WEW Lads are looking for new members!!! We understand that life is a priority and don't expect you to give up your life when joining our squad. We don't make our members remember manuals or watch slides as we are all adults and have other things to take care of. If you do wish to join the group keep please the time zone in mind as well as the following rules. Take Missions seriously and don't purposely throw the mission. While we are not a full blown realism unit, we would still qualify us as MilSim. Our playstyle is set up for people who want to fly a realistic campaign in DCS without joining a full blown realism unit. You will be expected to talk on the radio relatively correctly and to take the scenarios seriously. We will not have a rank structure nor a chain of command. Mods are simply around to moderate, not to boss you around. Before joining the Campaign please pick an aircraft you are willing to fully commit to. This should be an aircraft that you are either willing to learn or are already proficient in. This aircraft should also be something that you are willing to fly for the main campaigns in the group. Due to the nature of DCS we would prefer people to stick to an aircraft. That being said, there will be opportunities in fun events/side missions for people to fly other aircraft, as well as different campaigns that may require different aircraft. You will not be allowed to fly in the campaign unless you picked an aircraft ahead of time. Before playing the campaign with us you must complete a check flight. This is not a daunting task and we don't want to fail you. We just want to know that you are confident enough in your airframe to fly in a mission. We require an attendance rate of 2 Ops per month. If you do not meet this rate you will be removed from the group. There are obvious exceptions to this such as family issues/a college class that got scheduled for that time. We are not expecting you to sacrifice your real life for this group, but you joined the group to play, so play. People who have just joined and have not passed their check flight have 1 week to at least attempt a check flight (if no one can do your check flight in that week for some reason an exception will be made) if you do not pass this check flight, the week resets. Hola, Tengo este problema que no sé como resolver. Después de usar el F14 en VR, sin problemas, he vuelto a usarlo en monitor, y ahora tanto en el teclado num5, como en la asignación del joystick, centrar la vista no funciona. He reinstalado el módulo, he verificado los archivos, el borrado el archivo snapviews, he explorado archivos y archivos buscando el problema, leído y releído post sobre bugs y vistas, pero nada, no doy con el. Funciona perfecto en todos los demás módulos que tengo, tanto en el joy como en teclado. Por favor, ayuda. Muchas gracias. -SOLUCIONADO, la asignación es, CENTRAR VISIÓN.-

CARRIER AIR WING stands up within RAFAIR UK with 3 primary Naval Air Squadrons and 1 secondary Expeditionary detachment. A carrier air wing (abbreviated CVN in the US but CAW within RAFAirUK) is an operational naval aviation wing composed of several aircraft squadrons and detachments of various types of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Organised, equipped and trained to conduct modern Navy carrier air operations while embarked aboard aircraft carriers, the various squadrons in an air wing have different but complementary (and sometimes overlapping) missions, and provide most of the striking power and electronic warfare capabilities of a carrier strike group CSG. CAW ETHOS New pilots of any experience are welcomed with the only requisites being enthusiasm, time, ability to cold start, take off and land safely (runway) within Openbeta build & the Super Carrier module. You will be expected to engage in a facilitative mentored training programme. It would be advantageous to have PG & Syria terrain maps. Our aim s to promote esprit de corps and assistance to one another in learning the roles and technical aspects of these exceptional aircraft.... all in an enjoyable and friendly hobby environment. In missions we fly formerly with NATOP procedures without the bull and in training there is plenty of craic!. CAW SQUADRONS 809NAS is equipped with F4A/B 892NAS is equipped with F18C 727NAS is a training SQN with the very capable free T45C CAW Expeditionary unit with AV8BNA. UH1h, Mi-17 & UL60 Pilots are encouraged to qualify and remain current in 2 or more operational airframes but there is no compulsion. All Squadrons wherever possible train and fight from the same carrier and tactically support one another when possible or planned.… decks are busy! TRAINING PROGRESSION Competency based syllabuses for the F18 & F14 have self driven pathways with plenty of mentors. All pilots joining CAW spend some time in 727, even experienced pilots (albeit that time may well be very short and is mainly a clarification of carrier recovery skills) The T45, a dual seat carrier capable trainer is used for basic flying skills training and in the intro phases of low level tactical initial BFM. CARRIERS & MAPS USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) USS SAIPAN (LH2) and USS Forrester are used so the SC module is required. Syria and Persian Gulf are used as well as DCS Caucasus and Marianas but not a requirement, if not held then some missions will simply not be available. All training is on default maps. MISSIONS Mission nights are normally Tuesday when we fly will all the other Squadrons of RAFAir and Thursday which is a mixture of training and CAW missions. Pilots are often active on most evenings, sometime, somewhere Timings are around 19:30(UK) to 21:30 RAFAir have 4 24/7 servers available to all. F-14: Destroy or damage ground targets with A-A weapons.

