The sister server of Enigma's Cold War is back with version 3. This evolution moves away from the real time dynamic scripting in favor of a curated, hand crafted multi map/multi mission campaign that begins in the Persian Gulf with a battle for Dubai and territorial control and will initially stretch across Syria and Sinai as either side advances through completion of various, tailor made objectives. Both fixed wing and rotary craft have been considered and catered to with a variety of missions within each scenario that will see each team co-ordinate to attack and defend front lines, strategic locations and valuable assets. Hi everyone. I've noticed a lack of cooperative content with an emphasis on narrative and authenticity, so I thought it would be interesting to try to create something like that. Introducing Phoenix Rising. A 4 player cooperative campaign for the F/A-Hornet set on the Persian Gulf map. As of now, only the first mission has been published. It features 50+ lines of dialogue from 5 different voice actors, as well as a extensive briefing and kneeboard with lots of info that you should read before even loading the mission. There's even an optional skin pack with lots of new liveries designed exclusively for this campaign. The full campaign will include 5 missions and it's currently in development. What is the status of the bug with ME placeable NDBs (non directional beacons) not working on the Persian Gulf map? I can remember the issue being reported 2 years ago, yet to this day none of them seem to work for anyone (both ARC and TACAN, latest personal tests with ARC in multiplayer with correctly placed and "working" beacons which no module can pick up). And does this have to do with the general map bug of fixed location beacons (NDBs) being coded in Hz instead of Mhz (typo-bug, as also present on Syria for a while, seemingly coming from and Eagle keylog being used as a baseline by Ugra Media)? This bug is relevant as for any mission scenarios that are above the absolute lowest denominator being able to home in on a road base or FARP when other means are not available or in DRIFT can be quite relevant (especially when forced to use terrain masking). Moreso since the PG map is quite empty and repetitive in many areas making terrestrial navigation especially at deck and even at angels an issue. An earnest update - even if it reads "we had no time/no ressources for that" - would be appreciated to at least know what the status is.

I was working on a mission for my community when I discovered that my carrier fleet, which used to work, had stopped working since the most recent update. The carrier fleet is set to circumnavigate from the UAE coast to the Qatar Peninsula coast, and it used to sail fine, but since the last update, it stopped working at the start of the mission. I tried to find the cause of the problem and came to the conclusion that it might be related to the depth of the ocean. It was difficult to tell the depth of the water from the mission editor or visually, so I made some minor adjustments while looking at the F10 map, and confirmed that the ship would not navigate in slightly shallow water. Even though I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, I'm filing this as a bug report in light of the fact that it used to work. Ships_movement_test.trk Ships_movement_test.miz

I've recently received my 3080, so naturally I did some testing on how far I can push VR DCS wrt to settings. The results are very promising but mixed. It seems that another planes (even stationary ones, like on the Caucasus free flight mission, stationed at Senakhi-Kolki) can tank the fps regardless of hardware used. There are other strange drops in really strange places, like for example when flying upside down, or looking to the floor of the jet at the stick's base (inconsistent). What's more interesting it turns out that the thing tanking frames on the supercarrier isn't the supercarrier itself, but the models on it, which you can see later in the video. Here you can find a recording of my flight with fpsVR graph at the bottom. Video contains both the Caucasus and the Persian Gulf maps, on the later I'm launching from Supercarrier. The audio is in Polish - it is a recording of a twitch stream I did for my friends playing DCS. You can ignore it, although a follow would be much appreciated, thanks! The important part is that you can see the fps, the CPU and GPU usage and frametimes. I was using Speed of Heat's conversion of Kegetys shader mod, IC - compatible. No other mods. I can run on Caucasus just fine. the only other module I have is FC3. I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling my graphics drivers with DDU, and given the game full admin permissions. I also tried the repair feature, no dice. Running version 2.5.6.58125 (Open Beta). When the game crashes, it either doesn't generate a log file or generates an empty log file (0KB in size). Often it will crash without generating the 'DCS has crashed' popup. Sometimes it crashes in the loading screen, other times it crashes about a minute in to gameplay (on P.G), usually when I check the map or F2 over to another plane. The longest I've had it run without crashing was a cold start at night on Al-Dhafra, where it ran for about 5 minutes as I mapped my controls. Usually, the game crashing will cause my screen to flicker or go black and then turn back on. Sometimes, my screen will flicker and the DCS 'your game has crashed' popup will appear as the game is still running. When this happens I'm able to fly for about 30 seconds more before a full crash, but I noticed that the map doesn't load in fully when I hit F10, areas further from my plane remains grey squares. Often, the game crashing/freezing will cause other tasks running on my computer (Discord, Firefox) to also crash (not just freeze, I get a full on "we're sorry but Firefox has crashed" popup). In my resource monitor, I don't see any unusual spikes in temperature or resource usage before the game crashes. All other games run fine on max settings (Doom Eternal, War Thunder, Squad, etc). I've attached a screenshot of my graphics settings. As a result tensions between this alliance and the US and Europe escalated to the point of war. This mission is set early in the conflict and involves providing CAP for ground attack flights. Fly a F-16C 4 ship armed for air to air into Iran and prevent red fighters from interfering with blue strike groups. Red forces are randomized as are some blue forces for replayability. Hi everybody. Is there a way to order to AI platforms to attack JUST a target instead to engage whatever enemy things they see? I see planes ordered to attack a single cargo vessel (mission type: anti ship strike, advanced waypoint actions->attack group->name of the group... and a small blue triangle is placed on the ship to be engage) engage another cargo placed miles away that is a target of another flight. Please note that in advanced waypoint actions i select to expend ALL the ammo's on this target. I saw this behaviour also on ground mission where an apache flight was attaccking my targets rather than their. Thanks a lot in advance and please excuse if this subject was already discussed. Hey guys I was wondering if someone could run me through how to add Kneeboard pages to a map specifically. Everything I’ve seen or read deals with adding only to a specific aircraft but I’m looking to add some pages to the Persian gulf map Kneeboard pack with airport info and other such things. I know the general got to saved games all the way down to the last creation of the new folder with the aircraft name but I’ve tried every variation of the words Persian gulf I could think of and the pages won’t show up, is it even possible. Thanks

I am getting some strange graphical glitches flickering on the two hangars at the end of Al Minhad. Edit: This is caused by SSAO. Turning off SSAO removes the issue.
