After I drop the tanks, the right MFD screen swaps to show that, but I can't figure out how to set it how it was before I drop the tanks. After the drop, I can no longer switch between A/A A/G or Nav anymore. I must be doing something dumb or there's a helpful action I don't have mapped.

Hi All, Well due to our lovely US Postal Service I finally got my Warthog HOTAS yesterday that should have been delivered 4 days prior to that instead. I got everything unboxed and put together and the software installed and everything working as it should(or so I thought). I donned my headset, started my head tracking system, started DCS World, and proceeded to go through and setup all my controls for the maiden voyage of my A10C-II with my Warthog HOTAS. Fired up some instant action and hit fly and the issues started. I have my controls configured correctly for pitch and roll etc but no unless I purposely force the aircraft down it keeps wanting to pitch up. Anybody have any suggestions?? Other than that I'm loving my new HOTAS system. Something tells me I had this issue with my Logitech X56 when I first got it with the original A10C in DCS World but I forget what the issue was and how to fix it. Help please???? I have not tried it with any other aircraft to see if it was an A10C issue or an issue across the board. DevPreach

Ok, I will begin this post with my system specs because there are definitely oddities in my FPS as will be shown latter. Cpu: Ryzen 3600 w/ stock cooler oc at 4.2 Mobo: Msi X570 Tomahawk GPU: Power Color rx 6800 Psu: 650 watt gold cert 32gb CL 16 3600 ram all in a airflow friendly case Game settings are Point Blank’s rx 5700xt settings. I play on a 1080p monitor. With these components I used to (On the f/a 18 free flight) get about 180 FPS in Caucuses. This performance stopped pre 2.7 in 2.5.6. Now at dialed back settings from before I am seeing 70-75 FPS. I have tried every fix me or the group I play with has thought of and haven’t found a fix. I have even gone so far as to completely reinstall my computer’s operating system. I am looking for any help I can get. I have updated, repaired, and cleaned dcs, but nothing seems to work. Please leave any suggestions.

My DCS Open Beta wont open. It open the DCS logo screen, checks for updates, then promptly goes away. My normal DCS works but all my mods, liveries, and missions I've been working on are in my open beta. Is this happening for anyone else? Is there a way to fix this? Anything and everything will help. Thank you and I hope you have a great day.

I have an idea for a mission where I can fly around the map and as I land at various airports/farps (or even overfly them if that's easier) it would update my respawn location if I were to crash. Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to do this but still force the client to start at the initial starting airbase?

Hi, my name is Morris and I am CAG of vitural Carrier Air Wing 22. Part of our flight training is Field Carrier Landing Practice on Rota Island to get our pilots used to carrier procedures as it is done in real life. Since there is no Shore Based IFLOLS system in DCS (at least not anymore) I figured, I'll code a mod to trigger a IFLOLS overlay similar to the one coming with supercarrier, so that the pilots can learn to fly the ball, without the need to fly to the ship. I got a solid understanding of most programming terms from years of python coding, but most of my programs were only single scripts. So I need a little help with using functions from one file inside another and stuff like this. Furthermore I do not really get how the structure of DCS Mods works and what triggers what or what depends on what. First of all: What is the minimum I need to do to show my overlay inside the game after loading into an aircraft? The overlay I am using is a copy of the FLOLS from supercarrier. So I assume the DLG file works. The next thing: How do I read the aircrafts coordinates from DCS? To calculate the position of the Ball, I need to know the aircrafts coordinates and altitude I know I need to write a hook, so that I can get data from DCS. But how do I do this? This is my first try to mod DCS, so any help is appreciated. I hope you guys understand what I am trying to do. Thanks in advance, Morris "Cuzy" Messing

Hello all, I've decided to learn the Viper in earnest and need to ask about the RWR. Playing on Hoggit's GAW server, going through the startup process one step at a time, get to the RWR and turn it on and BAM! Constant, unrelenting lockon warble. More like a screeching, nerve wracking noise. I get why it sounds this way and how to turn the volume down. The thing is, just sitting in parking the RWR was picking up a Mig-29 "lock" on my aircraft. A continuous, unrelenting twittering throughout startup, through taxi, through line up, through take off, through climb out, through turn to my waypoint, minutes upon minutes of this continuous, God awful twittering lead to me selecting a new airframe and soldiering on. Do any of you more-knowledgeable pilots have any tips or tricks? I want to learn the Viper (been flying the Jeff for a while), I know I can't be the first person to "complain" about this. Any help? Thanks in advance for any help anyone might offer.