null This loadout is one of my go-to for crowded places with lots of light targets and some SAM threat which I can fly over, Rapier sites in this case 8000m / 26k feet for safety. I dropped my GBU-16's on the two sites and took out the remaining 4x ZSU-23-4 by dropping Mk-82 bombs as normal while in a slight dive, almost loosing a wing from the AAA fire. However when I expended my remaining 670+ rounds of AP/HE 20mm I still had 3x BMP-1/2 left. I figured I had enough skill to aim my ADL on the target at a 40* dive and boresight the missiles (I fired my 2 AIM-9's too but they went up and much more spread to the sides of the ADL. The AIM-54 Phoenix however did a great straight line for the target a bit under my ADL, (I aimed for the empty area between the two units). First try ever doing it because I saw somebody do a similar thing to boats or a crowded factory with light vehicles. A BMP-1 is hard to crack with the 20mm unless you come straight from above and waste 100 rounds or so. The reason for posting this is if anybody has any similar experiences or funny air-to-air-air-to-ground experiments. If this topic already exists and is alot wider than the F-14 I understand but without my AIM-54 I would have gone home one less enemy down and not as happy as I am that I tried. null -
Hey Guys I added 2 things to the script for the F14 VID and HSD. It's just that the screens from the F14 are too dark, everything is great on the F18 (brightness in the cockpit at the highest level)

Hello, I would like to ask if a sensitivity slider for the button controlled rudders could be added. Currently pressing the button to push the rudder left or right will move the pedals in the chosen direction almost instantly. The sensitivity would mainly affect how fast the pedals and the virtual pilots legs would move in one direction while the button is held. I think this would make the module more enjoyable to control for those who don't have rudder pedals or can't use them for any reason, and also don't have an alternative axis that is suitable. Preferably such an option would also come with a keybind to toggle between "rudders staying in place after button release" and "rudders re-centering at the same rate which was selected with the sensitivity slider". Thank you in advance for looking into this!

I'm just testing this module to see if I'd like to purchase but I don't see how anyone can enjoy it. The way it feels and the bugs, and Jester, why? It flies like bucket of bolts made of lead. The RIO Tutorial is missing the console buttons you have to press during the Tutorial? This is not a finished product, and puts shame to the F14, makes me cry inside a little as this is my ultimate favourite fighter aircraft IRL. Is anyone else having the same issues or shares the same views?

Basically, what's in the title. As I fast forward, it come and goes at various volumes. Haven't done a thing except arm and then disarm the pilot's ejection seat, this Tomcat is dead cold, as is upon spawning in. I noticed this when I started to turn Jester off so I could learn the startup as a whole together. It starts when you arm the pilot's ejection seat. It also goes away when you cycle it too. It's kind of randomly activated by a cycle of the pilot's ejection seat, to make the sounds stop, cycle it until it does. I can't attach the videos but here's links to them. Hi everyone, Tried to google on the issue but no joy so far. Me flying with my RIO, engaging an airplane with target size set to medium, TTI starts to flash at 16 sec to impact, all good, good kill. Next shot, exactly the same settings, missile never activates, flies right past the target. Next shot, exactly the same settings, missile activates at 5 sec TTI. In Single player with Jester missile consistantly goes pitbul at 16 sec tti. All shots made in TWS Auto. Is it us doing something wrong or is it multiplayer issue? No track at the moment, they're too heavy and lengthy. Thanks all for your input Regards, Roman

Hi Everyone, Great to finally be able to get on the forums and start connecting with you guys, Im stuck in China so even creating an account was difficult. Unfortunately my first post is a bit of a ridiculous one, please see below: I have a Saitech/Logitech X56, which for FC3 and F18 ( After I found a fix) has been working AMAZINGLY for the last few months that I have had it. However, I recently bought the F14 module during the steam sale... and boy oh boy.... Let me first explain my fix for the famous Mode 1/2/3 issues ( unable to use the mode select in the game, even with the app ). After 6 hours of trialing, I found that if you manually set YOUR OWN ( or use the provided ) keyboard shortcuts to ALL the buttons in the app ( not the game ), that you can actually use the mode select, and without issues. This is the case in my experience with the FC3 and F18 modules. Once I painstakingly assigned all the keyboard shortcuts in the game, and then replicated those into a control map on the X56 app ( what a garbage app btw ), I was really enjoying those two modules and havent had a bad experience since. ( please also remember to put the app in test mode, I DONT know why, but DCS doesnt recieve your map inputs unless the X56 APP is in test mode ) Can someone at ED please explain to me WHY, When its possible for FC3 and F18, I cant assign my own hotkeys with multiple modifiers? Just as an example, I have tried assigning hotkeys with modifiers to moving the wings forward/aft/auto, and so far if I try to add multipliers, it DOESNT register? Only ( so far, only had the game since 26/4 and limited time to troubleshoot eveything ) the provided hotkeys are working. Since I am in China, I am unfortunately stuck with Chinese youtube to host the video showing the issue. I still dont believe I am the first person to have this issue, please shout out if you also had this issue. These issues are literrally in the most basic parts of a game and yet differnet modules have different results..... Fix it please. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -= UPDATE =- So after almost 12 hours of testing and troubleshooting, I have finally figured out that the Logitech APP and the f14 module are losing communication somewhere. Any modifiers set in the game are not being recognised ( outside of alt, but then alt doesnt always work either ) I have unfortunately resorted to using the DCS control assign page, but again, using the M1/2/3 triggers as modifiers sometimes and randomly stops working or you have to flick to and from several times to get it to engage etc. Here is my video link on the issue: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1FA41157Qp I realise that its not DCS's problem as a whole that the two programs arent communicating properly, but I have shown several times that it works with other modules, and so far it only has issues with the F14 module. I still honestly believe this should be looked into and resolved. The customisation and utility of the logitech app naturally make the modules much more immersive and involved and really bring much more out of the game. Again, Please fix it.

