I'm a bit surprised no one has mentioned this yet Honestly, I can't imagine the CH-47 (just like the C-130) without partroopers. I think that this option is one of the basic functions of this helicopter and has been used many times in conflicts or special forces operations. It's like making a rescue SeaHawk without the ability to lower the diver . Pls add this option for DCS and CH-47.

For some reason, even on resetting the keyboard category to 'default' there are bindings that have the red circle with the white apostrophe. However these are buried in individual categories or aircraft. It would be nice to have a category of 'BINDING ERRORS' that groups all of them, from all units, into one place to sort them out, instead of hunting around, esp as the number of modules keeps increasing.

All up to date with updates on headset and DCS. In the previous DCS releases (before the Quest 3 break from Oculus) I randomly experienced a laggy and very blocky right eye. Hard rebooting the headset did nothing; only quitting and restarting DCS fixed the issue. Now, today, I've had it happen twice. Could this please get investigated? I'm happy to help in any way, but it **is** intermittent - no idea what is causing it. It's happened in multiple aircraft, on multiple servers...

Greetings, The Virtual Airforce (VAF) is a virtual fighter squadron that operates in DCS. We are a milsim-lite group focused on multi-airframe operations and camaraderie. Our well-established European wing boasts an average member age of 30+, creating a mature environment. VAF currently has operational squadrons flying the F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV8B. We recently opened a dedicated F-4E Phantom II squadron as well. Twice weekly, these squadrons conduct a mix of formal training and operational deployments. ciao I am having troubles in loading the campaign. whenever i start a mission (expecially the 2nd and third), several times the screen goes blank and I have to quit DCS manually. in attachment the log file, where there are several errors. please advise DCS @stable relase , not modded, VR. dcs.log

Hello people, I haven't entered DCS for a while and when I enter the A10CII everything works, the radio is giving me problems. When I try to ask the tower for permission, I cannot hear myself nor do I hear the tower's response. I can't read the subtitles of the message either. I have tried the A10C module as well and it fails. I use the official version, not the beta. I don't know if it's an error or if it's some update that I don't know about. I have tried a thousand things but nothing let's see if anyone has an idea where the error is. Thank you very much in advance

Bonjour, je me présente. Feauxe, je suis un petit moddeur sur Dcs qui a comme projet de réalisé le grandiose Dassault MirageIV. Je viens ici pour demander un coup de pouce si certains sont assez calé dans le domaine. Le coucou a donc son modèle 3D fait par ma main, des textures et tout ce qui graphiquement sont nécessaire pour l'instant. Le problème étant que le MirageIV en question est déjà posé sur une base d'EFM. Mais voila, je suis une brèle pour codé un EFM et donc je cherche quelqu'un qui bénévolement est assez fou et attiré par mon projet pour pouvoir taffé sur un EFM et occasionnellement sur le MirageIV avec moi. Hi, I am a new Aero user (posted my First Impressions last week) and so far I am really happy with it. But, I enjoy tweaking to achieve the best results. I am currently using Varjo-Foveated for DFR and it's working great. However, it's incompatible with Open XR Toolkit, and I miss some of the features it provided, such as the nicer (IMO) FPS/Latency display, post-processing tweaking, etc. Supposedly, switching to Quad-Views-Foveated instead of Varjo-Foveated allows the continued use of Open XR Toolkit. Before I mess with a working configuration, I wanted to check if anyone is using Quad-Views-Foveated for DFR with the Aero and confirm that OXRTK does indeed work. And, if so - did anyone notice any performance difference (good or bad)? I noticed some time ago that the canopy ejection on aircraft is usually incorrect. It ejects upwards/forward rather than backwards out of the way. The result in DCS is in most cases that the canopy blown away would hit/ nearly miss the pilot getting out. It seems all aircraft in DCS have the exact same ejection pattern. I know it's nit-picking but an important detail in my opinion. Sup So, recently trialed the F-14B and attempted to start up a instant action, It loads almost everything past halfway but when it tries to pre-load something, it will stop responding, I don't even get a crash log. I also tried campaign, multiplayer, etc. Does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

