I am having some trouble setting up my interceptor pedals with DCS, and I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Here is my setup: VPC button panel VPC CM3 base w/ Warthog stick VPC CM3 throttle Wingwing PTO2 Winwing MIP (VR) VPC Interceptor pedals Everything is working fine in DCS, except for the rudder pedals. For some reason it is not showing up in the upper columns in the controls binding menu. All devices have been calibrated. Weirdly the pedals are showing up in the VPC software, I see all the axis inputs are correct, but not showing up in DCS. I have a lot of devices (not including keyboard and mice), is it possible I reached a devices limit in DCS??? I don't think my issue is hardware caused because I can see the rudder pedals working properly in the VPC software. Any other idea? Thanks

I cant get late activation to work for the life of me! So for context I'm trying to setting up a F18 to fly through a trigger zone that activates a KC-130 to spawn for aerial refueling. I've made the trigger zone. Then done trigger conditions for "Part of Group in Zone" and set client group and trigger zone respectively. Set action as "Group Activate" and the group i want to activate. No matter what the even before spawning in the group is active. I have also tried setting this using flags. Conditions part of group in zone and set client planes. set action as "Flag On" then set a flag number. Then do another set of trigger conditions for "Flag is True" then flag number i used. Set action as "Group Activate" and desired group, and when you load in as spectator its already flying. Can anyone please help explain to me where ive went wrong? lol Stealthhs' F18 Training.miz

Bonjour, je me présente.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I would like to start this thread in order to have one place where we can all contribute to the gathering of F1EQ documentation, cockpit photos, and other information regarding the Iraqis’ revered and infamous F1EQ, preferably the F1EQ-6, but all otherwise is welcomed. I hold the belief that, after the release of the BE and M, an F1EQ variant has been the most popular wishlist request for the Mirage F1 module. The F1EQ-6, the ultimate F1, was above and beyond in its capabilities, and was easily the most capable variant of the F1 from a Dassault factory. I would like for anyone interested in this project to contribute, whether by searching for documentation and pictures, or just having conversation and sharing information on the elusive F1EQ, in the hopes of catching Aerges’ eyes. I believe the F1EQ would be an incredible addition to DCS, considering its historical importance in the theatres of war seen in DCS, such as the Persian Gulf. The Scourge of the Persian Gulf, the Tomcat Killer, the infamous Mirage F1EQ! I do this, as I am personally a huge fan of the F1EQ, but also because I know that many other DCS: Mirage F1 fans are as well, and I want to have one place where Aerges can see all of us working together and showing that we do want an F1EQ, and that we, or me personally, would not mind paying extra, as it is a very advanced and complicated variant of the F1. Everyone is welcomed, so if anyone has any information, documentation, or pictures (cockpit or external), share it here!

I bought a Leap Motion hand tracking device, and tried it out in DCS VR. The experience was not very great. Even though the tracking works fine in the Leap Motion App, my hands are all kinds of crooked in VR. My Fingers do weird stuff in DCS, even though they show up correctly in Leap Motion. And even worse is the pointing in DCS. The cursor doesn't go where your finger points, it is very awkwardly positioned, I had to twist my hand way left, and way down, so the cursor went somewhat in the right position. It seems to point from the middle of your hand, not the finger, which is very annoying. And it wiggles around so much, it is almost impossible to hit buttons precisely. Additionally, my hands disappear regularly in VR, without moving them. I have to move around my hands to get them to be tracked again. All of these Problems are non-existent in the Leap Motion Control Panel I also tried the "Fingers" app, that is supposed to emulate a mouse cursor by pointing your finger, but it also tracks your whole hand, not your finger, so I have to move my hand around in a very awkward manner to point where I want. I tried different tracking modes in leap motion, desktop, screen mounted and headset mounted, but nothing seems to improve the tracking. I am very disappointed with the implementation of Leap Motion in DCS. The Leap Motion Tracking itself is very good, but in DCS it is very very bad. Which is a shame, since finger pointing in DCS would be VERY beneficial for VR.

