I'd like to bring up a point that may have been mentioned before, but I believe it's worth addressing. When engaging Air-to-Ground (A/G) mode on the F/A-18, there's an automatic switch of radars that I find inconvenient. Specifically, I suggest that Eagle Dynamics consider removing the automatic switch of the right DDI to Ground Radar when A/G mode is selected. Personally, I prefer the ability to manually change radars based on my needs. Typically, when I choose A/G mode, it's either to utilize A/G armaments, check my air-to-ground armaments, or configure them in-flight. An additional issue arises when transitioning from the ATFLIR on my right DDI to A/G setup. The automatic switch to ground radar upon selecting A/G mode is not only undesired but also disruptive to the flow of my activities. In summary, I propose the removal of this mechanic as it proves more annoying than beneficial. Having control over radar changes would enhance the overall user experience by eliminating unwanted interruptions during critical moments.

Will there later be the possibility to set prioritization about which targets to engage? For example "Dont Prio targets near a Shot Mark" or "Prio Wheeled vehicles"? Right now im pretty sure there is nothing like that. I dont mean the Prio by movement.

So the HTS pod on F-16 (or all RWR) can find target azimuth but no information on elevation, there is no information on whether target is at lower or higher altitude. but what if I roll the aircraft to the side?. Like with half a roll while pointing the nose toward the emitter. Wouldn’t the sensor oriented in the way that allow me to find target elevation, and thus based on my own altitude, I can calculate distance to target?

In pilot seat and NVS NORM switched on.... IHADSS in my track IR5 working. How do I change views as in Zoom-Wide-Med-Nar like I can do in the CP/G seat IHADSS?

Would be nice to use auto delivery on GMT track. You can see the target diamond moving along with the vehicle in the HUD but the release cue is not calculating the distance the vehicle travels after the release, so... have to switch to CCIP, pull the cross ahead of the tgt. diamond 'a little' and pickle.

Since we cant take both the NVG and the JHMCS, the NFLR actually become quiet useful, isnt it? And the F/A18 lot20 got these knobs, which means its aircraft 163985 and up,which should have the NFLR function I guess? So......are we getting it in the future?

Hey Guys, Pretty basic question. Is there any plan to add the AGM-130 to DCS? Admittedly we don't have too many planes that support it but I have always had a fascination with this weapon and the 130LW variant is used on the F-16C. **The AGM-130 is basically a BLU-109 or Mark-84 warhead, with a CCD/"Man-in-the-loop" datalink guidance kit and a rocket propulsions system. The pilot can fire-and-forget, use partial guidance, or terminal guidance to target and guide the weapon. It functions like a CCD TV Maverick with a massive warhead and man-in-the-loop features**

Was wondering, should our Blk 50/52 F-16C have the capability of showing data link contacts in the HMD, such as the F/A-18? Asked already on YT, where Wags stated: "For this tape, year, country, just PDLT." Is this correct?

I expect to be flamed for requesting this, but can I really be the only person who is getting a little bit irked at having to do this (WEP, B6, A, ENTER, FAB) over and over in each mission? Or just an option to have auto ranging set as the default? *Ducks for cover*

Just an idea. Since we have to lase for quite a while, can we possibly please implement a keybaord / joystick cheat for latching the laser on and off. I have programmed this in my joystick software profile, but when the button is constantly latched and depressed it stops other keypresses from working. So the work around brings ................... more problems........ I know there are other joystick workarounds that have been implemented within the wider sim - hoping one day we can get this too. * On the plus side, slewing works when lasing!

I'm on the point of giving up DCS. Refuelling is unreasoinably difficult. I've spent hours, watched videos .... no luck. Without refuelling, the F18 is very limited in what it can do. Without some mode of making this slightly easier, it's very very VERY dispiriting.

I fly VR and there is a difference from 2D. In VR the IHADSS display all looks like it is in a bold font and is hard to ignore and takes up way to much of the visual area when your trying to spot something outside. I've looked for a lua file to modify but I can't find what I'm looking for. To be honest, I don't know what I'm looking for. Just a blind squirrel looking for a nut.

I just wanted to suggest adding the feature of the TADS showing the MGRS its looking at and the zulu time. The only problem i have is not being sure if this is either accurate for our software version or if its just a feature of the recording but not actually shown to the CPG. Maybe some of you have a better insight on this, any info to clarify would be awesome. (the picture is from an engagement in Afghanistan 2009)
