Back in 2005-2007 (that is 17 years ago... ouch) we were developing a theatre for Falcon 4, that covered the war that lasted for over 25 years between the Cuban led FAPA-DAA and the SAAF... We introduced new flyable aircraft (many a firsts in Falcon) e.g. Mirage IIIC and E Variants Mirage IIIRZ and R2Z Mirage F1AZ and CZ Impala MK2 (MB-326KC) Cheetah E and D/2 Buccaneer SMk50 Canberra yup even an Alouette III, Super Frelon and Puma helicopters and props eg C47, C130B, C160Z, Bosbok SU-22/25/27 MiG-15/17/21bis/23 The South African Air Force gave us incredible support and access to all aircraft (and in most cases performance data, flight manuals etc) including the Hawk and Gripen and it seems so many years later in would be incredible to "port" this shelved project over to DCS.... I really like flying this module however I cannot figure out the correct settings both in SRS and the module to get it working. If someone could help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated. V/R

Bonjour, je me présente. Feauxe, je suis un petit moddeur sur Dcs qui a comme projet de réalisé le grandiose Dassault MirageIV. Je viens ici pour demander un coup de pouce si certains sont assez calé dans le domaine. Le coucou a donc son modèle 3D fait par ma main, des textures et tout ce qui graphiquement sont nécessaire pour l'instant. Le problème étant que le MirageIV en question est déjà posé sur une base d'EFM. Mais voila, je suis une brèle pour codé un EFM et donc je cherche quelqu'un qui bénévolement est assez fou et attiré par mon projet pour pouvoir taffé sur un EFM et occasionnellement sur le MirageIV avec moi. Hi there guys. New to this and bad with computers so I am asking for some help. I am wanting to fly My Mirage 2000c, In DCS. I get into the aircraft and about 30 seconds later after using the quick start or auto start it will crash. Now I have managed to find out that in the last update there was an issue with this and there is a file out there now to correct it. The file is a Mod folder but within it there is a aircraft, then cockpit, So I downloaded that file and put it to my desktop. My question is do I put the folder into Mods or do I need to open and put each folder into its place. Any step by step instructions would be appreciated as I would love to fly this Mirage again soon. When I downloaded the fix it did not come with anything except you would need those files for the fix. So if you could help me out with basic instructions for a guy who isn't very good at this it would be greatly appreciated The fix I found was here in the dcs forums if that helps Thanks in Advance CaptainRamrod1 Wayne

Two IQAF(Iraq Air Force) Mirage F1 EQ-5 from 81st Squadron departed from Saddam AB at 31st July 1986, The 1st equiped with two Magic, two AS30L and Patrick laser pod, the 2nd equiped with two Magics, two Super530Fs, Remora/Sycomor pods and 1,160L external fuel tank, due to the mountain topology it was a hard target, approached the bridge from northeast at 820 km/h at 4000m, dived to 2700m and locked the pod on the bridge deck at a distance of 8.7km at 1900m, at 6.4km from the target he fired the AS30L missile. Iraq previously attacked with Su-22 and been able to damaged it lightly.

Anytime in the future maybe we could have the option to add on Canards, such as like the MirageIIIS/F-29/IAI Kfir Mirage variants. like have the option to select the default stubs or the full out Canards in the mission editor or weapon loading screen in game?

The Mirage became my favorite module for Air to Air fighting in DCS so did a video of why I am digging it and thoughts of how it can be used on Growling. The first 90 seconds has a cinematic intro. I went for a car commercial like edit for the intro.

UPDATE: Habe nun herausgefunden, wie es richtig geht..... Guten Abend! Ich habe mit der Mirage, mega Probleme! Für das INS habe ich mir dieses TuT zur HIlfe genommen: Mirage 2000C: CHANGES To INS Alignment & Approach Symbology - April 2021 | DCS WORLD 2.7 - YouTube Und ich befolge es strikt! Nun zum Problem: Ich gebe die Daten manuell ein (Die entsprechende Option des auto Ladens, ist im Menü aus) gelegentlich funktioniert es und mein HUD arbeitet entsprechend - nach dem "Booten" VAL und den umstellen auf NAV und [N]. Aber, regelmäßig, geht mein HUD nach Beendigung der Eingaben und den "Booten" des INS sowie den umstellen auf NAV + [N] wieder aus, bis auf den Kompass und ein + der wird im HUD gezeigt- obwohl das gesamte Flugzeug hochgefahren ist, auch in anderen "Stellungen" mit Batterie und Bodenstrom und den nur nötigsten. mit und ohne Bewaffnung, Radar an, Radar aus, Radar STBY... etc. Es nervt mich langsam gewaltig und ich frage mich, ob es wirklich an mir liegt? - oder liegt hier ein gewaltiger Bug vor? Nun ja, Verwende ich dann im rechten Pannel den einzelnen 3 Stufenschalter, für den Virtuelen Horizont und stelle ihn auf AN - nicht auf den NOTModus, so kommt im HUD "Horizon Secures" und ich kann nichts mehr machen. (also den Schalter brauche ich nicht, merke ich ) Ich weiß noch im Winter, da konnte man per Windos+POS1 Autostart machen und das INS lief prima. Jetzt mit Autostart geht das INS nicht automatisch - ja doch schon, aber halt das oben genannte passiert. Ich habe kein Pipper, keine Schnecke, kein Fadenkreuz Keine Horzontalanzeige keine Grad +/- NIX - außer der Kompass und ein + Zeichen..... Achso, Gunsight auch nicht Hoffe man kann mir helfen Grüße

When I am flying I should be able to press the MRQ button and the VAL to set a markpoint but I don't have the M91 (etc) markers show up on the INS. For clarity - the markpoint itself works but the M91, M92, M93 don't show on the INS. See Chuck's Guide section 13.5

Does anyone know where to download template PSD for Mirage 2000C? And is it possible to download it at all?

Welcome to Birds of Prey. We are an Australian squadron seeking new recruits from Australia, New Zealand and the Americas as well as Europe. Ideally, we'd like to be able to field pilots in most timeframes. We are a virtual Private Military Company (PMC) that is not aligned with NATO or the East. This allows us to fly whatever platform we desire to complete our tasks without being restricted by Western or Eastern airframes. Currently, as we have only just started, we fly the following airframes: -F16 -JF17 -Mirage 2000 -Mirage F1 CE F18 and the A10. Other airframes that we would like to add are the AH-64 Apache, F14. If you are proficient in any of the former airframes. Training in the airframes we listed as those we currently fly can cover everything from basic skills to advanced skills. We use SRS and will field Overlord Bot (AWACS and ATC) as well as LoTac once we have enough members to warrant it. Basically, we are a fun group, that currently has just 20+ members, who don't take ourselves too seriously. We like to have fun in a no pressure environment that lends to best learning outcomes. I set the green radio preset to 118.25 in the Editor. However in game using SRS it showed only 118.00. I wonder if this explains the problems we've been having with presets? And when manually set to 118.250 (Kerman), it didn't work and SRS showed 118.205. So it doesn't transmit or receive. In short, both Preset and Manual mode are broken. Manual does work for numbers where the last digits are zero, eg 251.300.

Hello, all. I'm here to ask if anyone knows the control layout on stick and throttle for the F1CE. The Aerges manual doesn't show much, and I am looking to map out my controller as closely as possible. I have searched for this information; perhaps I have merely been in the wrong places. Once I get that information, I can map it out in DCS, myself; however, at this point...I look at the stick and throttle and aside from trim control, I cannot tell which button does what! Maybe someone else has already put out a thread for this? If so, can you redirect me to it? Much appreciated. SidDogg
