2022-09-23: ENGINEERING DATA DUMP - WEAPONS MANUAL SENT TO THE MOD TEAM F-105 ENGINEERING DATA DUMP: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vX0tQbzGLVIf5VVtqHsQDxcY-mcLQaq9/view?usp=sharing I'd like to add in the F-105D as a module to DCS World. A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred targets still unknown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* But it's my belief that my Thunderchief strikes a telling blow for the GI Joe. Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred bridges to be blown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* If the shrapnel stuck I'll be out of luck and Jolly Green will pick me up. Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred targets still unknown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* On my left my right the rest of flight help keep me alive in my 105............... Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. (song is as best as I can recreate it from clips. Order of lyrics is unknown)

It's been a long long time since I opined about new aircraft modules, because DCS has met and far exceeded my every expectation with all the current and known future aircraft. However, since the days of Sid Meier and MicroProse I have always had fun flying the Stealth Fighter or the F-117A Nighthawk. I think this would be a great module! And the gameplay would a little different from all the other 3rd and 4th gen fighters! CB

Hello guys, Ive tried everything for a few hours now, and this is basically one of my last hopes: I want to change the sound of the G-breathing in the cockpit (F16 or any other plane). Now I would have thought that you only have to exchange the files but that doesn’t work. Please Help me if you have an Idea.

I'm sorry if this topic doesn't belong here, mods can let me know and I'll remove it if it doesn't. I just switched from the Steam version to the Standalone version and transferred my modules through the User Profile section just like the following URL shows: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/223750/view/2873815732584411725 But when I open the DCS Standalone launcher and go to the modules manager, I don't see my modules to install. Do they take time to propagate or is there any additional step I need to do? The modules already show as transferred:

Hi! I am a new player and I am wondering what module I should get. Because It is cheap, I will only be getting one of the FC3 aircraft (A10A, F15, Su27/J11, Su33 and Mig29). I have created a poll as to which aircraft I should buy and could I ask you why you chose that option in the discussion below. Thanks!

I was looking at the Heatblur f-4 forum and found an idea I really like in terms of potential function. In talking about the ability for the Phantom to carry aim-120s there was discussion over what was more important to 3rd party developers, and what they need to focus on more. It was during this that the f-16 Sufa mod was brought up an an idea took root. What if there is an ability to have 3rd party developers create add on dlc that can be bought independently of a full module (price to be determined by how much needs changed/added). An example perfect for this would be the MiG-21 bis already in game where people have been wanting a Lancer versions for years. What this would do is add a data pack containing the additional or rewritten code allowing for a separate purchase of an upgraded Lancer if you already have the bis. I am not sure how the coding would have to be done for this level of modularity, but it lets companies create highly requested sub variants without having to massively change the entire module that the aircraft are based on. One of these packs (again for the Lancer as example) might have different weapon data allowing it to use more modern missiles, a new 3d cockpit to match what is modern, and finally some new skins specific to the new version. The idea is to make it have a cost to the end user so that they can get specific to what they want and the developers can do the main important aircraft that bring them the big money. Please let me know your thoughts on this idea below.
