zaGURUinzaSKY
I received a mission file from a friend of mine for offline formation training with a AI 5 ship formation.. I immediatly noiced that in this mission aircrafts doesn't change the speed as normally happens with all aircrafts (except flying refueller). Looking at the settings the only difference from the mission I made is that waypoint 0 has ALTITUDE LOCK in all AI aircrafts. What is the relation between altitude lock and speed variations? What else is affecting the speed adjustment of AI aircrafts? I tried to recreate the mission on a different geografic area, but my AI aircrafts still adjust the speed.. Is the terrain altitude variation influencinge the AI speed?? Thanxxzz Robbie.

Burner_Tbird2
Why don't you post the mission file so we can look at it and see if there's anything else special about the setup.

zaGURUinzaSKY
I'm currently playing a clean install now and I have no file to post.. but it was extremely simple: In waypoint 0 of the AI aircraft set "Lock Altitude" and the airplanes keep a stable speed (really stable). Nice to use it for offline training (turns always sucks.. but leveled and straight flight is fine). It works better over a flat land. Robbie.
