Hello fellows, As it was the case with previous verisons this bug still persists in 2.8 for me. I can't get DCS to use my GPU at its maximum potential. GPU usage is all over the place bouncing up to 70-80% with low FPS around 60-70 varying up to 80-90 at higher altitudes. I have attached various photos with my settings and with the actual performance taken both in multiplayer and is singleplayer. Here are my specs: Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on 29/10/2022 OS build 22621.819 GPU Nvidia 3080Ti Nvidia Driver 526.86 Release Date 11/10/2022 OS and DCS storage Samsung SSD 980 Pro 1TB I don't see any bottlenecks nor limits in my system and I have already tried multiple settings and solutions found on other threads (vsync on-off/fast in game settings and Nvidia Control Pannel, setting fps limits to 144 etc.) but nothing worked. Do you get the same issues or have other solutions that I should try? Thanks. (GPU usage in multiplayer) (GPU usage in singleplayer) (DCS Settings and Nvidia Control Panel)

Noticed this on 2D mode while messing around in the mission editor. Normally I fly VR. My specs: AMD 5800X 32 Gb Ram SSD Drives AMD RX6900XT For some reason when moving the camera around, the FPS behaves crazy. I can have 170-200 FPS looking down at an area, turn the camera slightly, and the frames drops to 50-60 FPS. At the same time the GPU utilisation drops from 80-100% and down 16-20%. Turn camera again, and the frames and GPU usage comes back up again. I have attached 2 screenshots, almost the same. The one with blue skies in the horizon has 75 FPS. The one with a slightly more angled down view, has 179 FPS. Now, you could say it's due to more "horizon" in the view of the first one. But here's the kicker. If I zoom in on the radar of the patriot site in the background. I get..... 50 FPS. Looking straight down on nothing but the radar. I would expect HIGHER FPS. As it should be easier to draw a single patriot radar, then the entire scene. I can have the same issue inside cockpit vs external view. Inside Apache cockpit, 150-180 FPS. Move to F2 view, 60-70 FPS. Back into the cockpit again, 170 FPS. This is the "top down" view on the patriot radar, gives me 50-60 FPS. I have noticed this on different maps, Nevada, Caucasus, Gulf and Syria. Scenes where you would expect lower frames are pushing out 140-190 FPS easily. Change to a single UH-60 external view in Nevada. Tanks down to 60 FPS. Goes back to internal view in the Apace, shoots right back into 140-170... I use Skatezillas tool to do the patching and cleaning of the DCS install everytime.

DCS 2.8.0.32235.1 Open Beta on Persian Gulf map. When you change the navigation display, you have a big loss of FPS and screen stutter. Please verify. Thanks!

I have experienced a heavy penalty in performance on carrier decks with static units after March 22nd v2.8.3.38090 patch on Single Threaded executable. I went from cleaning up video card driver with DDU and installing the latest one, reducing graphics besides my GPU or CPU not being maxed out. I'm running DCS with modest settings at 45 fps locked through nVidia control panel. My GPU usually ranges from 40 to 80% during gameplay. With the latest DCS 2.8.3.38090 Open Beta patch my frames dropped from the usual 45fps fps on deck in ST, to around 17-20 fps when looking at the aircraft parked towards the tower. Where there are the most polygons shown and lower than 45fps average. After take off and into the mission, fps stabilized towards the cap of 45 I've set. FIX: I rolled back to March 10th DCS 2.8.3.37556 Open Beta version and the fps are back into normal. I'm running single threaded because of current MT visual glitches in the likes of units specks/dots bleeding through clouds etc...and I'm hosting co-op sessions with a friend teaching and learning air combat and situational awareness kind of deal, so immersion is key. Graphics settings attached as image. GPU: RTX 3060 12gb Vram. CPU: i3 10100 @4.3Ghz. System RAM: 40gb. Windows 11. No change in the settings fixed the issue on the latest v2.8.3.38090, only the roll back to 2.8.3.37556. I searched and have not seen any mention on performance degradation on ST (single threaded).

Do we really need those detailed "bikes" and building fences, cargo palletes and road cones? why not replace them with a texture or some else come on ED we dont need a unplayable Monalisa See this screen shot, RTX 3070 i7-10700 32Gb RAM down to 15 vase flower pots and "mini fence" great 11 fps
