I have trackIR 4PRO.. and i have the sensor on the hat, and "the head" keep moving around like hell. What i do the area moves around so i cant click the buttons and switches in the cockpit :S Irritating... any other that have had that problem? /Thx Dan M [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I have the secret porn from der Fuhrer bunker
Daze
So you're having a hard time keeping your head still in order to push the buttons in the pit? If so, I had that problem when I first got my TrackIR, it just took time to get used to keeping my head so still, but eventually I got it and now I can press buttons just fine. If you still can't get it then perhaps programme the TrackIR pause button onto your HOTAS so that you can look to say the CMS panel, press the button on the HOTAS to pause, do what you need to do, then unpause. What you're describing might be when the sensors are tilted so much so that the TrackIR can't pick them up, then the screen jitters and moves violently. I'd say to fix that you would have to make the TrackIR sit at head height and make sure the sensors are aligned to the middle of the TrackIR, you can check to see if they're aligned in the software Edited July 3, 2012 by Daze [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] First to Fight, First to Strike. dmagnusson
No didnt help.. Plus i'm keeping my head totallt still :-/ didnt help either :-/ I dont know what it can do. It's aligned in the software :| checked it a few times now and the marker is also moving inside the software, so it's glitching there to. I'm just wondering one thing i was on LAN this weekend and had the trackIR with me. If it might have taken damage in the bag? Because it worked perfect on the LAN /Thx Dan [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I have the secret porn from der Fuhrer bunker

Strut
Just some tips: 1. Make sure your software is up to date, you can update to Track IR 5 software, 2. Ensure no other strong light is shinning at you, get yourself aligned properly and have the camera set up at the correct height, 3. Have your Template set to "Smooth" and have "Precision" on, 4. Its only software so be adventurous and play around with it, its the only way to work it out for your self, short of a course. 5. Get rid of the Trackclip ASAP and get the TrackClip Pro.. or what ever is the latest thing these days. 6.Find attached a profile i use its one i copied off the Wiki sight a few months back, this is not modified by me, the one i use is. Have fun, its a great bit of gear, il never fly a sim without it....:thumbup:DCS%20A-10C%20TrackIR%20profile.zip Regards DL available skins here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?CREATED_BY=Strut Pictures of my Skins here: https://imgur.com/a/bOQyQqW [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64bit, Intel® Core i7-5820K CPU OC @ 4.50GHz x6, X99A GAMING PRO CARBON, MSI RTX 2080 TI GAMING X TRIO 11Gb, 32GB DDR4 RAM, SSD 960 EVO250GB, SSD 850 EVO 500GB, JetSeat, MFG Crosswind Pedals, VPC Mongoose T-50, TMWH, DSD ButtonBox, Pimax 5k XR/BE
Hamblue
Another thing to try if you have another problem is to view the camera screen. If you see light blotches then it's picking up the light from the winodow. Sometimes it shows even with curtains. Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Hamblue
When I talk about blotches I'm not talking about stains on the little droid unit. You should be running trackir 5 software (Even with your trackir 4) On the top right of the screen you will see 3 small buttons. Click on the far right one. This will bring up the heads up view. While in the heads up view click on display, then camera view. Now you will be looking at what the camera sees. With your track clip on you should see the 3 reflectors or 3 led's if you have the track clip pro. Anything else on the screen is interference that will affect the unit. Bright lights could also show and affect it. Now go back to the original screen by clicking on the left button on the top right of the screen. Click on the camera tab. In the selections you will see a line called light filter threshold. This is basically a filter to help keep out some of the unwanted background light. I have mine set at 240 but you can play with it to get the best results. Next you will see a line called IR brightness. If you have track clip pro turn the ir brightness all the way down. This will stop the light from reflecting off of your glasses if you wear them. (I had this problem once and shutting the ir light off helped) Also if you are wearing the hat clip you can turn down the ir brightness to once again reduce any reflections. As with the light filter, you can play to find what works best for you. Good Luck Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600.