Hello everyone, I am trying to create a script that changes the destination of an AI plane group once a specific flag is on but I cannot find the proper action/function for it. The main idea behind it is that once an F10 menu command is selected the previously spawned cargo plane would fly, land and eventually despawn at the selected airbase so that its cargo can be added in the warehouse of the airport. Due to the big amount of different cargoes and destinations it's too time-consuming to add 80 different groups that fly and have different destinations and cargo, so I was thinking that something like that would be easier to manage. Does anyone know how this can be accomplished? I am also accepting suggestions on how to do it differently.

When I don't have Track-IR booted up when I load in DCS, I am unable to move my camera at all when using Ground Forces with my mouse. Is there a fix for this or does anyone know why? I have no idea why this happens and I really want to fix this issue.

So as you can see I’m brand new, and I wanted to get into dcs. I recently got a window mixed reality headset and saw a YouTube video where a guy flew the su25 with only vr hand controllers and voice attack. I have to move my laptop and peripherals every 2 days or so. Could I try that setup on a fc3 aircraft such as the su27 binding all commands to voice attack, and using the hand controllers for the virtual flightstick and throttle. If not I’ve heard the gladiator nxt might work for my predicament as it’s a compact stick that is considered the best below $250. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello, I've created a small button box with a few toggle switches for DCS and have had some trouble mapping a few functions. Master arm and ALT HOLD inputs work fine, I push the switch up, the switch ingame goes up, I pull it down, it goes down ingame, but things like Laser ARM don't work and I have to switch it twice for it to go up/down. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

For some odd reason my game crashed then blue screened and then it wouldn't open DCS, this has happened before and I had to do a complete reinstall of windows to then find out it was my config folder and then the same thing happened again today so I had to delete my config folder which is really frustrating and annoying. Has this happened to anyone else before and is there a way to put an end to it?

When I'm NOT using TARGET with the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS I have no issues using the flaps switch to control the state of the flaps in the Harrier. I just use the stateful configuration options for the throttle. If however I use TARGET software I cannot use the stateful joystick binds on the throttle switch (Cruise else AUTO and STOL else AUTO) as the are only usable on a joystick, not keyboard. Perhaps there's something simple I'm missing. Has anyone worked through this that can help? Thanks

I frequently see questions asked about whats the best loadout or real loadout, but my question is built from that and a tad more specific'ish lol. When would you use what, for what type of mission or target. i.e.: IR Mav for the super strong tanks (i cant remember what they are, maybe T90?) JDAMS for multiple targets in area where you cant get super close Answers such as that. The reason I ask the question is because I am still trying to learn the different types of ammo and what they are good for, versus the way I am currently going about things...shoot mavs at the SA's, drop JDAMS on tanks even though idk if they're heavy, shoot rockets at the AAA trucks and brrt whatever else i can find and do flippie and spinnies dodging SA missles from manpads and AAA from the trucks lol. This is my way of trying to be better and ask questions to be better

I consider myself fairly computer literate. I've always built my PCs from scratch. As far back as I can remember. I've done countless OS installations over the years. I even work in IT. I never thought I was going to say these words.... But I need help with my Windows OS install. I recently decided to format my C:\ drive and reinstall Windows, I've had trouble setting up my Reverb G2 and I messed around with the Windows registry too much so I wanted a fresh clean start. I have an original Windows Home 64 bit installation USB and a legit key. (Not bought through resellers) After the installation which went fine, i decided to check for updates and download all of them, or all the non-optional ones in any case. For some reason my OS decided that it was a good idea to download the Windows 20h2 build. Didn't even ask me for confirmation. First of all this took nearly 5 hours. Okay, I let it do its thing. It was almost impossible to use my PC during this time so I left it alone. After the update finished (this morning) I checked and it had to download a few more patches. However my PC feels sluggish and slow, everything takes a second or more to open. By Boot up time is around 35-45 seconds. (I timed it a few times) This is on an SSD NVME m2 Drive.....Even without Fast Book enabled my PC had no trouble getting up in about 10 seconds flat previously. So far the only drivers (other than the ones Windows automatically installed) I downloaded and installed so far are my graphics drivers. I have installed NO other software other than Google Chrome, which is again, slow as F$%&. So my question to everyone is: Is this normal? Are Windows 20h2 supposed to be that slow? I'm loath to download 150GB of DCS World only to discover that I have to re-install my entire OS from scratch. Again. So please, I need help, what do I do, and how do I get back my performance (if indeed it is lost at all) Thanks in advance. My system: i5-9600k (currently not overclocked) (freshly reseated, new thermal pase, new watercooler Be Quiet Silent Loop 2) MSI Gigabyte Gaming X 390Z motherboard 2x16 GB DDR4 RAM, 3200 SMP profile 1 TB Nvme\M2 SSD (Formated, fresh Windows install) 2 TB WD Harddisk

