save mission file DSMC (the new "DAWS")
chromium posted a topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Dynamic Sequential Mission Campaign (DSMC) is a tool for mission designers, supporting versions of DCS World 2.5.6 and above. This tool adds persistence to any DCS World mission, done by allowing the user to save the scenario at any moment and generate a new mission file based on the situation at the time of saving, that can be loaded, or edited, using the DCS mission editor. DSMC is required to be installed on the host/server only and has configuration settings available for both Dedicated servers, or Player as Host, via the special options GUI in DCS World. DSMC creates a new .miz file that includes: All original triggers, scripts, and embedded files as the original .miz Updated unit positions and states (alive, dead) Scenery object states, like bridges, houses, and structures Updated airbases, Oil/Gas facilities & FARP ownership Updated warehouse contents of fuel, aircraft & ammo many many more things! DSMC also includes improved features and functions for dedicated server mode, and for servers with desanitized missionscripting.lua settings. It's strongly recommended checking the manual before using the mod, at least to understand what it does and how to use it To download the mod, check this site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ For bug reports & suggestion, or simply to share your experience, there's a dedicated discord channel: https://discord.gg/T7NhsaxXBB DSMC is created from the ashes of "DAWS" and "DAWS Package", rewritten almost from scratch to enhance capability & stability... there will be others, for sure: as you know, every time 1 bug is fixed there's the chance for a couple of them to kick in.. but I hope that this will work ok for most of you, and for the others I'll do my best to support properly Have fun!- 88 replies

How can someone retrieve the number of online players in their server and put it on a website?
-
Hi there ! Since a few days (maybe since 2.8, note sure), we're not able to ban a player from our dedicated server using the remote console anymore. In summary: - Kick from local web GUI : OK - Ban from local web GUI : OK - Kick from remote GUI : OK - Ban from remote GUI : KO I'll be pleased to provide you with any log/trace/ID you may need to investigate.

I recently put together a server build for running multiple DCS clients. Unfortunately, it can't handle a heavy map. The mission on the server will proceed just fine until a client connects. Then all AI planes slowly loose their airspeed and it drops to 0. The airspeed will then skyrocket back up and down, with the planes hovering in place. I should note that lighter missions usually run flawlessly. Also, logs don't show a thing. Process Lasso did not make any performance improvements; to trick DCS into thinking all the cores from both processor are 1. Dual Xeon E-52678 v3 Processors (12 cores each - 24 with HT) 2.5Ghz 128GB DDR3 EEC Memory Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 OS Disk is a dual 1TB SSD on Raid 0 DCS is installed on a separate 1TB SSD Windows 10

I would like to request a server option, similiar to the "no trial clients" option, that allows only clients who bought at least one module to join a server. I want that option because most public servers banned the Su-25T from their missions because it is/was used to use cheats/hacks and to avoid bans by creating a new account which is very sad considering it capabilities and the lack of a good and/or capable redfor strike aircraft. A "no free clients option" would stop the abuse the use of the Su-25T once and forever in MP

I just want to share a bat file I wrote to update DCS Server when a change is detected on the https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ site I am using a program called "Website-Watcher" to monitor for any changes to the specific text. Once a change is detected, it launches my bat file that shuts down any running servers, updates DCS, restores the missionscripting.lua file then restarts the servers. This script has worked wonderfully for the last three updates. I am using "Website-Watcher" to monitor https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ but any website scrapper that can launch a bat file will work. null echo Starting Update Tasks timeout /t 3 /nobreak :CheckDCS echo "Checking if DCS Servers are running" :: Update the Server names (Instance) taskkill /F /FI "WINDOWTITLE eq Dedicated-001" 2>NUL | find /I /N "Dedicated-001">NUL taskkill /F /FI "WINDOWTITLE eq Dedicated-002" 2>NUL | find /I /N "Dedicated-002">NUL taskkill /F /FI "WINDOWTITLE eq Dedicated-003" 2>NUL | find /I /N "Dedicated-003">NUL IF NOT %ERRORLEVEL%==0 GOTO RunDCSUpdater echo "DCS is still running.
