduce PLT and CP/G join aircraft (set to Pilot responsible or Always ask) CP/G requests controls PLT does not accept or deny Die (Apply mountain or ocean to face at high speeds for example) PLT uses Briefing screen (LAlt + B), and select Fly to get a new aircraft CP/G will still have the "Requesting controls" message forever until he requests controls again and is denied or permitted by the pilot.

The ring size does not match the target wingspan at the distance read from the scale. This results in inaccurate gunsight ranging. Su-27 has a wingspan of 14.7m, distance is set to 300 meters on the scale, yet when label says 300m the aircraft does not fit the circle. GunsMig15.trk

Will the SU25s get axis's for brakes any time soon? it's weird not being able to use my rudder pedals for the brakes on only this aircraft. is there a reason the real aircraft doesn't use an axis type control?

With all the case III recovery missions I get a "UTM FAIL" message, even if freq. is correct, but there are no issues if I start the mission from the Mission Editor (with and without saving). default mission: PG-SUPERCARRIER-HORNET-CASE III RECOVERY_UTM-FAIL.trk mission started from Editor: PG-SUPERCARRIER-HORNET-CASE III RECOVERY_from-Editor_ACL1.trk Anybody is having the same issue? TGP image in HMCS is way too bright, even if I adjust the image in the TGP it doesn't seem to translate to the HMCS image. Is there some sorcery to do this? I've googled/youtubed/chucks guide...nothing.

The AA Ghost cursor should be a "ghost" or mirror of the FCR AA cursor, to represent the position of the AA cursor on the HSD. When you make the HSD SOI and use the expand feature the AA Ghost cursor stays in the position it was last on in the display, which is a bug. It can also make the AA cursor get outside of the scan volume. Steps to reproduce: 1. HSD SOI 2. Increase/decrease, Couple/Decouple or Expand/Zoom the HSD 3. You will see the FCR AA cursor stays in the same position even though it's actual position hasn't been slewed AA Ghost cursor HSD bug.trk

Hi. After todays update I've noticed that CBUs overshoot the target by a couple of hundred meters. CBU 105 in PRE mode with TGP and CBU 97 in CCRP with F16 Viper.

Hi, see attached track files.AI aircraft (examples here F16 Blk50 and F18Lot20) have unlimited flares. In the track they dropped over a 100 pairs of flares each and showed no sign of stopping when I stopped recording. Also worse, aircraft like the VIggen, which actually need to carry a dedicated countermeasure pod to drop flares, are able to drop flares when completely clean without pod as AI version. Is anyone able to show/hide TSD threat rings since the FCR patch? Toggling the show > thrtshow > right mpd buttons doesn't seem to have any effect.

When I run the new DCS Server it fails to launch with DCS Updater 2.16.3.18 Can't run C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World Open Beta Server\bin-mt/DCS.exe: (2) The system cannot find the file specified. The path is wrong and and there is no bin-mt folder. When I run the DCS.exe from C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta Server\bin\DCS.exe I also get an error: Authorization Failed Authorization is valid for 2d 23h 59m. The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled: TheChannel. Then it disappears if I hit OK.
