I'm such a noob with those kneeboards, I can't understand how u guys use it

In the campaign by kneeboard baltic_dragon usually means the thing that comes up when you press "LAlt+B" ... but there's also this "K"-button kneeboard, which I find useless ... there's some kind of drawing of a map with waypoints, but it's so useless :( where will I see this kneeboard Zeus67 is talking about ?

It is the "K"-button kneeboard (LALT+B is the briefing).

Once the update is live, you will see what Zeus has posted as the first image when you bring it up. But you can also cycle through more pages using other key commands. Try to search for "kneeboard" in the input commands.

It is very handy once you get used to it and you can also include your own flight plan etc. But that's another topic.

wait ... the "K"-button kneeboard has pages I can cycle through ???:doh::doh:

LOL sure does!

Use Rshift-K to keep the kneeboard up (K is just glance) and use [ ] to flip pages. All the stuff added by Razbam will be last so it's easier to scroll backwards to get there quicker.

It's actualy RShift-K to toggle kneeboard on/off, K is just a quick glance while holding it. :)

You can scroll with "[" and "]" keys next to Enter, may be different for you depending on your keyboard (it's š and đ on mine :D), check your keybinds.

I find the kneeboard very useful, less for the map, but for the airport diagrams and info. But most importantly you can add your own pages, like checklists, even manuals. Anything you want, really...

edit: sniped ^

Not having to look at the f10 for initial position?! Awesome Zeus! I can't remember if the Mirage has bookmarks on the kneeboard but if it doesn't add those while you're at it :-)

Really cool and usefull !

Can you add the aircraft's parking position as IRL they have documents with all the parking coordinates IIRC.

And that, would be great ! Even though ED charts are a joke which suffer of a lack of informations and considering the fact you can't zoom in as far as I know making difficult to read small size fonts.

Ho, this is great !

That will make me stop using the F10 map to write down coordinates on a sheet of paper in order to do the initial alignment. :)

Thank you !
