Hello, I'm trying to set up a couple of LPWS C-Ram in the mission editor to shoot down some planes. The problem is that they don't shoot. They move and aim at the planes, but they don't fire. I've already tried using the triggers for weapons free, red alert, etc..., but I couldn't solve it. Can someone help me? Thanks

Haven’t flown the 10A in a while, jumped back in for some fun but it seems the alt and path hold won’t seem to engage for me. Am I forgetting something? I’m doing alt+1 or 2 then A, but nothing. any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks

After the most recent update, this seems to have zero function. It used to work fine, I double checked my bindings, looked in cockpit while pushing the button down and the trim button in cockpit is indeed going down. But there is no corresponding effect in flight characteristic or control overlay.

In multiplayer environment (BUT single crew flying as pilot...the AI CPG acq symbol (cross)NOT moving in pilot reticle when selected as ACQ source even though he is targeting a vehicle...this normal for EA or bug?

Unsure if this is a bug, but I have repeated a scenario where George can see the targets (hidden by fog) but the FCR seems to struggle. I can understand fog affecting the laser, but the FCR seems less likely. In the screenshots, you can see in red text (hovering just above the cyclic) the targets George has seen (on our nose). I have also engaged 'Cheat Mode' (enabling Enemy targets to be visible on the TSD via the ATK Phase SHOW button). This is just so you can see that the targets exist on the map. Screenshots are taken after a fresh scan with the FCR. In one run, the FCR did pick up the targets once I climbed to maybe 700-900 feet, and was a lot closer to the targets. Perhaps about 3000m. FCR didn't seem to pick them up until about 4000-5000m when I was at maybe 200ft. Two others, also flying Apache's, also reported being ambushed by flying over targets that the FCR didn't show in the same mission. I fly the Apache a lot, and don't have this happen on maps without fog. Let me know if I've missed something obvious George sees but not FCR 2.trkGeorge sees but not FCR 1.trk

Hi everyone, overnight something happened with my F-5 module, specifically with the Communication Menu binding. Everything worked fine yesterday, since this morning whenever I'm flying the Comms Menu will not open using the bound keyboard key. When on the ground I can use the very same bound key and it opens the Comms Menu. I rebound to alternative keys, I changed the setting in the General configuration as well, I then deleted the Default folder as well as the keyboard folder of the F-5 under SavedGames|DCS|Config|Input to reset, no luck. I have no idea what to do now, need some help. (If this is at all relevant I am seeing the same behaviour in the current community A-4E module, this workled perfectly well yesterday evening as well and since this morning I'm seeing this strange behaviour) Thanks a lot, Milan

Been away from DCS for many years but recently got back into it a bit. Been learning (relearning?) the A-10C and was trying to get the ILS system to work while loading up the "landing" and "night landing" instant action scenarios. Both are set at Kobuleti. Tried many times without getting the ILS, supposedly at freq. 111.50MHz, to work (TACAN is working though). After looking up a few online guides I noticed they do the exact same procedure, but in their screenshots/videos the ILS was working as expected. They were not using Kobuleti though. I thought this was suspicious so I set up a similar scenario at Batumi using the mission editor, and I instantly got the ILS working.

OK, my latest DCS World update is 291.48335 does that contain the New Syria Map by Ugra Media. I could not tell if we already have the update or if it is coming I have the Syria Map is it automatically updated with the next DCS update Any help in interrupting the March 1 letter would be appreciated

I've been tracking this one down for a while, because its pretty annoying! On the su-25, if you are using a joystick input for TDC slew, when the laser designator is ground stabilised it adds your planes motion the cursor when you attempt to move it. This does not happen when using mouse input, and it correctly translates without adding plane motion to the cursor On the su-25T, the exact opposite is true - when using joystick input for TDC slew it works great, but when using mouse input for TDC slew it inherits your planes velocity and adds it to the motion of the camera Both of these things occur when in ground stabilised mode only when input is entered, and aren't related to any features of the aircraft in any way, its a simple bug depending on what kind of input system you use, mouse vs joystick, and its the exact opposite between the two aircraft https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyjiGAifo7I is a video of the repro

I am seeing something that concerns me. I am running the DCS updater for the open beta client install and the updater is coping files from my open beta server. why would it need to do that? my saved games folder structure for the open beta client is c:\ users \ username \ saved games \ DCS folder for the open beta server is c:\ users \ username \ saved games \ DCS.openbeta_server

SO I've seen a lot of complaints about the 30mm and how it doesn't literally blow up a fighter on a single hit, or blow of the tail of a B17 on a single hit. While that is true, I've felt that it still did a lot of damage, 1 hit usually enough to take down a fighter, mabye 2 on a bad day. However today I hit P51s repeatedly, with little effect, I hit 1 4 or 5 times and while I did damage the engine to the extent it stopped working after a while, you would think 4 or 5 30mm in the front of a P51 would have more effect than that. It does feel like it does even less damage than it used to. I'm using MT, that might have something to do with it, as TM seems to add bugs all over the place. 1092.trk

While flying between 14,000 and 16,000 I was maxed out at 44" full throttle, so I attempted to manually engage the supercharger. Clicking on the guard opened the guard. Clicking on the switch resulted in no response. Left click, right click, either way the switch remained in the down position.

