With this new subforum now created I've noticed people asking various questions which have been asked and answered in RAZBAM's discord as well. Yes, the handful of switches exclusive to the WSO seat will be able to be flipped via a key input from the front seat if you are flying solo - What UFC will we get? I'm pretty sure the poll regarding this ended with an overwhelming win for the DIGITAL UFC, but maybe RAZBAM will model both and allow you to change, but that is unconfirmed - Will it be able to carry Harpoon/SLAM/HARM? No, USAF Strike Eagles do not employ those weapons - Will it carry nuclear bombs? No, with ED now in charge of making weapons there won't be any form of Nuclear weapon (this is also not simulated in DCS anyway) - Is there an ETA on the release? NO

Hi! I love flying in the F-15C and the F-22, and i wondered if there are any squadrons recruiting. I live in the EU and i got around 110 hours of flighttime. This is an Close Air Support Mission set on the Syria Map and can be played single-player or multi-crew. See Read_Me file in the included ,zip for more information. There are two versions of this mission inside the zip file. One is a Cold Start and the other an Air Start. The Air Start version puts you at the refueling track, full of gas and ready to take on any tasking you receive. It is recommended to fly the Cold Start Version first though, as you will receive more information about the mission. NOTE: If you are playing multicrew, it must be a locally hosted multiplayer session. Due to the complex triggers and scripts in the mission you cannot use the Dedicated Server. This mission is designed for players who are proficient in the DCS F-15E module and its weapons systems. Examples of challenges you may face include: • Basic aircraft handling, such as take offs and landings • Use of the various radio and navigation systems. • Air to Air Refueling. • Dynamic re-tasking in a fast-paced environment. • Use of the targeting pod and employment of weapons systems. Russian SU-35 CAP patrols have been observed in and around the port of TARTUS, which coincides with the expected arrival of their naval task force later today. Syrian Air Force has MiG-29 on alert at TIYAS and SHAYRAT airbases, all believed to be in a 15-minute alert status. Russian SU-35 are on 5-minute alert at Latakia Airbase. ________________________________________ Syrian IADS network is still operational. Damascus is defended by long range SA-5 and SA-2 batteries. Hi was wondering if anyone have seen or found pictures giving an overview over the pilots cockpit in the F-15E... Would be nice to could start planing how to setup my VirPils Panels, SteamDeck SL and other at my humble homecockpit Are there any differences between the DCS version and the real life version, some panels there are deliberate left out, if they ain't in game..? Thanks in advance

I know there is a thing about nuclear weapons in DCS. I know Ed has stated flat out, no more nucs. I think I have a compromise. What about practice bombs. I was talking in my squadron about this, and honestly having practice B61's for US aircraft would at least slightly solve this issue. Some people really want them, because the jets really can carry them. Pilots need to train with them, (real life) and the aircraft need to be tested to ensure clean separation with the weapon. As a practice B61 could be skinned to look real, and won't crash servers since it doesn't blow up, I think this might be a nice compromise solution. Practice bombs for the B61? anyone?

DCAF(Digital Coalition Air Force) is proud to announce that it is taking on Strike Eagle recruits to join us on release! Following years of excellent service, VF-31 will be retiring the venerable F-14A Tomcat to convert onto the F-15E Strike Eagle. As a fully staffed squadron, we want to hit the ground running, bring in new energy to our community and have you join us in this exciting new chapter. While some aspects will be contingent on the state of the EA release of the Strike Eagle, we have prepared a fully fledged airframe familiarisation course, SOPs and the appropriate integration to our existing training structure, such that by the end of the training season, newly qualified officers will be able to operate within large operations and execute tasks efficiently. How will the timetable work? DCAF will be commencing its 3 month training season from the 1st July, in which ab initio cadets will progress through familiarisation flight, circuits, formation flying, air to air refuelling, tacform, unguided & precision air to surface employment, basic fighter manoeuvres, air combat manoeuvring, beyond visual range timelines, as well as DCA & OCA gameplans. Prior to the commencement and during the training season, cadets will have access to BATS, our online training resource where users can read content, be assessed and track their progress. A snippet of airframe familiarisation: Once the training season completes all DCAF squadrons will enter the ops season, where you can expect complex missions and campaigns featuring 40+ players flush with WeCOs and JTACs. Super excited that the F15-E Strike Eagle is finally here. Thank You Razbam & ED for your work. So, I went into DCS and it downloaded the latest update (2.8.6.41363) Then I did a DCS Repair. Then went into DCS MT, application loaded fine. Then into Module Manager and then attempted the install process. The DCS Updater (version 2.16.3.18) starts to run briefly then it stops and says "Latest available version 2.8.6.41363 requires Windows 8.1 or higher. Press OK to pick the latest compatible version - So I click on OK and this is then followed by Version 2.8.6.41363 is not available. Consider updating - Which of course I have checked already, this is then followed by an autoupdatelog (attached to this report, along with DCS errors) Yet in a bizarre twist of event I tried the same procedure in DCS (non MT) version and it downloaded and installed with no issue.. Have exited DCS Non M-T and gone back into DCS M-T and the module loads and fly's and looks lovely but thought it was worth reporting in case it is an issue. autoupdate_templog.txt
