Possible state bug when switching the radar ELEV between AUTO and MANUEL: - In AUTO mode, targets are detected and displayed. - After switching to MAN and changing the ELEV, FCR no longer finds any targets - Reset to AUTO -> Ping again -> No results - Change again to MANUEL -> ELEV remains the same as before -> Targets are recognized again. fcr_manual_range.trk

OSB 6 contains in the rotary BARO (default), RALT, PR for barometric, radar altimeter, passive ranging (DTS) respective selection for secondary AG ranging sensor. OSB 9 has CZ for cursor zero function. Lower left corner has "W" navigation symbol or bullseye bearing-range symbol depending on UFC option selection. Colors are not representative of actual. Text OSB labels are white and navigation symbol is cyan.

When selecting ACM/CRM mode options then selecting Standby on the FCR page, the radar is unable to exit standby mode. Can be reproduced, and effects all modes once selected for each mode, NAV, AA, MRM, Dogfight ect. Additionally Override OSB option no longer has any function. See track below: Thanks! Hi everyone, This might be intended behaviour but is there suspposed to be a line on the HSD when the FCR is in STBY? Normally, the HSD displays a sector showing the coverage of the FCR (with the radius and angle of the sector being dependent on the range and azimuth settings on the FCR), but with the FCR in STBY, this changes to just a line, extending out to whatever distance the FCR was last set to. As the purpose of this indication is to display the coverage of the FCR, I'd expect it to not be present with the FCR in STBY, right now it appears to depict the FCR with antenna centered, but still scanning out to the set range (like a boresight mode). The FCR appears to be broken when a mission is started and the DOGFIGHT SWITCH is either set to DOGFIGHT mode or MISSILE OVERRIDE mod. This happens when the jet is started in the air, on the runway or hot on the ground. This does not happen when a cold start is performed. Version: DCS v2.7.10869 Open Beta Pre-requisites: Synchronize Cockpit controls with HOTAS Controls at Mission Start is checked in Options > Misc. Reproducible: 100% Reproduce steps: Make a mission Add F-16C, set to player Start either in air or hot start on the ground Make sure DOGFIGHT SWITCH is set to either MISSILE OVERRIDE or DOGIFGHT mode before starting the mission Start mission Return DOGFIGHT SWITCH to center position Observed result: The MFD with the FCR shows NOT SOI and the blue carets don't move. There is no cursor on the screen. Functionality returns when DOGFIGHT mode or MISSILE OVERRIDE mode are active, but never in NAV mode. Turning the FCR off and back on doesn't fix the issue. This issue only happens when started hot on the ground or in the air. When doing a cold start with the DOGFIGHT SWITCH set to MISSILE OVERRIDE, the HUD showed NAV when turned on. After take and returning the DOGFIGHT SWITCH to the center position, the FCR continued working. When switching it back to MISSILE OVERRIDE, the FCR flashed "OFF" for a split second before returning to normal. Expected result: FCR functions as normal in all modes. radar_broken_dogfight.trk radar_broken_msl_override.trk radar_weird_cold_start.trk

I looked around to see if this was already documented somewhere, but I couldn't find anything. After the latest update, we got some new symbology on the FCR and I was wondering if anyone could explain the following things a bit. I got this flashing yellow "sun" symbol on a STT target? I'm guessing that's when this bandit has fired a missile? What does it mean when the contact turns yellow? It was red before and then it switched to yellow. I also had a contact turn purple. I think this was when I fired a missile at it? Any help is appreciated!

When OSB 19 and 20 are pressed and the scale changing option is currently automatic the radar should change to manual scale changing option and perform the scale change associated with the pressed OSB. Currently presses of OSB 19/20 in automatic scale option causes the radar to remain in automatic scale option and the range change to be rejected. F16 scale OSB press in AUTO.trk

Currently pressing "CZ" exits snowplow mode. From reading this is not one of the ways to exit snowplow. Being able to zero snowplow slews without exiting SP would allow a return to initial SP designation. Possibly related, designating in SP causes the "SP" to dehighlight (indicating the mode is exited) despite remaining in the snowplow mode. F16 SP CZ.trk

reported earlier Sighting point label on FCR and TGP formats
Frederf posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Label next to OSB10 on the FCR format shows "STP" instead of the correct "TGT" on FCR format when no TGP is carried. "TGT" label should be used in all preplanned AG modes instead of "STP" and labels for FCR and TGP format should always match. Aircraft without TGP Situation in which STP should be displayed: NAV, ACAL, FIX, AG MAN, SJ/EJ* Situation in which STP should not be displayed: AG VIP/VRP, NAV VIP/VRP**, CCRP, LADD, EO PRE, EO BORE, DTOS, CCIP, STRF^ Aircraft with TGP Situation in which STP should be displayed: NAV, ACAL, FIX, AG MAN, SJ/EJ* Situation in which STP should not be displayed: AG VIP/VRP, NAV VIP/VRP**, CCRP, LADD, EO PRE, EO BORE, DTOS, CCIP, STRF^ Correct Cannot Observe Not Correct Unknown *Unable to change FCR to GM type mode in JETT **Unable to select VIP/VRP in NAV master mode ^Documentation says that sighting rotary should be blank in AG visual modes which is the case in AGR but unsure if it should also be blank if the pilot changes the FCR to GM type as well. In DCS in AG visual attack modes and FCR shows a label it is "STP" or "TGT" depending on if TGP is loaded and not blank. F16 Sighting Point Label STP without TGP.trk -
With FCR GM (or GMT, SEA) and AUTO scale set the range should decrease and increase based on cursor position according to the following rules: Increase when cursor range is greater than 95% current range setting Decrease when cursor range is less than 45% current range setting for cursor laterally centered, less for cursor laterally displaced Equation for range of decrease is 45% times cosine of azimuth, i.e. Azimuth Range 0° 45% 10° 44% 20° 42% 30° 39% 40° 34% 50° 29% 60° 22.5% F16 GM AUTO scale not decreasing.trk

Hi everyone, I've found something that might be worth investigating. When selecting STBY on the FCR, OVRD automatically gets selected. This prevents you from going from STBY to another mode until OVRD is unboxed (fortunately, when you do, the mode selected appears). I would've expected OVRD to only be boxed when the pilot presses the OSB adjacent to it, allowing you to go from STBY to any other mode immediately. F-16CM_FCR_STBY-OVRD.trk