12/16/22 Preface: In this Friday's OpenBeta update, the easy coding fixes have been added for the P-51, 190s, Spitfire, 109, and 47. However, the Mosquito has been missed. Additionally, the armor plates that are missing from DCS entirely haven't yet been included. Items that were fixed in the 12/16 OpenBeta update will be highlighted in green, and marked with the update date. TL;DR: Many warbirds have incorrect armor values, or are missing armor. If you open the x-ray.edm in the Modelviewer, and the individual aircraft's Lua, you can see the IDs from the Modelviewer and see what those objects' properties are. Please click on the photos here, as while I've minimized them in this post so it doesn't get cluttered, but if you click on them you will see them in better resolution. The P-51D (INCORRECT): [FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]The headrest and seat back armor (aka XArmor01 and XArmor00) - If we open Aircorps Library and look at the drawings for the late P-51D, like ours, we will see that these are two pieces of armor welded together. The headrest being 7/16", or 11mm...and the seat back being 5/16", or 8mm thick. Meanwhile in DCS, it is given a thickness of 22mm! For both plates! Almost three times the value of most of the area of the armor. I have an idea on how this value came to be, but I'll drop it into the spoiler below: [FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]The armored glass (aka XArmor02) - In DCS, it is given a thickness of 75mm. Using the schematics from Aircorps Library, we can again see that it is 1.5" thick, or 38mm. [FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]The instrument panel (aka XCockpitElement02) - In DCS, this is given a thickness of just 1mm! In truth, the instrument panel is a part that's for once, thicker in truth, coming out to 0.128", or 3.25mm. [FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]The firewall (aka XArmor03) - This is given a value of 12mm in DCS, or just a scratch under 1/2". For our 51D, it appears that a more possible value would've been 1/4", or 6.35mm. The P-51D (MISSING): The coolant header tank armor - This is a piece of armor that has been missing from the Mustang's damage model. It is 1/4" thick, or 6.35mm, and lies just forward of the coolant header tank within the engine nacelle, between the coolant header tank and the spinner. In summary for the P-51: -[FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]Change XArmor00 from 0.022 to 0.008 -[FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]Change XArmor01 from 0.022 to 0.011 -[FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]Change XArmor02 from 0.075 to 0.038 -[FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]Change XArmor03 from 0.012 to 0.00635 -[FIXED: DEC 16, 2022]Change XCockpitElement02 from 0.001 to 0.00325 -Add coolant header tank armor. Hello everyone, The DCS P-47 is very well done. However, improvements to the module will always attract more consumers. So, there are some inaccuracies apparent in the DCS P-47D cockpit. My Background: I have been involved at the CAF for 7 years. Specifically, CAF SoCal Wing. Have spoken and worked with vets from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and friend of during this period. We also have a private library with hundreds of technical manuals and documents. With this, I provide only precise information with my findings. For the DCS P-47, there are 4 features missing that I would like to bring forth. 1. The P-47D-30 with gyro sight features a dimmer knob and sight selector on the same unit. The same unit left of the DCS P-51D K-14 gyro sight as well. The DCS P-47D is missing this control unit on the right thigh panel. Picture: (4th photo) 2. Tail Warning Radar – same as DCS P-51D (Field mod). The light and bell are located left of the K-14 sight in the P-47D-40 (Only model with evidence). The control unit for the field mod is located behind the IFF destructor box. Picture on unit in cockpit: (2nd photo) Picture of unit for proof on P-47N manual: (3rd photo) 3. Rear View Mirror – in the form of: plexiglass on canopy, truck mirror reused on front canopy, dedicated mirror inside cockpit. Field mod. This was more favorable than the tail radar. Not every P-47 had this, but experienced pilots knew the mirror was important. -Picture of Variations are included: (1st, 6th, 7th) 4. Pilot Headrest – this should be factory. Pictures provided. Again, the module is very well done and it’s obvious the developers have created a warbird module never done as accurately and precisely as this depicted. However, improvement is always a beneficial virtue to seek and so I believe these additions will only make DCS stronger in WWII. Thank you all, Rob

My graphics card has low frames(60,42 and 24 very quickly). I don't know how to fix it. I try to change the "graphics.lua", I change the default settings from Dcs without success. GTX1080 is too old? I cannot fly anymore. My current settings: On the top left very small(frames) and on the right side my PC(Low FPS):

I've ran into problems trying to us the touch controller; mainly being that DCS won't let me set controls on the touch controller. This has been a issue for me because the rest of the game works great with the Quest 2. I've tried all sorts of things but time and time again its amounted to nothing. These problems can be shown in the instance that I can operate the UH-1H and F/A-18C BUT my rudder does not work on the UH-1H although works perfectly normal on the F/A-18C. The default control for the F/A-18C is the "Joystick" attached to the quest 2 controller; particularly the right one. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the Oculus Quest 2 touch controller not key bindings?