Hello, I've posted on this topic before didn't have the time to test it but now I've. Last time I wrote this (Under that I would put the test results and other people experience with this issue.) : " I would add later this day a video of this. The basic idea is: - 80% of the time the missile won't show on RWR and you would just die. - The time it does show on RWR it usually shows about 0.5 seconds before impact and very rarely it will show 3-4 second before impact. - Also a F-14 will not show on the RWR when it locks you for most of the time, it will maybe blip in RWR twice or a bit more but that's it. (Tests have been done on the Viper [F-16] but a Hornet [F-18] player that I fly with also confirmed that the Phoenix doesn't show on RWR). *I would try to add a video of this happening when I'm home, around 6-4 hours from when this is posted* " On this post I got the response of IronMIKE, he said this; " Thank you. If this is happening on the RWR of another module, it is likely an oversight on their side and would have to be addressed with them, please. " Before posting my first topic about the issue I've contacted NineLine on the ED Discord he responded by telling me this: " You may need to report this to HB " Because of that I'm trying to figure out to who should I reach out about this problem. My first test were in a Viper [F-16] and in the F-15, did it on single player when the A.I got these following settings, Enemy fighter- Ace, 1 AIM-54C-MK47, at 35,000 feet with speeds of mach 1.0 . In that test the Viper didn't got the results that I looked for it immediately started warning of a incoming missile the moment the A.I launched, but the F-15 did got the result that I looked for. In this track file you can see the F-15 not getting any warning of a incoming missile: F-15 AIM-54 test bug prood.trk I had a track file of that happening to me but I don't remember which day it was and each track file is at least 2 hours. Also I asked around to see if some players also experienced the same thing, I got some of my buddies to confirm that this has happened to them after the latest update but like me they have lots of file that each one is at least 1 hour long, I've also asked around in the ED's discord, a user named FzK#4325 told me the same thing, he flies the F-14 and he didn't have a track file for me but he did have a Tacview recording. he said the it had happened to him 3 times in the mission he flew, it may seem like he was defending but he said the he is cranking right after he shots everytime, by the Tacview we can see the he engages a bandit then he foxes and start cranking, not getting any RWR warning and then he just dies. As the title suggests I’m an avid F14B pilot and I love using Vaicom and Voiceattack with Nester and AIRIO but it’s time to take it to the next step. I feel I’m ready to crew up with a human RIO flying with me in the back seat. I usually fly after 3:00pm or after 6:30pm most nights Brisbane time. I love to fly in Through The Inferno and the many random missions that can happen. If you are a RIO in training or are interested in learning the F14B RIO seat than please PM me. I’m on steam but I own the non steam and steam version(although all my modules are the non steam modules). I’ve been flying for years and hundreds if not thousands of hours mainly in the A10C, F16, F18, Viggen, F14, JF-17 and Mirage 2000C. look forward to hearing from you! UPDATE: checklists voice & items improved I've setup a TTS machine learning voice model for Jester in a docker container. Then I had him read the checklists for taxi, lineup, air refueling, approach and landing. When i say i.e. "TAXI CHECKLIST" in VoiceAttack, then jester is reading the taxi checklist items one by one. Hi, We are working on a skin for the F-14 and we are hitting a issue with the directX11 Backend. In F2 mode, we can see the skin perfectly fine, but in F3 mode there are missing texture comes instead. 2021-03-12 17:24:56.838 ERROR_ONCE DX11BACKEND: texture '/textures//liveries/f-14b/gypsy (test)/HB_F14_LOD1_3in1' not found.
