Hello Devrim,

 

So I effed up. I got cocky and didn't back up my original textures... I am getting the all black cockpit. I used all your mods for the BS, they are awesome! Any guess what I'm doing wrong? I extracted your download and then copy pasted into the file listed in the readme...

EDIT: Just installed your "gray" SU27 mod. Now I have most of the cockpit back but it is still all black around each set of dials...? What do you think is messed up?

I love DEVRIM's work also, The english cockpits are a god send when trying to learn a foreign aircraft, once you know the layout and what things are, You might go back to the russian version for authenticity.

 

Devrim's sounds bundles are also amazing for immersion, it adds like 75% more fun to game.

 

To Devrim, don't under estimate you impact on the DCS community, there would be a lot of us out there that use and appreciate all of your hard work, but just don't show it enough.:cheer3nc::thumbup::worthy::cheer3nc:

Of course, many people like authentique environment in cockpit, but for example, Mi-8 is used in other countries with English labelled cockpit. This can be similar with what I did.

 

All English cockpit mods are for fun of course and they're an option. :)

Don't know. But we could try. EDIT: Didn't work for me.

Actually it works with FC3. If you mention about new DCS: Su-27 module, I didn't check it, probably it works with it too. If not, it should be only a installation path issue. I'll check it!

 

By the way, I'd like to let you know about that I'm preparing an update for this mod. ED has some changes on Su-27 textures. You know, Su-27 textures is now not cartoonish anymore. Thanks ED. :)

This is a quote from install instruction of Su-27 English Mod that has already been released yesterday (but waiting for moderator approve).

 

1) If you're FC3 player, browse: "..\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\" folder,

or if you're DCS:SU-27 module player: "..\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Su-27\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\" folder.

 

2) Create "SU-27S-CPT-TEXTURES" folder here.

 

3) Move 11 DDS files into "SU-27S-CPT-TEXTURES" folder.
