A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred targets still unknown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* But it's my belief that my Thunderchief strikes a telling blow for the GI Joe. Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred bridges to be blown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* If the shrapnel stuck I'll be out of luck and Jolly Green will pick me up. Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. A hundred missions to be flown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* A hundred targets still unknown. *uh-hmm, uh-hmm* On my left my right the rest of flight help keep me alive in my 105............... Still a hundred missions I my self have flown. (song is as best as I can recreate it from clips. Order of lyrics is unknown)

DCS: F-100D Super Sabre Introducing the Hun We are thrilled to announce DCS: F-100D Super Sabre by Grinnelli Designs. The “Hun” is a single seat, single engine fighter designed by North American Aviation that was the original fighter in the legendary Century Series. The Super Sabre was the first USAF fighter capable of supersonic speeds in level flight. Flown extensively in Vietnam, its contribution was irreplaceable. The F-100D is an advanced version of the Super Sabre that features improved avionics, landing flaps, and larger wings and tail fin. The upgraded avionics include the AN/AJB-1B low-altitude bombing system and an AN/APR-25 radar homing and warning system. The F-100D has four 20 mm Pontiac M39A1 cannons, and it has six hardpoints capable of carrying AIM-9 Sidewinders, LAU-3/A unguided rocket pods, and conventional bombs. The Super Sabre fighter bomber flew extensively over Vietnam as the United States Air Force's primary close air support jet. The F-100 was in service for 17 years and flew over 360,000 combat sorties before it was retired in 1971. DCS: F-100D Super Sabre aspires to be the most faithful re-creation of the Hun ever produced for flight simulation. Working with veteran Hun pilots, the Grinnelli team is dedicated to simulating the avionics systems, weapons, performance, and unique flight model in high fidelity. Bye Phant

Hello, the last couple of weeks ive flowen the UH 1 a lot... and i noticed that the graphics are not up to date and the crew could be substantially overhauled. I thought about crew coms when the door gunner pick something up etc... And i still want to see the flechette rockets with the orange smoke when they explode. The Uh1 would definitely benefit from new Graphics Lightning and shadows... Hope this catches EDs eyes and they work on that... Thanks

Bell UH-1M (Huey Hog) Helicopter gunship ..... flyable, clcikable, standalone, startup procedure, EFM, fully armed..... etc etc.... Vietcong added to the infantry list in Mission Editor.... for the Vietnam War. CREDITS : see credit text in folder (Cockpit by Yakarov) This is a Hi-res cockpit of the Bell UH-1M, with a simpler startup. It is not my intention to replace the UH-1H module by Belsimtek or replicate it in anyway; however there was a perceived desire in the modding community for a fully fledged Vietnam War era helicopter gunship; and so I did the UH1C, then realised that infact the UH1M was a better configuration and carried more weapons......so..... here we have the Bell UH-1M. Startup : look in folder for "UH-1M startup procedure.txt"....... there is a switch to turn on/off hints.... If you want a HiRes cockpit with all the bells and whistles working, please consider buying the UH-1H Huey by Belsimtek, that is an excellent module and gives you the full immersion experience. This project (UH-1M) was drawn together and completed by Freddy. DOWNLOAD THE UH-1M HERE NEW LINK...... 3 March 2022 Fixed landing on moving ships ...... credit and thanks to NoCallsign for testing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dglZauqLl1oXjf6FmsvJSua5qW-jpjdk/view?usp=sharing installation : : C:\Users\XXXXXX\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\Bell UH-1M

There are many maps in DCS, available and in developement, but except for WW2, they are all modeled like in civilian simulator as 2020 modern day timeframe - and this takes away some of the combat simulator atmosphere and makes DCS feel like cockpit simulator/civilian simulator/sandbox etc. when you fly historical aircrafts like 1944 Bf109, 1972 MiG-21bis or 2005 F/A-18 over 'modern day 2020 civilian map'. Other military simulators had maps modeled as particular warzones with proper timeframe. All the maps like 2020 Persian Gulf, Marianas, South Atlentic, Sinai, Kola Peninsula, Australia etc. are proper only for fictional scenarios - there were no wars over them in ~2020. What is more even "modern" modules like F/A-18, F-16, Apache etc. are modeled as year ~2005. 15-20 years old standard of second Iraq war, not 2020. Fictional scenarios are not exactly bad, but there is a problem when all scenarios have to be only fictional. My wish is to have e.g. 1950 Korea map, or 1967 Six-Day-War Syria map, 1960s Vietnam map, 1973 Yom Kippur Sinai map, 1980s Libyan map, 1980s Iraq/Iran border map, 1991 Gulf War map. As they would portray real all out conflicts and match aircrafts we have in DCS. Or when fictional - at least some plausible like 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis map of Cuba, Cold War Fulda Gap divided Germany map e.g. during Berlin Crysis, Arctic Crisis 1970s-1980s Kola Peninsula map etc. cheers
