Hello! DCS is crashing when I trie to load into Multiplayer on a server where a friend of mine is the privat server. Singleplayer missions work normal (I created testmission myself in ME). But also Singleplayer missions made by Squeaky are crashing - this one for example: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3332912/ I tried removing mods (only used DCS-DTC and SRS) and a Repair without success. I was in a squadron mission yesterday and wanted to get screenshots but every single time I run this mission, I immediately get a crash and a log that says 'module-name-not-available.' I've tried deleting my mods, apart from the ones necessary to run the track itself being the herc, blackhawk, samsite, and 476th range targets. I've also tried running on single thread and multithread, with and without admin, and deleting the way from export.lua in scripts. I have no idea what the issue is and it's been happening with a lot of replays recently since the last major update in december. (the username from saved games has been replaced with oboe because i dont want to dox myself). When i have the sight select as HMD and put the NVS switch to either norm or fixed as the CPG SOMETIMES the game will just CTD, i have attached my log file when it happens dcs.log -
PROBLEM: As subject describes. STEPS SO FAR: I've performed a cleanup and repair, per the instructions. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Normandy 2.0, and I've cleaned out the FXO and Metashaders2 directories. I've deleted all mods. I've also sent crash logs via the built-in tool each time it crashes. BACKGROUND: Each time I enter, DCS crashes to desktop when I get to the first menu to either select a seat or proceed to the mission. This doesn't happen with any other maps except Normandy 2.0, and it's happened from the beginning of Normandy 2.0. It's unflyable for me, except it occasionally allows me to run the Train Strafe instant action mission in the P47 over Normandy. This happens in both VR and nonVR. Here is the latest log file. Any ideas about the issue?...there are errors in the log, but I have no idea how to interpret them. UPDATE: I was able to do a private MP session with my flying buddy, and no CTD. We were flying P47s on Normandy 2.0, over the UK, cold start. If I were to host on my end, I get a CTD. Don't know if this helps. Thanks in advance. db dcs.log

I recently upgraded my CPU and my mainbord and switched from Win10 to 11. After doing so I constantly experience crashes while flying the F-15E. And at the moment with no other Aircrafts. These crashes accur randomly, not linked to any event and on any map but mostly after 3-15 min flying. I will attach some crashlogs. Hopefully someone has an idea on how to fix this. Really miss flying the Eagle. dcs.log-20231204-171212.zip edit: I saw a post about a similar problem that had to do with the CPU overheating. I checked the temperatures while flying and it stayed below 70. So this should not be the problem.

I am reliably crashing to desktop whenever I startup my Hornet on my favorite MP server. By testing I could narrow down that this is triggered by some avionics being powered (generators coming online when engine start). With normal startup procedure the game will crash when the first engine (L or R, both same symptoms) has spooled up. If I switch off the generators before, engines can maintain idle RPM and react to throttle inputs normally. The moment I switch on the generator of the running engine, CTD... Happens also when not starting engines at all and connecting to ground power. After all 4 external power switches are flipped on and MPDs are switched on, crash to desktop. Hi, I have a lot of problems with dcs crash since september. My DCS was absolutely stable, but now, it can crash at anytime. I can fly with anymodule, have 100 FPS with perfect fluidity during 2 minutes ou 2 hours, and have suddently a CTD without any dcs report window. Some other times, at the first second in the cockpit, I have no fluidity (80 FPS indicated, but when I move the head with track ir the image is not fluid. Then I often have a CTD in the 5 minutes after. Same problem with multi threading (MT) or single threading. Of course GPU driver and windows update are up to date. I have a nvidia 3080, an i7 12700 KF, 64 GB RAM DDR5. I dont know what I can do, I have all try, repairs, cleanup of all my dcs folder... I use multiple screens, with 3 small screens with each MFD for the hornet. See my attach files. Thanks dcs.log

Dear Eagle Dynamics, Over at 4YA we've been getting a few reports of players logging onto our servers and either imidiately or almost imidiately. so far we managed to gather 3 logs all with similar errors (around) the later part in the logs regarding an ERROR wich looks something like this, 2021-10-11 13:08:50.964 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(woLA-17508865): velocity i'll also attach the three logs we could find with similar finds in the logs while either testing or handling player reports on our servers. Hi All, This is a problem I have with my 'backup' PC - main PC is running DCS like a charm. In my backup I had a very old version of DCS (I think 1.5) which I had kind of abandoned and last week I decided to re-visit by updating to 2.7. I have been using all kinds of tweaks for the settings I have found online, it is not the most powerful system but it still has a GTX1070 and strong RAM. No matter what I do with the settings, no matter what, still a few minutes in and I get a CTD, every time, all the time I am attaching here the latest crash log as it has been compiled in the system, if anyone has any insight I would be most thankful! dcs.log-20211120-102210.zip

Simplest possible mission (~1 second length). Single P-51 start-from-runway ("client") on Cacausus map. All mission defaults taken. Clean 2.7 install. -Start mission (directly or via Mission Editor, same result) -Spawn -ESC -> Quit -Fly again -> CTD crash to desktop Very repeatable, happened ~10 times, never not happened. Replacing P-51 with Spitfire or Bf 109, no CTD. Include mission file and crash log generated by DCS. Open Beta "2.7.0.5118". Hi. I cannot open DCS in VR after latest update. 2D mode works, but when I try to open it in VR the sim crashes to desktop (WMR cliff house). Everything worked well before the update. I don't have any mods etc. installed.

Choosing the aircraft jf-17 in "role select", then try spawn is cause CTD every singel time. Not once since my jf17 have work. Updates and reinstall\repair not fix this issue, change graphic setting to various different settings not fix. I am using an Alienware M15 R7 with Radeon 6900HX and RTX 3080Ti, upon playing DCS, the game constantly crashes to desktop after 5 or 10 minutes. I have tried rebooting the OS, using DDU and clean installing graphic drivers, clean and repair DCS files, using Nvidia debug mode, redownloading DCS World, undervolting both processor and graphics card but to no avail. I have also allocated page file up to 64Gb. Hello, After only a minute or 2 of flying, the latest version of Open Beta (latest version as of today, 8/16/23) crashes to desktop. I've run the 'slow' file repair a couple of times, scf scannow (no issues), updated my 3090 to the latest driver but the problem persists. Attached is the last log created. If anyone has some suggestions on how I might resolve the issue, I look forward to hearing from you. DCS has been unusable for many months due to this problem.Thank you! dcs.log

As the thread title suggests - using Jester to tune TAC for the radio causes a CTD. I've had this happen quite frequently. Only occurs when I tune TAC the radio frequency. Others have reported this a long time ago too. See linked threads at the bottom. When this crash occurs DCS maxes the memory usage. I have 32GB of RAM with a 110GB pagefile. DCS had maxed both of them before taking Windows down with it! I had to take a picture with my phone because there wasn't enough memory to take a print screen! Log file attached. dcs.log

Hi everyone, When attempting to jettison weapons on the Mi8 the game crashes to the desktop. The video recording is attached. What I've tried: Remove all add-ons (no effect) Cleanup and repair DCS (no effect) Steps to reproduce: Create a mission in the Caucasus with a single Mi8 (Ramp start hot) Add weapons to Mi8 (use video for reference) Start mission and jettison weapons Expected: Weapons are jettisoned Actual: The game crashes to desktop. Hi all, Started getting random CTD. It can happen when loading into a server or it can happen randomly while I am in a cruise, no real pattern. I've not had CTD for years and my system hasn't changed. Files have been verified.