The SA-19 / Tunguskas are consistently unable to hit any manoeuvring fixed-wing targets, the missile simply "Wiggles" while in flight and loses an insane amount of energy, in addition to often missing the target. I have attached 2 track files. The first track "Tung.trk" file 2 non-manoeuvring F-14B at moderate speed overly 4 Tungs. This results in a 50/50 chance of a hit. Second Track "Tung1.trk" 2 non-manoeuvring F-14B at moderate speed fly parallel to 2 Tungs. It is resulting in a 0% chance of a hit. I want to emphasize that these are non-manoeuvring targets. Hitting anything that is somewhat manoeuvring is almost impossible. Please also press F6 and look at the missile wiggle. CA doesn't get much love recently so I will tag @BIGNEWY to get the attention, hope no one minds. Kind regards. Tung1.trkTung.trk

I'm relatively new to the strike eagle so I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. The left feed tank only fills to 1200 lbs. while the right feed tank fills to 1500 lbs. In the Tomcat and Hornet they balance out automatically so i assume that both feed tanks should be the same here too. I'm running DCS multi threading on the latest open beta. tested on cold start and hot start jet.

Probably a niche bug but to simulate long missions without flying the whole thing I'll fly with 3 external tanks and set the fuel % in the mission editor to 20%-25%. This will allow air start closer to target with a more realistic fuel load allowing me to skip ramp start and most of the ingress flying. I also do this for AAR practice using 5% fuel load to start with mostly empty tanks to simulate being in the air on a long mission without having to fly around in AB to burn fuel off. It also gives more practice time on the tanker. ED why can't we get a empty tank option like the F14 and F15? Or external tank fuel % sliders? Well, If fuel % is set to 13% (worst case) this gives a mission start fuel weight of 7886 lbs. When the external tanks feed to the main tank, the center tank drains first. When it is empty the 2 wing tanks start to drain. Problem is when the left/right 370 gal tanks reach about 500lbs on each side the left tank stops feeding while the right one will continue to drain until it is almost empty. This causes a 500lbs fuel imbalance until the engine burns it off. You'd never see this scenario in real life but I would think they should drain at equal rates until empty. It happens in all maps. Air start, ramp start, runway start. 13% fuel is the worst case and setting higher fuel % values just means the right tank won't drain as much. It does not happen if you start the mission with full fuel load and the jet burns it off normally which tells me this only happens when large fuel transfers occur.

2 issues I'm finding with the Apache FCR; first the manual slew L & R for the scan area, only moves when you stop scanning. When you stop scanning it re-centres anyway so is there any point in having the scan slewable? Should I be able to slew it left and right when its actively scanning? Second, if I stop then re-start a scan it picks up a target I have previously hit and destroyed, and will send another hellfire to hit it again. Its like the scan restarting wipes any memory of previously targeted and destroyed units, and the scan is picking up destroyed ones as still live.

Firing the ATGM is not working from the pilot position (enigma server, instant action missions, friend's private server). What I enabled: -Weapon panel: sight power, auto range, main arm switch, weapon panel knob to missile -Sight: auto range and synch -AI: request weapons enabled (wait for weapons enabled communication and AI gunner reticle 3 box color turn to white) Attempt to fire: -Turn on AI gunner menu reticle, press Designate Target/Fire, wait for AI crosshair to stop on target, align pilot crosshair and get tone, press Weapon Release: Nothing Other info from multiple attempts at firing: -Changed Weapon Release to different button and tried default keyboard command for firing weapon, still NOK -Used different duration of clicks on the Weapon Release (quick clicks, long presses, everything in between, all while tone is on and both pilot and gunner crosshairs are aligned), still NOK -Ordered -Tried workaround from 2022 (similar issue), where turning off the AI gunner menu reticle and then pressing Designate Target/Fire or pilot Weapon Release, still NOK -Did slow repair, still NOK -Reinstalled module, still NOK -Reinstalled DCS (with deleting Saved Games folder after uninstall), still NOK -Tried training mission on ATGM, missile can be fired from the gunner position with the keyboard command -In multicrew an experienced Mi24 user was not able to fire from gunner position and tone for pilot and gunner were not synched (could be separate issue)

Hi everyone! I don't understand why when I press the button assigned to release one (ONLY ONE) missile, instead two (!!!) missiles are regularly released. If I press once, nothing happens, if I press again nothing happens, if I hold the button down for two seconds (approximately) two missiles are released!!!! I exclude the malfunction of my controller (perfectly working). Who knows what abstruse mechanics the Russians must have devised for a trivial action like releasing a missile!!!! Thanks in advance to anyone who, having fortunately understood it, wants to share it.

Hi, Hey what happened to the ability to select a livery in the rearm/refuel screen? I've experienced this in Multiplayer and fellow players I know have reported this bizarre issue on and off again with various servers/missions. No one common factor as yet identified. Not sure if this has been reported yet, or if it's some sort of change that I missed in the most recent update. ???? bitboy

hi I encountered this problem. I press key for "weapon release" but the rockets dont get fired. I have to press a second time to fire them. this occurs very often. and kills the fun of the simulation.