Hi All, Well due to our lovely US Postal Service I finally got my Warthog HOTAS yesterday that should have been delivered 4 days prior to that instead. I got everything unboxed and put together and the software installed and everything working as it should(or so I thought). I donned my headset, started my head tracking system, started DCS World, and proceeded to go through and setup all my controls for the maiden voyage of my A10C-II with my Warthog HOTAS. Fired up some instant action and hit fly and the issues started. I have my controls configured correctly for pitch and roll etc but no unless I purposely force the aircraft down it keeps wanting to pitch up. Anybody have any suggestions?? Other than that I'm loving my new HOTAS system. Something tells me I had this issue with my Logitech X56 when I first got it with the original A10C in DCS World but I forget what the issue was and how to fix it. Help please???? I have not tried it with any other aircraft to see if it was an A10C issue or an issue across the board. DevPreach

As has been said in other topics, a Silence TCS-STT with WCS-Stby shooting is a bug, but when the WCS is on too?

Hello everyone. Need help here. I bought the Saitek X-56, and I am having issues. I calibrated the joystick and Axis tuned my X56 to my F-18. While playing the game and I'm pitching and rolling, my plane acts a little erratic like it wobbles or lose control momentarily, and plane stalls even when I am going at a decent speed. When I disconnect the joystick and use my keyboard, the F18 flies well. No stalling or wobbles. I also used another stick, my X52, and my plane flies fine. I played with the curvature and deadzones and no luck. Please help. 1. Video of what is happening. 2. Video of just keyboard. 3. Another video of what is wrong.

Hello, does anyone happen to know where I can find the ammo counter for the 30mm gun and gun pods and rockets? The MiG-21bis has an ammo counter and so does the Mi-8 so I would think the Mi-24 would also have one, but no matter how hard I look I can not find an indicator showing how much ammo is left in the cockpit. Does anyone know?

Greetings all, Just a quick one here, given the recent announcement of the new free to play program, how do we actually use it or get access to it? I was under the impression it took effect immediately and have since seen nothing on the ED website or the module manager along the lines of "Begin free trial" or something similar. Thanks in advance,

IFEI export to monitor not working
SpaceFish112 posted a topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Hi there, I have this code below which successfully exports the left and right DDI to a monitor yet the IFEI is never visible. I thought it might only show the IFEI when the night illumination is on but that wasn't it. I Suspect it is the definition "F18_IFEI =" which must be wrong although others make reference to that exact declaration and it works for them. below the code is an image of my output. Resolution of the centre monitor is 1920x1080 and the right monitor is 1600x1200. Max combined resolution is 4320x1200. In the image provided, the tiny little thing 3/4 down the output screen is not overlapping or a super tiny IFEI, it is an overlay which allows me to access overclocking settings for my CPU. _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('Hornet 4:3 4320x1200 IFEI'); Description = 'Visual on 1st monitor, DDIs and MFCD on 2nd' // this is not the correct desc and I just haven't changed it Main_Monitor_x = 1920; Main_Monitor_y = 1080; DDI_Screen_x = 1600; DDI_Screen_y = 1200; DDI_sizes = 500; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = Main_Monitor_x; height = Main_Monitor_y; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = Main_Monitor_x / Main_Monitor_y; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = Main_Monitor_x; y = 0; width = DDI_sizes; height = DDI_sizes; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = Main_Monitor_x + DDI_Screen_x - DDI_sizes; y = 0; width = DDI_sizes; height = DDI_sizes; } F18_IFEI = { x = Main_Monitor_x + (DDI_Screen_x / 2) - (DDI_sizes / 2); y = DDI_Screen_y - DDI_sizes; width = DDI_sizes; height = DDI_sizes; // don't care right now the IFEi will print in a 1:1 apect ratio the same as DDIs, just want to get it to print first of all, tried 630 by 300 and that did nothing btw. } UIMainView = Viewports.Center -
