Have we heard anything about if it's the Block 2 version of it or Block 1..? Do we know if there are any countermeasures on the variant we are getting..? And i guess we won't get any FLIR or terrain following Radar... Hoping there soon will be released more news and a roadmap with features for this magnificent beast

Hi everyone, Minor issue with the new S-3B; when the OR-89/AA FLIR (turret mounted underneath the aircraft's nose, to the left of the forward landing gear door) deploys and starts scanning, it appears to instantaneously perform a 180° rotation as it looks directly ahead/behind. Hi I'm currently learning to use A/G TPOD(s) and I have 2 questions regarding point track mode on moving targets. This applies to both - LITENING and ATFLIR. 1) Increasing FOV in point track mode causes it to lose track of the moving target. This is very annoying because I often use maximum zoom when searching for target at greater distances and later I'm unable to switch to wide FOV to get a better view when close or above the target. It loses track so any laser guided ordnance will miss if already in the air. Am I doing something wrong / is it a bug / or it works as it should? 2) Ironically, exceeding the TPOD gimbal limits does not cause to lose track of the moving target in point track mode. When I turn around and the target is visible on DDI again, it's still being tracked. Is this realistic?

Hi guys, after the update the crossair from the targeting pod does not give the 'Target locked' display on the Flir DDI display anymore, but the target can only get locked using the ' moving target ' crossair, where you will see the target locked by the icon between the two horizontal lines. So when targeting a building i have to use the 'moving target' to get the building locked instead of the big + crossair. Anyone else got this issue ? Greetings from RWC11

Hello Pilot, I'm a new player on chopper (in my team we name helicopter = ventilator ), i really enjoy this module, i think it's under estimate. What we can really expect with BS3? Well apache is coming too, i know it's a big debate beetween KA50 and people don't want to see a KA52, to be honest i don't really matter, about number, i'm not focus 100% fidelity or 90 % Igla ? why not , it's like sidewinder or A10, you take it because you can but when are they usefull ? MWS, OK it could be cool , usefull not a best deal but ok enhanced cockpit what doest it mean ? Only visual ? or a retrofit ? What is your approach to EMCON engagements? ---- I tried to transition a radar only lock to a FLIR only lock, but I cant change SOI during ACM/STT and thus cant transition to a FLIR lock. It would make sense if the FLIR attempted to autolock when slaved in ACM/STT, since you cant change SOI without dropping the lock. ---- If I get a combined lock while in TWS, selecting silent or EMCON drops both locks, not just the radar lock. The only way I've been able to have a FLIR only lock is to silence the radar first, and then manually slew the FLIR onto a target. Is there something I'm missing? I dont think the FLIR should be dropping locks upon selection of EMCON or SIL. ---- Also, shouldn't there be a FLIR button in the Az/El page?

AS in the title FLIR or DTV selected freezes me up completely , not right away, after using it for awhile. -
Hi, I would love to have something like checkbox "unit hot" for ground units in ME, my point is ground units aren't hot right after spawn and you need to wait several minutes to warm up (in case of alarm state is set up to RED), which makes mission editing painful sometimes. Thanks for answer!

I know that the Normandy 2.0 map is a WW2 map, but it is too beautiful not to be used by more modern jets and most importantly helicopters. How will the map support FLIR textures when flying e.g the Apache?
