I have two MFD displays plus my main, and everything has worked fine up until yesterday when the inflight messages started appearing as shown rather than on the left edge. Is there a file I can edit or maybe delete so this is moved back to default location, without wiping everything out and having to start over? null

resolved F18 now has a constant slight yaw???

Hello everyone, Ever since the latest update, every time I start any Instant action mission the mission starts up with the plane experiencing on automatic, yaw input, and that input remains constantly. When I activate the auto pilot, that sometimes lines everything up, but you can see that it constantly is trying to correct the slight input that it’s encountering. I’ve gone out of the cockpit to view the exterior of the plane and I don’t see the Rutters moving and they appear to be straight. It is very annoying because it is throwing off any bombing sequence I tried to do. Here is a picture of the HUD. This happens every time I begin a mission in flight. I greatly appreciate any help you guys can give me. I’m running open beta with the latest update and I don’t have any mods installed.

Hi all, As soon as DCS loads I'm getting a very limited view through the lens's - large black areas. It appears to be a random shape each time I load up, like putting a black piece of black card over an area of the lenses. It's been absolutely fine up until the latest update. I have tried a completely fresh install as I thought it maybe because of the merge of the open beta and official release, but it's still there. Just for info, my headset is working absolutely fine with every other VR titles I own. Using Open XR, a good enough PC to run DCS - RTX 4080 blah ,blah, blah anyone else getting anything like this with a G2? I'd appreciate any help as I can't bring myself to play on a flat screen. DCS doesn't start after the updater have executed. dcs.log EDIT: I found the solution! My antivirus F-secure blocked the DCS-mt-binary. Probably this hasn't been the file executed before, because the none-mt binary was in the F-secure not-to-block applications, but not the mt-bin variant. After adding this to the not-to-block applications, the DCS started without problems.

Hi, Loading A-10C II to a Cold start mission causes a crash to desktop. The attached logs are from this moment. I'm able to start F/A 18C in a Cold and Dark Instant action mission on Caucasus. I can load A-10A in Caucasus. It doesn't matter if I use MT option or not, still crashes. But I can no longer start F/A-18C using Supercarrier mission "Cold start" on Persian Gulf map. If I try to start that mission it starts without the player airframe and you are in map view. Clicking F2 gives a camera view following another plane. I am not using any mods at all and it's running completely vanilla. I have 36 DLCs only. A lot of them have been reinstalled today, and game has been verified from Steam as well. Checked that I have latest version of Windows 11 and all the Visual C++ runtime packages from microsoft. Latest NVidia driver for my Asus RTX 3080 12GB. Latest DCS 2.9 Open beta. Logitech Extreme and TrackIR 5. I set up a sound to all trigger in ME - the sound plays in ME when you click on the play button but NOT when the mission is running. This mission uses different MODs and so I created a blank mission, renamed the MODS folder renamed the SCRIPTS folder and added the trigger, again silence. If I include a MESSAGE TO ALL in the trigger for testing purposes the message displays but not the sound. I have tried different sound files to no avail. Any insight would be appreciated. OK so in VR specs below, Closing a game crashes DCS in VR and I cannot click the box to send info to DCS can tab around it and never into the box to click it?? Also the cursor in game now is restricted typically outside the Ihadds area in the apache. Cursor disappears anywhere inside from pilot knees to top of panel. While flying F-18, the program is very jiddery; stops, goes, very slow. I have downloaded all updates. How would I be able to fix this? I am not flying in STEAM

Hi. I can't play anymore with DLSS setting on Quality, it crash every time. No errors just crash and i've always send the report as request by the program. I can play whit out any problem in Balance mode.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance dcs.log.old

Everything JTAC reports coords They are in the wrong location and nothing there. Tried ME and Red Flag Campaign. Also quick missions will all units displayed on map. JTAC reports coordinate where there aren't units JTAC coords entered correctly including elevation. Converted ok Anyone else experiencing the same. Used to be fine no problem. 6 digits entered with 2 extra 00s at the end as normal??

Please advice. Last week I started getting crappy performance from my hardware and setting. In VR I'm used to seeing between 45-80 FPS. Suddenly, without any apparent reason (I hadn't changed any settings) I was looking at ~20-25 FPS, sometimes even sub 20. As I started to troubleshoot I reset all DCS settings to "VR" (which acronym for "crappy settings to maximize performance; goodbye graphics - hello frame rates") and I was still looking at sub-30 FPS! I don't see anything obvious in the Nvidia control panel. Hardware: i9 11900K, 64Gb DDR4, RTX 4090, Varjo Aero Windows 11 Home Edition. Latest Nvidia drivers. I do not have MSI Afterburner installed Tested so far: Reset Nvidia control panel settings to default, then changed "Power management mode" to "Prefer maximum performance" Reset DCS settings to "VR" (really bad graphics quality) Tested Multi Thread and Single Thread (equally bad performance) DCS is currently not playable I'm stumped graphics.lua options.lua

While creating a mission, I noticed that there's a discrepancy or omission between the tanker's callsign assigned in the Mission Editor and the one displayed in the SA page when EPLRS is activated in the tankers. When a KC-135 is involved: - Arco X-X >>> Texaco 1-1 (TX11) - Shell X-X >>> Texaco 1-1 (TX11) - Texaco X-X >>> Enfield 1-1 (ED11) When a KC-135MPRS is involved, no callsign is displayed. In the missions run from the attached files I used for testing, all tankers are shown as "donors" in the SA page. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thank you! Hello, first sorry for my broken English. I am updated my DCS to 2.9. If I play my own training mission for DCS MiG-21BIS (Caucasus), so I have problem with extreme low FPS drops (3 - 5FPS) every few minutes. Any time I have normal FPS, but after few minutes my FPS drop to minimum, FPS drops takes a few seconds (5 - 10 seconds). This status lasts since the update to version 2.9. My HW: intel i-9 12900K, 32GB RAM, RTX 3080, 2x .m2 (DCS installed on .m2 disk), 32" ASUS monitor DCS Version: Non-Steam, classic client version 2.9.0.46801 My settings: I translated keywords, to English: Vysoký - High Nízky - Low Any ideas on temporary workarounds - in my setting (while maintaining quality)? Since the last "Stable" Update this game is completely unplayable. First, I need to restart to get the game to load, then the game just freezes in the middle of anything.

Hi all, I think I found one bug in F16. in last days happened several times, when Im flying mixed loadout, for example Ammrams and Jdams and I switch from AG mode to AA or dogfight its impossible to switch back on AG mode. Jdam page in SMS disapear, and only AG armament is gun. Of course, Jdams are still on my wings. This is not happening all the time, but its like 50:50

Hello. When myself is spawned on the blue side, hot in the Air. Intention is BVR. I wanted to se how members and doners work so i spawn behind me 2 hornets on the same side ( Blue ) and i was going to spawn 4 red mig29S on the redside. only 1 friendly hornet was showing up in the LINK (SA PAGE). not 2. I saw sometimes the other one but they could not be both on the SA page the same time. My guess is that they share the same STN and PPLI Method of spawn ia script using moose. one unit spawn then it copy's the unit and spawn multiple. Dcs should give new attributes to the copied units.
